🌿 Permanent Marker – Pheno #1 | Harvest Report (Part 1) (Week 13 From Seed / Week 9 Flower — The Tall Mama’s Story) ⸻ 🌟 A Gentle Apology To Start… Before diving into this week’s update, I want to offer a small apology to everyone following this diary. Because of the new file limitations, I once again had to divide the harvest and trim documentation into separate weeks. This pheno was massive, and naturally… she produced an unbelievable amount of media — photos, videos, details from every angle. So to avoid losing anything, here is Part 1 of her harvest story. Thank you for your understanding, and thank you to GrowDiaries for continuing to improve the platform. 💚 ⸻ 🌸 Harvest – Pheno #1 (The One Who Aimed for the Moon) If Pheno #2 was compact elegance, then Pheno #1 was pure cosmic energy. From the moment she started stretching, she refused to stop — tall, powerful, expressive, and full of character. And in the end? She delivered 249 grams of dry, cured, beautifully aromatic medicine. A true queen. What defined her: • Thick, dense, resin-rich buds • Rich coloration during late flower • Loud aroma that filled the dry room • A structure that felt sculpted rather than grown Even though she stretched to the stars, her bud formation was surprisingly compact and tight, even tighter than her sister’s. Different phenos, different personalities — and both extraordinary. ⸻ Drying & Trim (Narrative Summary) Pheno #1 followed the same journey as her sister: – harvested whole – hung as a complete plant – left to dry naturally in stable conditions – trimmed entirely by hand with scissors and fingers – every bud selected and shaped with care – stored and cured properly in Grove Bags Her weight settled at 249 grams after cure — clean, stable, fragrant. During trimming and curing, her personality truly revealed itself: Floral elements, deep sweetness, that unmistakable Permanent Marker sharpness, and an intensity that promises beautiful experiences. The volume of resin was immediately noticeable — sticky fingers and loud aromas from the moment the scissors touched her. ⸻ 🌈 Aroma & Expression Even before final cure, she was exploding with character: – louder terpenes than expected – thick resin presence – bold colors in late flower translating into rich tones in the final buds – beautifully clean burn and expressive flavors She truly embodies the lineage she comes from. ⸻ 🌿 Why This Update Is Split Simply put: she was huge — and I documented everything. With GrowDiaries’ new upload restrictions, it’s safer to do this in two parts than to risk losing files halfway. Part 2 will come next week, with the remaining photos, videos, and impressions from her drying and curing evolution. ⸻ 🏆 Dognabis Cup – A Little Reminder The Dognabis Cup continues beautifully. Growers are posting diaries, sharing updates, and supporting each other. If you haven’t checked them out yet, I invite you — the links are already added in the diary. Cup Deadline: January 31st Plenty of time, no rush, grow at your own rhythm and enjoy the process. This Cup is about joy, honesty, community, and celebration — not pressure. ⸻ 💚 Gratitude & Community A huge thank you, from the heart, to: Zamnesia Seeds, Ocogenectica Seeds, Aptus Holland, ThinkGrow, Future of Grow, Skunk Magazine, FOG, GroveBags, DaggaDNA, Popeyes Passion, Imperial Seeds, TrolMaster And to everyone who follows this journey — the supporters, the critics, the lovers, the haters, the curious ones, the passionate ones. Info: Unfortunately, I had to find out that my account is used for fake pages in social media. I am only active here on growdiaries. I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Have fun with the update. Hey everyone 😃. Every day is a joy when I take the lid down and see how the lady comes to life 😊. She is developing great :-) It only had to be poured once with 300 ml because it is under the hood with a very high humidity :-). The hood was sprayed every day. I think I'll start training this week :-). Otherwise, as always, the humidifier was refilled and the entire tent was cleaned. I wish you a lot of fun with the update :-). Day29: New sets of leaves. I'll repot and switch to proper Veg Lights on the weekend. Day30: I'll repot tomorrow. Day31: Repotting done. She had a crazy amount of roots in the seedling pot. MUCH more than I expected. I switched to Veg lights at 90% power. Day32: Settling in new pot Day33 & 34: I had to perform some maintenance on the tent. Lost some hours due to that. Day35: Growth really looking healthy. Although she's not really stretching high, she does look rather happy. I do like them thicc ;) General: I need to put the camera somewhere else so that the growth can be better seen. Right at the end I'll edit out the white flashes. They're caused by the humidifier running and will be really easy to cut out without losing the gist of the grow :)

So this week the plants streched like crazy, the NL started to flower too and has actually become taller then the other 2 plants, even though its technically 2 weeks behind. the strange thing is its way more spacious then the packed Diesel.... it'll be fun seeing how they match up in the end! My new fan and dehumidifier solved the RH issue I had and I crushed it down to under 50% now! Things are looking like they're on the right track.....fingers crossed! I wonder if there is anything else I can add , nutrient wise... i know I shouldn't overdo it but I'll play around a bit and see. Got rid of most bigger and medium fan leaves that i felt were blocking the bud-sites from getting light...again, not sure about if I'm going about this the right way, seems counter-intuitive to get rid of so much green but hey ...it helps greatly with lowering humidity and keeps the bottom of the girls nice and ventilated. I actually took off a bit more because it keeps growing shut. Update: got some big bud and overdrive from my local grow shop... I'll give it a try...

Sticky Mango Auto — Week 4 Update Grower: Stoney Stark / Little Lilly Farms Stage: Late Veg → Early Flower Transition ⸻ Growth Overview By Week 4, a noticeable size difference has developed between the two plants. One plant is nearly double the size of the other, while the smaller plant has entered early flower first, showing visible white pistils. This staggered development is not uncommon in autoflowers and appears to be influenced by early root-zone moisture differences. The larger plant remains in late vegetative growth, while the smaller plant is clearly transitioning into flower. ⸻ Moisture Management & Wicking Adjustments 2/1 Signs of overwatering observed. Pots were placed on stands to remove them from the wicking rope and mat. The absorbent pad was removed from the pot showing more stress, while the healthier plant remained on the mat. After ~11 hours, both plants were returned to their wicking material. 2/2 Plants continued to show signs of excess moisture. Both were again placed on stands to fully disconnect from the wicking ropes. 2/3 Decided to extend dry-back by another 24 hours to allow the root zone to re-oxygenate. These adjustments helped slow water uptake and encouraged healthier root respiration before flower onset. ⸻ Flower Initiation 2/5 First signs of flower observed — white pistil hairs visible. 2/6 Smaller plant clearly showing pistils. Both plants were low-stress trained by tying down branches to open structure and manage height differences. ⸻ Feeding Log — 2/6 • Total volume: 1 gallon (split evenly) • Amount: ½ gallon per plant • PPM: 877 • pH: 5.9 Nutrients (per gallon): • Armor Si — 1 ml • Micro — 5 ml • Grow — 2 ml • Bloom — 4 ml • CaliMagic — 1.5 ml • Floralicious Plus — 1 ml ⸻ Nutrient Strategy & Purpose (Week 4 Transition) Armor Si (Silica) Used to strengthen cell walls and improve stress resistance. Especially important here due to recent moisture stress, training, and the upcoming stretch phase. Micro Provides essential micronutrients (iron, manganese, zinc, copper) that support chlorophyll production and enzyme activity. Keeps growth balanced as the plant shifts metabolic focus toward flowering. Grow (Reduced) Nitrogen is still needed, but at a lowered rate. This supports continued leaf function without pushing excess vegetative growth, which can be counterproductive once flowering begins—especially for the smaller plant already showing pistils. Bloom (Increased) Phosphorus and potassium are ramped up to support flower initiation, root signaling, and early bud site development. This helps both plants transition smoothly despite their size difference. CaliMagic Calcium supports cell division and structural growth, while magnesium is essential for chlorophyll production. Critical in coco, especially during stretch and early flower when demand increases. Floralicious Plus Provides organic acids and bioactive compounds that enhance nutrient uptake, improve root efficiency, and help buffer stress from training and environmental adjustments. ⸻ Notes Going Forward With one plant entering flower ahead of the other, feeding will remain balanced but conservative on nitrogen while continuing to support early bloom development. Moisture management will stay a priority to prevent further root stress and ensure a smooth transition into full flower.

Bang on the start of week 5. Snow flurry are not looking too bad, there structure on I think 4 or 5 are decent. There’s 1 mutant that I’m just gonna let do it’s thing. There short, stout and bushy, quite tricky to Train, as the branches are thick and rock hard, definitely slow in veg as they will be in flower, hopefully it will be worth the wait!!! ✌️🏼

#43 clones are maturing too fast I feel. Especially that a mother is ripening normally. I would guess it’s because of poor rooting. It’s the only difference. I keep runoff at around 3 max. Around week 5 the runoff ph started to drop below 6. Even towards 5.5. Both in rockwool and coco.

🌱⚗️😄 _________________________________________________________ **HydroLab – Bloom Week 1: Stretch Protocol Activated** Welcome back to the HydroLab, where the plants grow faster than my ability to explain what’s going on, and where chaos is considered a valid research method. The flip to 12/12 was seven days ago — and the ladies took that as a personal challenge. The stretch? Immediate and aggressive. The “herbal carpet” I predicted last week? Fully deployed. 🌡️ System Diagnostics EC: holding steady at 1.5 Water: ultra-clean, 0.05 EC from the deionization unit CalMag: now part of the baseline (unlike with tap water) pH: adjusted to 5.8, drifting naturally up to 6.2 before correction Climate: cold nights outside → warm enough inside thanks to a 130W IR heater + dehumidifier tag-team 🛡️ Root Protection Protocol I covered the pot tops with aluminum foil — not pretty, but absolutely effective at blocking any stray light from entering the root zone. HydroLab Law #7: If it looks improvised but works perfectly, it’s not a bug — it’s a feature. 🌱 **Plant Behavior Report: Unrestricted Vertical Ambition** This week I didn’t cut anything… And the plants responded with: “Okay, we’ll take over now.” The stretch is in full swing, tops are pushing upward everywhere, and the first flower sites are forming beautifully. The canopy is dense, lively, and wild — exactly what a sativa-leaning scrog looks like right before it becomes a jungle. Roots? A fluffy, creamy, active masterpiece. The mycorrhiza is clearly having the time of its life. 🔬 Researcher’s Note Sometimes science requires intervention. Other times… science requires stepping back, folding your arms, and whispering: “Let’s see what happens if I just don’t touch anything this week.” This was one of those weeks. And honestly? The system handled it better than expected. 🔭 Next Week’s Outlook canopy refinement begins lollipopping adjustments Bud Blood should fully kick in floral development expected to accelerate Until then: The HydroLab observes. The HydroLab measures. The HydroLab feeds. And the HydroLab cackles quietly in the corner. 🌿⚗️😄

WEEK#9 DAY#56 :She could use some water . Easy going grow , slow vertical climb multi-lateral branching . I could selectively prune to encourage vertical growth but at this time I think the grow is going fine . I anticipated the plant being larger at this time athough I’ve never grown this strain before to know what to expect I think another 4-6 weeks of VEG will do her nothing but JUSTICE . Still watering to make those dry amendments available . After these 28-31 days we’ll transplant her into her final 6gallon pot . Or atleast I think that will be her final pot I see the benefit of stepping up pot size gradually and honesty think the growth is healthier when done that way I’m just being lazy and don’t feel like up-potting 3 or more times . I just wanna make small adjustments and move on ya know ? Week#9Day#56Update: 2/3 older girls showing signs of flushing, there’s heavy yellowing top of the plant & purple hues beginning to show. The two of them should have 3-4 weeks left & the buds have not even began to swell yet so I’m worried I missed my feeding time after I gave them nute burn beginning of flower so my fear is that my bud won’t swell & I’ve just jacked up my harvest the last half of flower. I’m going to try & get small amounts of nutes in there to help the bud develop without giving too much to mess up the end of flower flush . The final older girl isn’t showing any signs of flush it is the smallest of the 3 & therefore perhaps did not consume as much food as the other 2 girls is all I can think considering all three ladies soil came from the same batch of premixed “soil” they weren’t individually mixed It’s almost time to get these older girls out & get some note-worthy shots of “Cellie” growing All ALONE into this 5x5. Heavy heavy heavy defoliation. Will pony-tail when the fan leaves grow back out Week#9 Day#63 Update: started pony tailing her tops that are large enough to pin back without decapitating/severing the top . The top dress feeding I gave her still hasn’t become plant available yet. She’s still yellowing . I’ll be glad to see her park back up & continuing growing on. I purchased some worm castings I’ll top dress with a few tablespoons before watering her in & see if that perks her up until the Gaia Green is broken down. Shes almost tall enough to come down off that 1gall bucket even before transplant into a 6gal planter like the older girls finishing up .

These girls are putting on quite a bit of growth. The taller of the 2 really likes to drink a lot of water, and the smaller doesn’t seem to drink much at all. Tomorrow I’ll probably give them their first nutrients. They’ve been in that soil for about a month and only taking the nutrients from that. Hopefully with some more nutrients they’ll grow more aggressively. I couldn’t control myself with the tall clone. I planned to leave it alone and keep her as a mother, but I really enjoy training and figured I could get some pretty large clones from her if I trained her as well. Last night I moved more powerful LED light that I have into the room. My flowering plant just went into 36 hours of darkness before I harvest her, so may as well give these clones about a week and a half of this light. Is it possible to over train a plant? I feel I’ve just tied the smaller clone (biggie smalls) to the soil and haven’t allowed her to really bulk up…
