I’ll give them a week and it’ll be time for some LST and a bump in nutes to maximum strength. Hoping to Bush them out and get them to about 30” before I flip the switch so that could be two weeks or a little more. Ps I’m liking these powder floraflex nutrients. Almost zero salt buildup.

And the third week of flowering is behind me, Watermelon has begun to stagnate in growth so a height of about 70 cm is the maximum it will reach. 😎 At the end of the week I did a defoliation, I removed the lower leaves and branches and some of the leaves inside the plant itself, which were already very yellow. I’m still not sure what is the cause of the brown spots and leaf decay. If it’s an excess of nutrients, then the conclusion is that Purple Punch (which keeps her company in the Box) is much more resistant than Watermelon. Another possible cause is nicotine disease, because in the plant itself, there is an opening through which air enters the Box, and if there is a lot of tobacco in the room in front, it is possible. 😟 If anyone is reading this text, and has an idea of ​​the cause of leaf decay, I ask him for advice. 🙏 The flowers develop nicely, are full of already visible trichomes and begin to take on an increasingly intense scent. 1 week from switching to 1212. Plant looks good and deserved defoliation with little banding. Looks amazing! Watering with 1 liter of water in 2 days.

Week 9! Day 65: 2L (pH6.8) + mild organic fertiliser from kitchen scraps. Remember the potato water I spoke of earlier? I blended it up with some ruined sweet peppers from the garden and some applecider vinegar & eggshell to give her one last, very diluted nutrient solution. This feed was aimed more at the soil than the plant. Bud bulking has come to a halt, she's fading. Nonetheless, I discovered some purple leaf edges on one of the buds in particular, I wonder if this might be related to nutrition or temperature. Day 67: 2L (pH6.6) + 5ml/l home-made fertiliser. I noticed I accidentally had turned off the timer on the LED, as well as left it on 20% power the entire night. I was expecting to have to disturb her lights off period to look at her, but there she was just chilling in low light conditions. Also, she seems to have no problems running on the very diluted home-made fertiliser so I'm repeating the previous feed - this time being a bit more precise on the dosage: 5ml/l. As I stated, this is more of a fertiliser for the soil microbes than herself. Day 68: Damp, no water Trichomes are still mostly clear, nothing unexpected. Patience is not my strongest virtue.

Surprisingly slow growth, but the colour on most of them looks healthy. Plant #4 might be a goner, it had problems getting out of the seed and nearly died the other day. It's likely just going to be a very weak plant. Keeping my fingers crossed though. Update #1: After getting some helpful advice from Mark at Dinafem Seeds, I transplanted the three largest ones into 7 gal smart pots and placed them outside where they will stay. The remaining two will likely head outside either tonight or tomorrow depending on the weather (these are the smallest two, #2 and #4). Update #2: As of June 2 (Day 13), all plants have been transplanted into 7 gal smart pots and will remain outside.

July 17th the plants gained a more uniformed color and more importantly my cat loves it too lol

Switched spots in tent to see if Purple Kush darkens up a bit. pH at 7 again over night, so I dropped it back down to pH 5.5 Next day Purple and Pink Kush had pH around 6, so I dropped it a little again. Is it normal for pH to change over time? Purple Kush still shows signs of getting darker leaves starting at the tips. I will give another 2 days to see if the lower pH helps. Purple Kush seems to be getting color back through out it's leaves. Not a gradual change, but blotchy dark green moving back in I hope. Pink Kush and Purple Maroc seem to enjoy the addition of a CO2 generator. I expect this time next week to have flowers on the Pink and Purple Kush. See you next week....

A great week. Healthy and strong. So I chopped her up. Loved my last go at mainlining so I figure this is the way. The 2 branches to crack a bit at the knuckle but she should be good I'll just have to support her more down the road.

Last week before leaving the plants in the dark for 2 days. I can't really wait to get the results and waiting for. Even though I've made some mistakes due to not enough time to take care of them, I am really happy my first grow.

This the first day of week 6 veg

Ok so had a lot to do this week harvested the large critcial mass to which I got 6 n half 0z from one plant so happy with that i also had a few issues with enviroment mainting right temp and humidty as been a lil issue but think all is well now so there all now on the 7 week of flower think I may push these as far as I can to maximise yield potential overall a real good plant to grow had very few issues from start to finish a top strain a deffo keeper for the garden of mothers in my opinion

Started to flush one of the 2 plants. Using pH 6.5 water without anything else. Last couple of feeds for the second one which is about 1 week behind. Have to say that despite my initial skepticism, the dark purple, almost black in the leafs has gradually appeared. Not as deep as with the autoflowers, and nowhere as sudden. The amount of crystals is much higher in these FF ones. Hopefully I don't pull any dumb mistake in the last few days so I can have a no stress dry/cure.
