It's the last few days for Purple Punch x Lemon Drizzle. I think I'll be able to harvest her early next week. The smell is lemony, and the buds slowly take on the shape of a lemon 🍋🍋🍋

Ok folks, gunna be one armed for another 6 weeks so I'm just the conductor the true heroes will go unseen. Everything is alive atleast, had a scare yesterday as things got so dried out everything went limp but an hour after feed turned back around. Noticed some yellowing and other coloring coming thru on alot of leaves so I bumped ppm up a little bit this last feed. They dont look like they have a deficiency, it's weird, they look beautiful but with a premature fade almost. I really like Green Buzz' line up/regiment I just have to dial it in which isnt easy since it's a multi strain crop and various size plants. It's very easy to use and makes me feel good knowing it's not poison. Did a minor leaf strip around the tent just to make things fit better. I'll copy and paste this to the diaries for the rest of the crop per usual but go into a little more detail on each plant individually. Pics and vids were taken on day 28 of flower. I'm trying to keep up with these as best I can from start to finish, the flip date was 6.10.19, today is 7.9.19. They are both coming out great, little yellowish/lite green but still look good. They both have a much better bud structure than the 1st pheno I grew out looks like theyll fatten up nicely. Havnt smelt them yet but the frost is real on both of them. Trop Cherry #8 x BeeJayz hasn’t been topped, I transplanted the girls this week from a 1 gallon pot to a 3 gallon pot. Trop Cherry was in a plastic pot but now in a fabric pot. Plants seem to be growing well.

Well I was gone for 10 days and came back to absolutely astronomical growth! Must of grown a foot and a half at least! No signs of pistils yet, which means she's got another foot even before the pre flower stretch! What the heck have I gotten myself into. Did some minor defoliating, mostly removing growth tips below the 4th or so node, and LST clips to try and control height and canopy. All she had while I was done was 90min drip irrigation every 3 days and a quick spray of LCPT.

Wie auch bei der guava runtz, Zucker Zucker Zucker! Ebenfalls sieht es hier langsam so aus als würde sich der Stretch dem Ende neigen. Die guava sunday ist eindeutig luftiger und hat viel viel mehr kleinere untere Triebe im Gegensatz zu der runtz. Das das wird mir auch beim entlauben und lollipoppen sehr viel Arbeit bescheren aber die Arbeit wird sich lohnen. Faszinierend ist aber dass die beiden total unterschiedlich im TerpenProfil sind. Die runtz kommt eindeutig stark fruchtig daher mit subtilen untern Tönen. Während hier die sunday mit einem sehr cremig erdigen Profil daherkommt und er mit subtilen Reifen guava untertönen unterlegt. Vielleicht sogar leicht skunkig? Ich bin auf die Ernte und auf die erste Verkostung gespannt bei dieser Unterschiedlichkeit schon allein vom Profil her. 🤤

In future I must take not that lamb’s Breath can thrive in cold conditions, but I am going to witness if the growth will accelerate or just level out with the coming of spring. Week 6 starts with a mild weather but in a couple of days a cold front makes land fall in Jozi and the last brought snow, but my babies survived and look at the love of my life, showing aggression when it comes to growth… I wonder if the transplant and the extreme cold will hinder growth, nature does miracles in front of us on a daily. She’s loving the compost mix, hopefully she will love her new home, if my calculations are right, all I have to do is only add nutrient only when I defoliate. The amount of nutrients in this medium is boardline toxic.

This was an amazing experience for my first grow. Was super unsure of what I was going to yield, but I think 27 grams is a realistic harvest and Im looking forward to see if I can get bit larger of a yield on the next run. I want to try main-lining, see for better energy distribution and more equal bud growth. Also investment into a proper reflector and possibly enclosed space. Note- I trimmed my plant the night before harvest morning. I removed than fan leaves to start, and then proceeded to trim the plant. I pulled out a lot of the leaves with no frost by hand. The sugar leaves had so much crystal on it I thought I would leave the smaller ones on the bud. I gave it a light trim, and used all the trim to make Isopropyl Alcahol (99%) based extract. Got about 1 gram from the run. I also had a nice little ball of finger charas from the trimming. I harvested it in the morning at about 04:30 am before the light cycle triggered at 7am. She hung and dried for about a week, where I then chopped her into buds. She cured for 2 weeks before i started smoking. Ask anything you want to know! Or if I can be more clear on any areas of the grow! One Love!

🌱 Week 3 – End of Vegetative Stage 10/04 (Day 22): Watered with 500 ml at pH 5.7, EC 1300. Solution included 2.5 ml/L CalMag + 1.4 ml/L Coco A + 1.4 ml/L Coco B — Deeper Underground removed from the mix starting today. Runoff measured EC 700, pH 7.0. Considering removing a few fan leaves to allow more light penetration to the lower branches. 10/05 (Day 23): No watering today — pots still heavy and moist. The tips of new leaves are showing a very light green to yellowish color. Planning to start micronutrient supplementation directly in the nutrient solution in two days. Plants continue stretching rapidly; one grew 4 cm in the last 24 hours. Roots are now protruding through the fabric pots, indicating full root colonization. 10/06 (Day 24): Pistils visible on all plants — flowering will begin next week 🌸. Tried increasing light intensity to 20k lux, but plants showed stress, so it was reduced again. Still not obtaining reliable results with the lux meter, so I’ve ordered a PAR meter to better control light levels. Watered with 1 L of the same solution as Day 22. Runoff EC rising slightly to 750, pH stable at 7.0. Week 3 Summary — End of Vegetative Stage Strong vegetative finish: vertical growth continued steadily, some plants growing 4 cm in 24 h. Root zone fully colonized — roots visible through the fabric pots. All plants showing pistils → clear sign of transition to flowering. Light management tricky this week; stress appeared above 20k lux. PAR meter ordered for better control. Nutrient mix stable at EC 1300 (2.5 CalMag + 1.4 A/B). Deeper Underground discontinued. Runoff EC ~ 700–750, pH ~ 7.0 → substrate still buffered high, but plants adapting well. 🌼 ➡️ Plan for Week 4 – Flowering Week 1 Nutrients: Transition feed: keep CalMag at 2.0–2.5 ml/L, A/B around 1.4–1.6 ml/L. Introduce bloom additives gradually (PK boosters or bloom A/B if applicable). pH: Keep irrigation at 5.6–5.7 to slowly bring substrate down from 7.0. EC: Increase gradually toward 1400–1500 µS/cm as flowers initiate. Lighting: Use PAR meter to maintain 300–400 µmol/m²/s (~15–18k lux) during transition. VPD: Raise to 1.0–1.2 kPa for better transpiration and nutrient flow. Defoliation: Light removal of large fan leaves if necessary to expose lower sites. Observation: Watch for stabilization of new growth color and confirm consistent pre-flowering on all plants.

As you can see she in now in full flower. She is already starting to frost up a little. I really hope she stretches soon. I expect either this week or next. Day 38 - She didn't even stutter after her major defoliation. I also adjusted some of the lst to open it a bit more. I'm really hoping for a stretch real soon.
