Clone of a great Cinderella 99 mother. She recovered from topping and is getting ready for transplant. Using Fox Farm Happy Frog soil, so no additives yet.

Using an Aero garden LED light until my Spider Farmer arrives. The local shop was out of any decent sized plastic pots for gardening so I had to leave her in the solo cup for longer. She is doing fine. The topping was done a little late but I will LST her down when the branches get a little longer.

Spider farmer SF-1000 has arrived and I am setting it up with the tent for next week. The LST is working really well with the 3D printed tie downs. Lots of new growth and very easy to control. I have started adding some bat guano and cal mag to my water but i haven’t been checking the pH because I ran out of strips and waiting for my meter to arrive. The tips are burnt here maybe from pH problem. I will start adding some GHE Flora nutrients in low amounts and see how she reacts.

Moved her into the new tent with the Spider Farmer light and she is gonna love it. I did a bunch of defoliation 2 or 3 days after she settled in to the new tent. Letting all the tops get the light they need. I also removed a bunch of the undergrowth on the main stem and lower branches because it would not yield good buds like the tops.

Not sure why the plant started reacting bad to the GHE nutes or the doses I was feeding but a friend recommended Mega Crop and gave me some to try out so I switched to that this week anyways. Nothing much happening here besides minor recovery from whatever it went through and getting ready for the flip to 12/12

A little slow on the updates here. Just posted week 5 but it’s already transition week for a few days now! She’s in 12/12 and has some pistil development. She stretched a little bit. Some of the LST ties are also coming undone a little bit but it’s almost time the branches took a more finalized form anyways. I’ve started supplementing mycorrhizae and I happen to have two different products, Great White and Recharge. The formulations are similar in some ways but they are unique still. I have opted to begin transition week with a light dose of the great white, followed by a light dose of the Recharge the next watering, and I will likely alternate between the two, supplementing once every few waterings. Also started feeding her some kelp. I can’t decide whether or not to defoliate yet. I’m going to look into it since defoliation in flower is controversial but even though I am okay with it I do not know about transition week.

It’s week two of flower! She is doing a fine job. Now that she’s stretching a lot more I’ve decided to defoliate to give the lower canopy some more light, while also adding further definition to the tops shooting up as opposed to being one large bush I added a plastic trellis but stretched it over a frame I built from dowel rods and 3D printed connectors to make it more sturdy.

Week 3 out of the way... she hasn’t stretched very much, which is expected for Cinderella, so I’m almost regretting the trellis other than the added light to the center of the canopy. I hope it pays off. Nothing really to report I fed too much potassium too early on with the sweet candy... oops. Cindy is resilient, though. She took it like a champ. I can’t wait for her to bulk up.. I’m just too excited, she probably would have stretched more and made more room for bulk if I didn’t feed too many bloom nutes! Oh well

Not sure about doing any defoliation. Lots of small leaves and there will be good amounts of scraggly larf in the undercanopy. I guess I can keep better on top of it next time, feels a little late. I kind of hate the trellis. I can’t do anything with my plant except water it. she doesn’t even *need* the trellis, but i reason that it will help with support later in flower. All in all, not much to report. Buds are gonna do some swelling here in the next week or two.

Buds are fattening. She’s really starting to smell a lot. I didn’t expect this much aroma from Cinderella 99. It’s like a funky mango sort of fruity smell. Really appealing. I didn’t take many pics or do much of anything; she’s drinking a lot, sometimes I’m giving her a little fresh water to keep the medium from drying out inbetween feeds. She’s enjoying life right now, im kind of using this as a baseline sort of grow to measure my initial capabilities, so I don’t want to change too many things or dive too deep into advanced techniques. I definitely want to improve from here.

I think I skipped a week in the journal but I don’t have any photos to show for it... life got busy. We had to move and set up the tent in a new location. She is fine, all settled in now, here are a few photos of her 7th week of flowering.

Week 8 of flower is over with. I took a lot more pictures this week because I’m settled in. She’s just getting pH’d tap water right now to finish off, and I’m letting the pot get really dry to stress her out, there should be some correlation with the resin development as a result. I’ve also been letting it get really cold in the room, and it’s quite dry most of the time around 35% RH. The buds are feeling hard to the touch and I can tell there is tons of resin. it looks like the trichomes production really ramped up this past week or two. I’m hoping she only has another week to go, but I’ve seen people grow some phenos out past 70 days so we will see. The tent stinks. I actually had to buy a carbon filter because of how much she smells. Funky mango gas and skunk.

Week 9 went by and I believe she’s still not ready. We’re here at 65 days today on my day of writing this and she hardly has any amber on her calyxes, if any. I watered with distilled for the 2nd half of week 9 flower, elevating the plant and allowing the runoff to pool separately. will continue until harvest She smells soooo good, honestly stinks more than I thought she would The nugs seem really dense and, well, they should be, she’s a short plant and the light was super intense for the grow size. I’m really excited to harvest and cure this. I will most likely unplug the lights today after her cycle finishes and leave her for two days of dark before I chop.

she actually went for just about 10 whole weeks of flower. I’m chopping her at 69 days, as I write this, but I will post relevant photos in a harvest update after it’s dried and weighed. I watered with only distilled since the last update, and starved her of water and RH in hopes of increasing last minute the resin and trichomes production. Flushed with more distilled and after a few more days turned the lights off for two days of darkness. The next update will have the result.

Overall the only problems I had with her are due to being a new grower. Ultimately I harvested almost a quarter pound in a 2x2 with a short and stout little clone... I’ve moved on to bigger and better things now with more space and more plants, and am excited for the future. This Cinderella 99 has inspired me and assured me I can take care of myself. The smell is very reminiscent of jack herer. Sharp and mildly fruity with some funk behind it. Aside from the ~92g of smokable flower I got ~5g of kief sifted from the trimmings. the kief is really nice smelling and so sticky that it has formed a puck and some balls naturally in the container and is like moon sand to play with.
