REVIEW - Runtz (fem., photo.) from Zamnesia: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ The seeds from Zamnesia germinated rapidly, rooted strongly, went wild in veg, and produced an ample amount of high-quality medicinal flower. The diary speaks for itself on that front so this space will be more of a phenotype review. The plants were labelled A, B, and C from left to right respectively in photos. A and B were the 'clasicaly-appearing' sativa-esque leaves while C was the more 'indica-appearing' phenotype. Although A and B appear the same qualitatively, they did produce substantially different amounts of flower (despite their DLI being near max out for the entire tent footprint without supplementing CO2, so I do not think just being in the middle attributed to this). Past their different yields, A and B also have vastly different profiles. A is a classic gelato/ice cream cooler/Z terps, and my personal favorite of the plants (wish I had taken a clone of this one instead). B is the most on point for what I think of with Runtz, classic Z terps but with a slight tropical/rotten/sweetness to it. C had the misfortune of being ready to chop a little earlier than the other girls so her profile is mostly just spicey kush now. I did observe intersex flower sites but given the entire context of the diary and how the plants performed, I have to assume it was user error. No pollination observed in any of the flowers, as zero additional intersex sites occurred. The distinction between A, B and C is what I would expect from a typical F1 cannabis seed. I do not enjoy growing from seed much but these girls were manageable. Add to that the relative stability of the genetics for a Runtz recreation, and well, these are good quality beans for a great price. Not only is Zamnesia responsive and available, their confidence speaks volumes. How many vendors would have an in-house Runtz, knowing how much of a genetic-gravity-well it is in, and be confident enough to let ~200 randos grow it and show it? REVIEW - Green Sensation from Plagron: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ I enjoyed using the green sensation, the NPK values on it make it versatile in application and a power-house in flower. I can't say I noticed anything better or dramatically improved, although comparing to Heavy 16 and asking for a marked improvement is big ask in my opinion. What I was able to do was seamlessly integrate the Green Sensation into my current routine. The additive stayed homogenous, was easily introduced into solutions with no adverse impact to the water contents or pH. Most importantly, the plants enjoyed the additive and it did accomplish the main goal of being able to wane off your primary line. In this respect, by using Green Sensation I was able to save resources by lowering my Heavy 16 inputs across the board approximately 50% and supplementing with Plagron's Green Sensation.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. The Strawberry Banana Auto is doing well, she is almost done stretching and I have almost fully transitioned her to flower nutrients. She is currently getting silica, cal mag, and 75/25 veg and flower nute mixture of GH maxigrow/maxibloom. I did change the Medic grow spectrum to the F1 spectrum this week which is the flower spectrum. I am also running the UV/IR bar for about 75 minutes every day before lights off, and I now have the light cranked up to 100%. I will also increase the exposure to the UV/IR light as flower progresses. As she is almost done stretching, there is not much to do this week except keep the reservoir clean, full, and in the proper PH range. If any colas get crazy higher than the others I will correct, but other than that she can do her thing from here on out. 04/01/21 Amazing colours have came through during cure showing off her red and purple! And she’s frosty all over and tastes like a tropical dream!mango pineapple tones with a side of lime! Week 8 Veg – Go Big or Go Home! 🌱💪 Hey, Grow Fam! 🌿 What an intense week it’s been in the grow room! This was one of those “go big or go home” moments, and I decided to take it to the extreme. I’m holding off on flipping to flower for just one more week because the plants are filling up the space beautifully—I can’t help but push things to their limits and see just how much these ladies can give! 😎✨ This week was all about maximizing growth and creating the best canopy I can. I did a light defoliation, just here and there to open things up a bit, and then came the bending—LOTS of bending. 🌱 I’m working hard to create an even canopy, though with all these different genetics, we’ll see how close I get! 🤞 Regardless, I’m giving it my all, and I’m super pumped to see how everything will respond in the next stage. The final touch this week? I ended it with a bold 36 hours of darkness to prepare for the big flip next week—flower mode, here we come! 🌸 What Went Down This Week: 1. Canopy Work – Bending and training all over the place to try and keep things even. It’s a real challenge with different genetics, but the payoff is going to be worth it! 2. Defoliation – Just a little bit of leaf removal here and there to help with airflow and light penetration, prepping them for that final veg stretch. 3. 36 Hours of Darkness – Closed out the week with a full day and a half of darkness. The 36 hours of darkness is a technique I like to use to help signal to the plants that it’s time to transition from veg to flower. 🌒 By giving them an extended dark period, I’m mimicking the natural shift from summer to fall, when daylight hours start to shorten. This kick-starts the plants’ flowering hormones (phytochrome), helping them shift into flower mode more smoothly and quickly. In my experience, this method helps speed up the flip, reduces early flowering stress, and often leads to a more uniform bloom across the canopy. Week 5: Flower - Different Strokes for Different Folks 🌸 Currently vibing to: Larry June - Smooth Kind 🎵 We're deep into flower now, and the girls are teaching me one of growing's most important lessons—even sisters from the same genetic line have their own unique needs. Individualized care is the name of the game. Apple Fritter & Lemon Cherry (Right) - Still Hungry! Despite last week's top dress, these two are showing signs they want MORE. Sometimes plants just have bigger appetites, and that's okay—we adjust and keep moving. Last Week's Feeding: Top Dress: Equal parts (1 tbsp each) Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4 Roots Organic Terp Tea Bloom (direct feed) Supplement: Growganica Incredible Kelp (for bulking support) The Reality: They're still looking a bit hungry—lighter green than ideal, possibly showing early signs of nitrogen or micronutrient deficiency as they push through flower. This Week's Plan: Direct liquid feed with Roots Organic Terp Tea Bloom for faster nutrient availability Another top dress to build the soil reserve back up The combination should give them both immediate and sustained nutrition Sometimes you've got to hit them from both angles—quick-acting liquid feeds AND slow-release top dressing. Lemon Cherry (Left) - The Thriving One Meanwhile, her sister is absolutely GLOWING. Lush, deep green leaves, vigorous bud development, and zero signs of deficiency. She's the poster child for what these plants should look like right now. Her Schedule: Same feeding as the others last week The Difference: Could be phenotype variation, root mass differences, or just plain old plant personality. This is why we observe each plant individually rather than treating the whole garden as one unit. Feeding Plan: Keep her on the same schedule—if it ain't broke, don't fix it. She'll get the kelp supplement but may not need the aggressive feeding the others require. Hey everyone, quick update on my Hulk in living soil! It’s growing like crazy, and I’m starting to get a bit concerned it might get too big once the flowering stretch kicks in 😅. Other than that, I’ve just been watering occasionally and adding some beneficial microorganisms . I’m thinking in about 1-2 weeks, I’ll switch to 12/12.

Beginning of week 2! Flowering is progressing nicely. All plants have been sexed. Ended up being 11:11 female:male. Can't complain Already got some stud males picked out from the hash plants and the Zed blacks. Rainbow belts f3 had one male and 2 female. The females appear to have two smells but identical looking growth. Tall and thin leaves. Little stretch. The male is short and stocky. No stretch at all. I have stopped feeding since I saw slight nitrogen toxicity in several plants. I've marked that they are more sensitive which is something I view positively in a no till living soil situation as long as the flowers can back them up. To control my water pH I am using 12% humic acid and highly fermented kombucha that is practically vinegar. Not great for the overall microbe population in the kombucha but good for lowering a 9+pH solution that comes out of my tap. I am pitching recharge in about .5tsp/gal as well. Plants are looking good. I have noticed that the Zed black is growing better under lower humidities. I have my lights off during the day in order to reduce the humidity load on my plants. At night when humidity spikes I'll rely on the LED light to burn off a lot of the humid air. However if I had watered recently, which is becoming every other day at this point, the humidity with remain high for awhile. I have now added a dehumidifier. It's been helping a lot and ZB is doing better. Update 1.5 week Flowers are stacking. Mostly in the males lol. But the female bracts are starting to swell. Now onto the stem rubs HP: WOW. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I cannot tell if I hate this with a deep passion or I'm just wanting to grow it out for morbid curiosity. Smells like nail polish remover plus sulfur. I would feel bad giving this to someone because it smells so bad. Had a few that smell more like a freshly opened can of tennis balls that I dig. ZB: very strong pinene smells. Earthy and spicy. Little bit of citrus. Nothing out of the ordinary. Grown many hash plants and this a quintessential example Rainbow belts 3.0: I got a zkittles pheno with classic flavor. Fruit. But with a slight rotten citrus undertone that gives it a little character. Another one is pure pine sol. 100% pine sol. I do honestly love this flavor. Will be using both for seed making. The male is lemon lime candy. Will be pollen source.

Welcome to my Garlic Cookies Diary sponsored by Pure Instinto. Last wk 13 Ripening SF-1000 Days 92-98 Flower Day 26-32 flowering 50 or so Days. With IR every wk until the last. The process sped up by a 1.5/2 wks with 70hrs extra light over those 40 days. 1.5 during pre and 2 hrs up until now. Only when I check the trichs at the start of the wk. I seen how ripe was. As I was going off pistils and by breeder days rec for flowering. Not taking into account how much faster IR adds to your extra DLI. buds are rock hard. Not huge. But man, they're like rocks. Flushed last wk. And she threw herself into end of life. So, she a holding on. She was on heavy syns at the end of her life and finishers that have, have to be washed from the bud. I put under my SF1000 the last few days. To soften the blow she was getting from such a high co2/temp environment last wk. She was given a hard flush the start of this week. Myth about flushing or not. The stuff I was using. YOU HAVE TO FLUSH, so, she's been on water the past week. And believe it or not. I flushed the 1st time. Got it down to my tap ppm by 20L and threw the top on for good mes. Day 94 when she dried out. Ran 1L through her. Ppm was 600. Reflushsed, and only the last few days. Her leaves are given in. There's still nutrients left though. She got tested was still 250 yesterday. So, flushed again. And she's getting pult in a few hrs. As always. My diaries will be a few weeks behind so I can get a cure and test. And only then do I fairly rate. Thanks to Pure Instinto. And to all who viewed this diary. Much appreciated to the light provider Mars-Hydro, was a pleasure. And good results. Buds are rocks. Not huge. But rocks. A GRADE for sure. Won't have any shrinkage concerns here. Harvested Decided to pull her. She's fully done. Took the 2nd set of her nodes, rough trim & put to quick dry with the plant itself hang drying in shit weather 19-21.5c so she got fully watered before harvest and the RH is kept high at 65-70 to prolong the dry. There is a risk of mold. But with the heat an contest air exchange, its unlikely. Has a lovely cookies sweet smell with a bit of dankness. Also, a floweree smell. Which will go when dried. Really glad so far, even with my high temperatures, now knowing how to dry in summer, I've yet to get any hay smell, (signs the dry went badly against your quality of bud) can be rid of in a long cure but, and early signs of it. Still has an affect on strength. Read the process as something breaks down for it to get like that. And once it happens, there's no getting the potency level back. But, the smell yes. After 2-4 months, depending on the servaity of the hay smell. Here, I'm not sure what will happen yet. I will flush every single girl with 15l water plus canna flush And then water with terpinator only for another 12 days and happy harvest :) can not wait. she has 79 days since her germination ... with patience to see her potential ... she is growing well taking a little smell ... and her shoots growing very well ... although I am struggling with bortritys....because I had some tomatoes ... I removed them from my plants .... from this week I start to feed them with red guano for their flowering as well as I will continue with earthworm humus every 10 or 14 days ...

Set in water for about 36 hours then transferred it to something. I was a little moist, but not too wet for about four more hours. Germinated perfect perfectly no issues ready to go into soil.
