I have her nestled in between a bunch of other autoflowers that are one month old now so she's got lots of company! Since sprouting the Zkittlez has bee doing exceptional, with good color and vigor. I was a little concerned about her when she first sprouted as her first leaf set had a funky color to them and I feared that she wouldn't survive. But low and behold, when she opened up her leaves they turned a beautiful green and she's been looking healthy ever since! Today I gave her her first water/feed with 20oz of well water with a base ppm of 100, to which was added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Grow 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Take Root @ 3.8 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g. After adding the nutrients I ph'd the solution to 6.1 @ 74℉ 11/10- The Zkittlez is doing really well in her little Popcorn Bucket! I didn't water her today, but will wait until tomorrow to avoid over watering her. 11/12- Yesterday I went ahead and watered/fed the Zkittlez with 20oz of well water with a base ppm of 100, to which was added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Grow 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Take Root @ 3.8 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g. After adding the nutrients I ph'd the solution to 6.0 @ 75℉. The Zkittlez Auto is doing great, has good color, vigor and already has her third leaf set emerging! 11/14- Today when I checked her pot the Zkittlez auto was still pretty moist so I'll be waiting until tomorrow to water/feed her. The Zkittlez Auto is doing fantastic without any visible health issues, has good color and now has her third leaf set almost fully emerged! Well it's been a fun week watching this little girl grow and the coming weeks promise to be more exciting as they pass and she gets her groove on! After adding the nutrients and checking the EC, I ph'd the solution to 6.1 @ 74℉ 11/17- I skipped watering as her pot still had some weight to it and she was 'praying' hard showing no signs of being thirsty. 11/19- Yesterday the Zkittlez Auto still looked perky so I decided to wait another day to water/feed her. I did decide since she's in such a small pot to go ahead and top her today. Her fifth leaf set was just emerging so that is what I removed. Now, she'll not grow quite as tall and will train into a beautiful looking lady!😍👍 Today her leaves were just starting to show signs of drooping and her pot was light so I went ahead and watered/fed her with 0.25g of well water with a base ppm of 100 that I allowed the excess to drain to waste. To the well water I added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Grow 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Take Root @ 3.8 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g to end up with a total 800ppm nutrient solution. After adding the nutrients and checking the EC, I ph'd the solution to 6.1 @ 74℉. 11/21- I skipped watering today as she was still pretty moist (the plastic 'popcorn bucket' doesn't breath like a fabric pot) and I don't want her roots to get too wet so I'll wait until tomorrow and check her again. The Zkittlez Auto reacted really well to her topping and has new shoots emerging from the site . I also noticed today that she is starting to show signs of pre-flower with some nodes showing emerging pistils! 11/28- The Zkittlez Auto has entered into pre-flower and in a week, give or take, she'll be going through her stretch and we'll see what this girl's got going on! No water today, I just turned her pot and tucked a couple of shade leaves. How exciting is this! Today when I checked her pot it was light so I went ahead and watered/fed her with 0.25g of well water with a base ppm of 100 that I allowed the excess to drain to waste. To the well water I added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Grow 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g (I'll be switching to the "Bloom" next feed), Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Take Root @ 3.8 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g to end up with a total 850ppm nutrient solution. After adding the nutrients and checking the EC, I ph'd the solution to 6.0 @ 74℉. 12/1- Today after doing some HST (twisting and bending branches), I went ahead and watered/fed her with 0.25g of well water with a base ppm of 100 that I allowed the excess to drain to waste. To the well water I added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Bloom 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g each, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g to end up with a total 900ppm nutrient solution. After adding the nutrients and checking the EC, I ph'd the solution to 6.3 @ 73℉. 12/3- Today I let her dry out a bit more and will be watering/feeding her tomorrow after 'lights on'. Today all I did was take a quick video of her, check and rotate her pot and do a little HST on her main branches to keep her canopy as even as possible. 12/5- Well this little lady is getting big enough now to require daily watering as she's a very thirsty girl! I'm now watering until runoff daily with 0.25g of well water with a base ppm of 100 to which I added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Bloom 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g each, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g to end up with a total 900ppm nutrient solution. After adding the nutrients and checking the EC (1.9 EC), I ph'd the solution to 6.3 @ 73℉. I also kept up on canopy maintenance by doing some lite bending of her main branches and ended with giving her pot 1/4 turn... After adding the nutrients and checking the EC (2.1 EC), I ph'd the solution to 6.4 @ 72℉. 12/8- The HST really paid off with the Zkittlez Auto's canopy being nice and even with numerous flower sites that are all getting adequate light to them! I did some defoliating of lower shade leaves and any small growth down low on the plant to focus all her energy to her upper portion which is where I want it to be. I'm beginning to flush the Seedsman Zkittlez Auto now giving it straight well water that's ph'd to 6.5-6.7 @ 70-72℉ and turning her pot 1/4 turn daily. 1/19- The Zkittlez Auto was watered until runoff yesterday with well water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 70℉ and her pot was turned. This lady is looking absolutely AMAZING now with HUGH colas that are super frosty! 1/21- I didn't water yesterday, today I realized that because our RH has dropped into the 30's that she'd dry out faster, and today she was wilting 😶. I'm not too concerned as the stress will do nothing but force her to up her trichome production. I went ahead and flooded her pot until I had a good runoff with well water that's ph'd to 6.6 @ 71℉ and gave her pot a turn. Four hours later when I checked on her, she had already perked back up and looked much better! Her fade is coming on strong now and I anticipate placing her in the dark for 72 hours within 4-5 more days, after which she'll be ready to hang to dry! 1/23- I gave the Zkittlez Auto a healthy flush today with well water that I ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. Her trichomes are 80% milky now and I anticipate her being ready anytime so I've been checking her trichomes daily to hit that 'sweet spot' if possible. Well, eight weeks of flowering on the books and this beauty is just about done! The Seedsman Zkittlez Auto will be finished up in the next couple of days and then will go 'dark' for 72 hours before I hang her to begin the drying/curing process! This fine looking lady has been growing for 80 days since she broke ground and has turned out simply AMAZING! 🤩❤️ I'm flushing every day now with well water that's ph'd to 6.5-6.7 @ 71℉ until I have good runoff and that's exactly what I did today in addition to giving her pot a 1/4 turn. 1/26- Today I flushed the Zkittlez Auto for the last time and I'm going to put her in the dark for 72 hours today after checking her trichomes one last time. 1/30- Yesterday the Seedsman Zkittlez Auto was released from 'Dark Jail' and looked absolutely amazing, covered in frost and sporting some gorgeous coloration on her flowers! After snapping some pic's I chopped and hung her to begin the drying/curing process. She's hanging in total darkness with a fan, de-humidifier and humidifier to keep the air circulating gently and the RH at 60% (I usually run the RH down to 50% for the first 24hrs, then up it to 60% for the remainder of the hanging time). The air temperature in my drying room stays a constant 53-60℉ which I find ideal for getting the drying time to the 12-14 days I like it to be to ensure a nice S L O W drying which, I've found, ensures a super delicious product after it's finished curing for 3-4 months in jars! This has been such a fun grow to participate in, and as always, I learned a few things I didn't know previously as I've always grown in much larger containers which made this grow that much more interesting to me! While in the dark I maintained a temperature of 65-68℉ and a RH of 40%. After three days in the dark I removed the Zkittlez Auto and all I can say is WOW! All of the flowers on the Zkittlez were just covered in trichomes and it had a super strong sweet/fruity aroma that hit me right in the face!😍 I cut the Zkittlez and hung her in two sections as the flowers were huge, and I wanted to make sure that there wasn't going to be any issues with air circulation around them possibly causing issues. It's wintertime here now so I took advantage of the low temp's and RH hanging the Zkittlez Auto in my attic. I sealed off a section of the attic from any light leaks and installed a de-humidifier, fan and humidifier along with a hygrometer which I suspended at the same level as the plant was hanging which give the most accurate reading of temp/RH. After hanging the Zkittles, I adjusted the fan direction so that it was not blowing directly on the hanging plant, but kept the air slightly moving in the room. I set the de-humidifier for 50% which I run for the first 24hrs to knock down some moisture in the plant, then set it to 60-65% for the remainder of the drying time. The Zkittles Auto hung for a full 12 days, during which I checked on it daily to empty the de-humidifier and make sure that the environment stayed on point. After hanging, it was time to trim this beauty up and get her flowers into glass jars to begin the curing process which I prefer to take at least one month, preferably 2-3 months to really get a good cure and allow all the starches to convert to sugars, the remaining chlorophyll to metabolize and the terpenes to form their bouquet! Trimming the Zkittlez Auto by Seedsman was a breeze and resulted in some tightly stacked and absolutely gorgeous flowers that are loaded with shiny trichomes that sparkle, and a sweet and fruity aroma that will make your mouth water!😍 I was super stoked to harvest almost 100g from this beautiful autoflower that was grown in a little .5g plastic popcorn pot that I had saved from a trip to see 'Top Gun Maverick' at the theater and I can attest from cultivating Seedsman's Zkittlez Auto in the past, that with a bigger pot, it is capable of some incredible yields! All in all, this grow was super fun and easy! I highly recommend Seedsman's Zkittlez Auto to everyone from novice's to master growers as it NEVER disappoints to produce some mind blowing fruity buds! ❤️❤️❤️
