Hey there! Welcome to this diary! I made it easy back in 2021. Sorry in advance for the Spanish audio. For my germination method I always use both the glass of water and the paper towel. Let me explain, the glass of water only goes for 6 to 12 hrs, it's just a soak that also contains 3-4 drops of hydrogen peroxide, this way we kill all pathogens that the seed may have on the outside. Then to a warm, moist and dark place with the paper towel, this seed sprouted pretty fast using this method. Then, once it has that tiny mouse tail of it goes to the pot, I keep it moist by putting a transparent cup upside down. Just to keep the dates, it just took from the 17th to the 19th to go from the cup with water, to the paper tower, to the soil, AND SPROUT!!

Intermediate Results Overview This grow was intense! Setting up the grow consumed so much of my time and focus that I started slacking at work, and it took me a month to get back on track. But hey, whatโ€™s the point of a job if it gets in the way of growing? ๐Ÿ˜‰ In the end, everything worked out, and I gained invaluable experience. This was my first grow using coco coir. At first, I didnโ€™t get it, but then it just clicked! Now Iโ€™m hooked: "Iโ€™m here to stay." Coco is more controlled than soil, flushes easily, and you can introduce beneficial microbes, which thrive in it. My main takeaway from this grow? If you buy coco, donโ€™t forget CalMag! Next time, Iโ€™ll definitely install HEPA filters at the intake. The amount of dust was insane, and the grow box pulls air like a vacuum cleaner. Watching the timelapse, you can see the box sucking in every bit of dust. I vacuumed the intake filters weekly. The plant was incredibly sticky, but that also meant it caught a lot of lint and fibers between trichomes, especially visible under a microscope. Smoking microplastics? No, thank you! --- On CO2 CO2 only works if everything else is dialed in. If the plant experiences stress from deficiencies or overfeeding, you can forget about it. Since CO2 supplementation requires turning off the exhaust fan, itโ€™s hard to manage temperature and humidity. The plant releases so much moisture that RH jumps to 80% within minutes. Itโ€™s doable, but definitely a challenge. --- On Magnetic Fields No clue whatโ€™s happening here yet, but itโ€™s fascinating! Iโ€™ll test again with a control sample. --- Nutrients Dreams do come trueโ€”Iโ€™ve tested almost everything Advanced Nutrients offers. It wasnโ€™t all smooth sailing; their feeding charts need adjustments for your conditions, and you usually need to feed less than recommended. Overall, Iโ€™d say the nutrients performed 100%, and I see no reason to switch. Iโ€™ll stick with them for future grows. --- Strain This strain is reliable, though not the most productive. It flowered exactly as advertised and delivered a frosty finish. It tolerated all my mistakes like a champโ€”especially mold. Despite an abandoned SCROG plan turning the plant into a bouquet, there wasnโ€™t a single mold spot, even in the densely packed lower buds that got almost no light. Zero mold issues! --- Aroma As advertised: pine, wood, and citrus. At first, I thought it smelled like grapefruit, but now Iโ€™m leaning toward bergamot. Bergamot with a classic weed aromaโ€”a recognizable twist on the usual scent. During the grow, the smell was strong, but the carbon filter handled it perfectly. --- Flavor Itโ€™s too early to say, but the flavor is definitely there! Embarrassingly, all my past harvests tasted the sameโ€”like nothing. Just smoke. This one has a distinct sour taste. Iโ€™m excited to see how it develops after curing. --- Effect Too early for a full review, but I love what Iโ€™ve tried so far. The high lasts about three hours, with euphoria and relaxation. Itโ€™s the perfect evening strain. Iโ€™ve smoked a lot over the years, but Iโ€™ve never experienced true euphoriaโ€”until now. Guess Iโ€™ve been stuck with garbage and ditch weed before. ๐Ÿ˜… Itโ€™s not a strain for productivity or chores, but itโ€™s perfect for chilling, watching something, or chatting. No anxiety, just great vibes. It feels like having a beer after a long day: you relax, and life feels good again. --- Roots The roots were healthyโ€”maybe too healthy! While the AirPot (20L) prevented root circling, it didnโ€™t eliminate it entirely. There were dead zones at the bottom where roots circled around the perimeter. A dense root mat formed at the bottom (so dense you couldnโ€™t poke a finger through it), which likely contributed to salt buildup. Breaking through that mat required more water, and I suspect this caused EC to spike 1.5x the next day if there was no runoff. Next time, Iโ€™ll mix some pumice with the substrate at the bottom, about 3โ€“4 cm deep. --- Timelapse I only got the timelapse running after the switch to flowering, so itโ€™s not from the beginning. Still, itโ€™s an incredibly useful tool for understanding growth rates. Iโ€™ll definitely use it for future grows. Comparing yesterday to today is one thing, but rewinding a week to see how things were is game-changing. I recommend it! You can even use an old phone with a timelapse app if your camera doesnโ€™t support it by default. --- Whatโ€™s Next Iโ€™ve grown fat buds before, but Iโ€™ve always neglected curing. This time, Iโ€™m doing it by the book with full control. Drying in the grow box with RH controlled at 50โ€“60% (averaging 55%) for a slow, even dry. Temps are kept between 20โ€“23ยฐC, with frequent venting to keep it below 21ยฐC for terpene preservation. After 7โ€“10 days, when small stems snap with a characteristic sound, Iโ€™ll trim and jar them with humidity sensors. For the first two weeks, Iโ€™ll burp the jars twice daily, then reduce to once daily for the next two weeks. After that, Iโ€™ll monitor the RH sensors and adjust as needed. Iโ€™ll share the details after curing is complete. After drying, Iโ€™ll weigh the buds, take photos, and share another post in a month or two after curing to report on the flavor and aroma. For now, Iโ€™m taking a breather, fine-tuning my setup, and preparing for my next grow: Wizard Trees - Zangria S1.

Peace out โœŒ๏ธ

Itโ€™s more improved than last time. I hope I can buy fertilizers from major foreign manufacturers next time. There are relatively few resources in countries where cannabis is illegal.

SATURDAY 8/25: I prepped WW#2 for slaughter..one more good flush and a haircut. She'll have one more day in the sun, then it's a dark day and the axe. She's got a few resin leaks that I can't quite get a good picture of..looks like a drop of oil oozing out of a calyx. Makes my mouth water... Seedlings are doing well. I transplanted two of them into tall 5 gal pots and they are doing fine. EM#2 will get another nutrient douche along with EM#3 and both Candy Canes tomorrow. I'm thinking that might also be CC#1's last taste of nutes. An interesting thing about CC#2 is that while her trichromes are pretty much all cloudy and/or amber, the majority of her stigmas aren't withered...I haven't seen that before, but I've never really grown any indica genetics before this grow. CC#1 is delightfully redhaired. I jarred up WW#1 into 3 x quart jars, EM#4 into 4 x quart jars, and EM#1 into 4 pint jars (barely). Bought more quart jars later today and will rejar EM#1 tomorrow SUNDAY: I did the harvest report on WW#1, EM#1, and EM#4 today. EM#4 is now is 3 x quart jars. I harvested WW#2 today...yowsa! (see pics) I mixed up a batch of nutes for EM#3, but after a close look at everybody, I decided to start flushing CC#1, CC#2..they are both suddenly ready. 15-20% amber trichromes. They'll get a few more days in the sun before meeting their maker. I flushed EM#2 again. I'm gonna harvest her tomorrow. She's at about 25% amber trichs today! Really oozing the good stuff.. MONDAY: (queue Metallica's 'Harvester of Sorrow'..) WW#2 got the axe today and thoroughly saturated the air with her odoriferous emanations. A wondrous bouquet! The big tent is getting empty, so I rearranged the remaining girls for optimized PAR and spectra. I really need those seedlings and clones to hurry the phuk up. WW#2 is drying nice and slow in the top basket and EM#2 is now right below her in the second basket. CC#1 will be in the basket below them tomorrow...she's ready. CC#2 will also be drying in the next day or two after that. That will leave EM#3 (Bush Bitch) as the last remaining original member of this crop. Besides her, there's the Pineapple Express gift from my other diary and that's it for my bloomers. As I said before, I sure wish I had taken the fine print more seriously and believed that they'd really finish so quickly. I should have started these seedlings at least 2 weeks earlier... TUESDAY: I harvested both CC's today. They couldn't be more ripe. 68 days from seed...impressive. I just wish they had packed on a little more size in the first few weeks so that these super-sugary buds were bigger. This stuff is far more sticky and stiNky than the WW or the EM, but I'll be lucky to get 2 ounces from each of them. When you factor that in with the fact that I only got 3 of 7 to grow (one in current batch of seedlings), the taste/effect will have to be completely off the charts for me to even consider ever ordering any more of them. WEDNESDAY: I recharged 50gals of soil and have it cooking up now I gave Bush Bitch some water and will give her nutes on Friday. THURSDAY: The video I added today is the total harvested bud for this grow, minus EM#3/Bush Bitch...I'm betting she'll be 4 quart jars by herself. From right to left, it's: 3 x 1-quart jars of EM#4, 2 x 1-quart jars of EM#1, the 2 purple lidded 1-quart jars are CC#1, and the tall 2-quart jar between them is CC#2...the two red lidded 1-quart jars are WW#1, the 2.5 gallon jar is WW#2, and the 1.5 gal jar is EM#2. WW#2 was dry and went into 3 x 1-quart jars. She weighed 90g..not too bad. EM#2 is still in the biggest jar with the lid off and some bovedas. CC#1 was about 70% dry so I put it into a big jar with some bovedas and the lid open, branches intact. CC#2 was mostly dry except for her main cola. She went into a big jar after the photo shoot with the lid off and some bovedas. I feel so stupid..I had my diary listed with "published wattage" rather than actual draw wattage. My actual wattage drawn during flowering: 2000w Morsen blurple: 463w 2 x 100w Cree CXB3590: 108w 2 x 100w Citizen Clu048: 108w 4 x 12w Miracle LED: 48w 2 x 36w Higrow Deep Red LED: 48w 2 x 54w ABI Deep Red LED: 52w 3 x 1m strip LED below canopy: 27w 2 x 15.0 26w UVB: 52w 1 x 20w 3000k par38 spot: 20w TOTAL: 926w draw at the wall

My little mutt mix strain has been a very interesting, and unique grow. Huge plant tiny potter, lighter comparison pictures above. I Just started seeing a few stray amber trichromes. I will start her on just ph water in a day or two. Letting her use up what energy she has left. This was a struggle of a grow. It's a baby monster plant. I did juice her too much in flowering. We made it through, and she has some nice flowers with a fruity, and kinda earthy aroma. The next update may be a few days late, but it will be the harvest most likely. She grew great in my autoflower room under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light. I will see you soon for the chop. Thank you Mars Hydro. ๐Ÿคœ๐Ÿป๐Ÿค›๐Ÿป๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ Thank you grow diaries community for the ๐Ÿ‘‡likes๐Ÿ‘‡, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel๐Ÿ‘‡. โ„๏ธ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿป Happy Growing ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g

6.11. 2023 4:30 - It is time for a thorough flushing of the RQS genetics with osmotic water and I will use flawless finish from advanced nutrients to force the plant to absorb the remaining nutrients from the leaves. 7.11. 2023 5:00 - Careful observation of the trichomes and their coloration, I plan to harvest the plant when the trichomes start to turn amber. At the moment they seem to be slowly turning a milky colour and seem to be "filling up" 8.11. 2023 4:00 - The leaves seem to be slowly losing colour, especially in one RQS genetics the yellowing is quite pronounced. 8.11 2023 4:30 - I will try to remove all the old dead leaves and the ones that are already letting the plants go, but I will not cut any off, only the ones that can be easily removed. 9.11. 2023 20:00 - I think the trichomes are slowly filling up and harvest time is approaching with each passing day. 10.11. 2023 8:00 - I will try to participate in the competition with my 420 genetics for the best photo just for fun :) i have to take some photos with black background but for now it's just a test i will add some. 11.11. 2023 7:00 - The leaves on all plants are turning yellow but the waste water is still around 1800ppm. The odd thing is there are probably a lot of residual salts in the substrate from nutrients. Hopefully we can get as much of it cleared up before harvest. 12.11. 2023 20:00 - I'm waiting for the trichomes to turn amber. I'll be patient. Most of the trichomes are now snow white, but not all.
