🌱 Sour Diesel — Week 7 From Seed (Week 2 Flower) Quick Recap (for context) This Sour Diesel has had a tougher road compared to the rest of the room. Earlier in the cycle, she was hit by a combination of: • Colder external temperatures • Environmental instability during early development • Slower initial adaptation compared to her sisters She never fully enjoyed the colder phase, and recovery has been slow but steady, not explosive. This update reflects a plant that is stabilizing, not one that is racing. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day temperature: ~28 °C (successfully raised and now stable) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on height and position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm (now stabilizing around ~909 ppm) As outside temperatures remained low, the room naturally became its own heat source due to: • Increased plant mass • Higher light intensity • Addition of under-canopy lighting No forced heaters. No extremes. Just letting the system balance itself naturally. 🌬️ Airflow • Vortex extraction • Multiple cross-flow fans • Constant, gentle air movement No leaf chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear transition phase. • EC: ~2.4 • pH: 6.5 (now transitioning downward — all feeds moving toward 6.0+) Why a Slightly Higher pH Right Now? As plants enter early flower, demand shifts: • Improved Ca / Mg uptake • Stronger P & K availability • Increased root activity A slightly higher pH during this moment supports: • Structural development • Flower initiation • Stability under higher PPFD and CO₂ Nutrient Transition • Terra Grow → flowering nutrients • Supporting the hormonal shift from stretch → stack • Minor signs of possible Ca/Mg demand observed → already being addressed → nothing severe or alarming (Reference images included above for transparency.) ⸻ 🌸 Flowering Progress & Current State She is flowering — slowly, which is expected after stress. Important clarification: • Week 7 from seed • Week 2 of flower This slower pace is not a failure — it’s a recovery-driven transition. She’s prioritizing balance before expression. Leaves are not “happy” in the Instagram sense, but they are: • Responsive • Stable • Not deteriorating That matters more right now. ⸻ 🌍 Seasonal Reality Outside conditions remain harsh: • Temperatures around 4–5 °C • Humidity consistently 90%+ • Full winter conditions The room itself is stable and dialed. The rest of the garden is thriving under these conditions. Because of that: • We are not changing the whole room for one plant • Instead, Sour Diesel receives extra attention and care • The environment remains optimal for the majority of the crop Adaptation goes both ways — plants and growers. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect (and What Not to) What we expect: • Continued stabilization • Gradual stacking over the coming weeks • Expression that comes late, not loud What we don’t expect: • Explosive stretch • Perfect symmetry • A “pretty” early flower phase This phase is critical because it determines: • Whether the plant commits energy to survival or production • How much it can realistically give later on Right now, the goal is completion, not competition. ⸻ 🙏 Closing Thanks Huge thanks to: • The genetics creators • The nutrient partners • The GrowDiaries platform for providing a space where growers can document, learn, and interact • The community — OGs, newcomers, supporters, skeptics, lovers, haters — all part of the journey Growing is adaptation. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Week 5: Comeback Queen 👑🍍 The relief I felt this week is immeasurable. My pineapple is BACK! Not only has she recovered from the snail attack, but she's thriving. She's getting bushy, pushing out new leaves and reaching for the sky. I knew she had it in her. Given her impressive height, I decided it was time for some strategic intervention. FIMming to encourage even more branching, defoliation to let the light reach those lower leaves, and some gentle LST to keep her shape in check. She took it like a champ. The best part? I took some of those trimmed branches and dipped them in cloning gel. Fingers crossed for some pineapple babies! This girl is a fighter, and I have a feeling her offspring will be just as resilient.

best cannabis I ever grew and smoked. Others agree. This is a cup winner I would win with no competition. 3 months harvested, 90% consumed. Will run more genetics and future cross, backcross. Feels like energy drinks, positive, 100% youre high and lit, extreme ripped. Smell is slight citrus, this is very sweet tasting and smelling because of my methods of growing. Oozing sticky like an industrial adhesive. Daytime smoke, ripped no couchlock. For heavy daily smoker this is above your level of comprehension, good luck finishing 0.5g session. 10/10 all categories. 4 months after harvest video macro, this is what 40% looks like

The wait is finally over, I harvested on 07/01/25. Dried very slowly for almost 2 weeks inside the tent at 60% humidity and 18 - 21 °C. Smells very sweet, it reminds me strongly of the Purple Punch. Only in direct comparison, the Purple Punch leans more to berries while the GSC leans more to something, I can't smell out. But very tasty.

Good evening my friends. White stigmas began to appear in the third week. Give her banana water or a light fertilizer for aquarium plants.

FBT2211 grew well. Nice frosty, smelly, dense buds from looks of it. Had minor issues during growth, but nothing that was serious. The Viparspectra P4000 light did a great job. Thank you Viparspectra, and Fast Buds for the tester. 💪❄️🌱 Thank you grow diaries community for the likes, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel. 🍻🌱👍 Happy Growing 🌱 https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g

***Attention*** Please note that if you only read my entries at the beginning of each week, I try to post pictures daily, with note updates as well. ******************************************************************************************************* Feb 24, 2018: I've decided to have a positive outlook on this grow, despite all the errors I made, and problems unstable genetics provided me. Though my crop is heavily seeded, the trichome production seems on point, I should end up with some decent smoke. It's a humbling lesson to learn, don't relax your attention at all, these wonderful plants are capable of extraordinary things when improperly motivated. I’m excited to pop some Nirvana seeds in a couple months but until then I’ll try to get the most from this crop. ... Feb 23, 2018: Just another day, might just do straight water feeding the next few in a row since I'm finally seeing some tip burn. Considering I've been going pretty hard with the solution ppm i'm surprised I've not seen burn before, I started in FFOF so soil was hot from the start. ... Feb 22, 2018: Super depressing news folks, it seems my crop seeding is more extensive than previously thought. I am just disappointed in myself for not catching the plant throwing sacks earlier. Even after countless hours researching, it seems that once again I am doomed to learn through experience. hopefully these seeds mature and then finish the buds so I can harvest. I knew the risks of growing bag seed and am not paying for it. Can't wait to start the next round. My next round will be seeds from Nirvana, their AK-48 and Aurora Indica. ... Feb 21, 2018: Did a bit more staking, with that thick canopy of branches was hard to see a few branches drooping. Managed to bend/break a branch with a golf ball sized bud, not sure if the stalk will heal itself this far into flower, but I clothes pinned it straight and will monitor. still seeing lots of clear and no amber, still a ways to go. Tested a lower bud on the plant that got heavily seeded and found the high quick, and just a hair racy but much better than the first tester a couple weeks ago. Only have taken 2 buds for testing 2 weeks apart, being this is my first grow I wanted to experiment and see how the high changes as the flowers mature. ... Feb 20. 2018: Watered with 6.5PH RO water with 2mL/gal Cal-Mag. Nothing much else to comment on, just watching the buds grow. One plant is going to be finishing much earlier than the others, not sure what to do about that since i was plannig on using my grow tent as my drying area. More colas are starting to lean, as of now they are propped up by the canopy, but will probably have to stake a few eventually. Getting a few orange hairs, which i've read can indicate less than 3wks to go, which makes sense as that would be almost 8 weeks flowering. Im not making any decision based on time, as the plant will let me know when it's ready, but knowing when to start my water only feeds is helpful. ... Feb 19, 2018: Alrighty guys, girls, and zimzers we are staring week 12 from seed and we are 32 days since first sign of pistils. I am now feeding full flowering nutrients (Fox Farm Tiger Bloom) and the girls seem to really like it, I've seen no evidence of leaf tip burn, to avoid burn in an all soil grow I'm increasing the nutrient concentration gradually, waiting at least 3-waterings before increasing from last watering. I've only had to stake up 2-3 top cola's, as the plant they are on is in front and doesn't' have as much support from surrounding plants. Although these plants were grown from seeds form the same bud, the different phenotypes are generating vastly different smells. I try to bump and move the plants as little as possible, every time I move anything the air is filled with a musky greasy and sometimes fruity pungent odor! **As a side note, I would like to point out that I have done almost no defoliation, the under canopy you see has developed naturally due to the plants dropping fan leaves as necessary. I have done some pruning of lower flowering branches, but these branches contained no fan leaves, only resource draining under canopy bud sites and branches.**

The plants LOOK good, but I made a big mistake when LSTing the plants, and some leaves got cuts, and 1 branch on both of the plants snapped off entirely :( I stopped LST entirely for the time being. Am considering getting another 1000w (132w actual) led identical to my current one. Growing in a 2x2 shower so I'm still 70 actual watts under what I should have based on the 50x area rule. Thoughts? They seem to be bouncing back well, though I'm definitely keeping a close eye on them. I started adding nutes last week (1/3 of recommended quantity) and everything seems to be looking good -- I noticed that growth significantly expanded, and there doesn't appear to be any negative side effects. I upped it to half the recommended dose today. Fingers crossed! It looks to me like plant #2 might be starting to flower, and maybe even plant #1 as well. Can anyone see what I'm talking about and let me know? Much obliged!

♡ December 7/2020 ♡ Flipped to flower 12/12 yesterday, so they had their first full day and are soooo happy. This has been a weird week for them, I really have to keep an eye on them because they get so fkn thirsty. ♡ I fed 6ml M/G/B on Thursday and molasses, then by Saturday they were dry and droopy, so kicked it to 8ml M/G/B , 4L total water for the 3 girls. ♡ I'm trying really hard to stick to this schedule and hope that my results will be worth it. ♡ Anyways, that's all from me! Keep it sleezy and stay safe. 👽

Greeting growfessors! Today the SLH was moved to the 4x4 flowering room and flipped to 12/12 light cycle. She did not dry out completely from last week's feeding, so I'll leave her as is for this week and start with th flowering nutes next week. Thanks for looking! 👽🌳

Start of week 4 for White Widow Defenetely has that indica ciompact structure! Gave her an extra 25g of Bio Grow + 25g of Bio Bloom, as shes such a big plant for this pot size already. Not doing anymore defoliation as recommended by the greenhouseseedco team👊
