Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Well harvest day is here, there was so many problems but we got it to harvest and have ended up with some great smoking buds to see us through till the next crop.... thanks again to DankLandDownUnder for sticking by with his help and also helping me plan the next grow...

So I’d like to welcome 👋👋 you all to my competition journey (well, probably — because shortly after I bought the seeds, it turned out there was no longer an option to join 😭😱). However, since the seeds were delivered straight to my door, even if I don’t end up being able to participate in the competition, I’ll simply run this grow the way I would have done for the contest.😊 So let’s start with the fact that the strain planted is Watermelon Punch Autoflower by Growers Choice. ( Why this strain? While talking with a friend on Discord, he told me he’d try this SH**T, and since there was a buy-one-get-two-seeds deal, I didn’t hesitate for a second — I said, LET'S DO IT ) . Both seeds cracked their shells and were placed into the soil so they can continue growing beautifully and healthily, ultimately producing a fruitful harvest. After just one day under a moist paper towel, the seeds were already ready to be planted — and that’s exactly what happened. Truly a very good seed stock. A photo after they emerge from the soil will be added in a few days, and then we’ll be able to move straight into a productive vegetative stage. Since social media activity will also partly count in the competition, I’d like to invite everyone to follow me on Instagram, comment on posts, like them, and engage! Hey Growmies, no major developments other then her continued swelling and ripening. Luckily I don’t have neighbors, as she has a very pungent fruity smell to her, the buds are out of this world, something i have so far only been able to achieve with Barney’s genetics. She was very thirsty this week, finishing around 5l daily. Coming week I will initiate the flush with some cannazym and ph balanced RO water.

Week 5 of flower! I have continued to light defol this week as I do throughout the life cycle. I found some pm in the tent this week. I caught it early and hit it with my go-to spray Nuke Em, and bought a fan for the undercanopy. It cleared it right up! I have backed off on nutes a bit in the past couple days. I will be feeding light every other day.

Toto kolo som zatiaľ veľmi spokojný defčatá sú spokojné a netrpia zatiaľ nedostatkami tento 3 týždeň ich bude čakať veľká zálievka 2.2 L Hnojky ostávajú 2ml na 1L, našiel som chyby a Vitamax musím dať na 1ml na liter.Jednej sa darí veľmi dobre a rastie rýchlejšie, samozrejme Ph zostáva na 5.9. Čakám, aby substrát preschol a môžem Hnojiť, pri zalievaní sa snažím postupne liať a nie všetko naraz ako nadržaný 15 ročný cápek čo má péro ako Eiffelova veža. Pridal som výrobené košíky na odtok do podtacky. Vidím mierne krútenie taco listy dal som silnejšie svietiť svetlo a je možné, že som ich popálil ale pri 2.2 L zálievky som dal Vitamax 2ml na 1l čiže som dal veľa ťažke listy môžu reagovať aj na veľa vitamaxu Plus popálenie.Čakám ako to bude ďalej. Defčata , keď už dovŕšia 20 dní svojho života zvýšim PPFD na 400 μmol/m2. Držte palce zdravý kutil.

Starting week 5... Buds are filling in and connecting. Just gave them another Weekly Top Dust.. Started seeing a little nitrogen problems so i gave them another dose of Nitrogen Boost. Just going to see how things turn out before i start to flush.. Any comments on when i should start flushing???

This strain is awesome. Had good germination rates. Trained well and filled out. Produced some amazing smelling buds. Was only ruined because another strain in the tent hermed. Otherwise it would have been perfect. So frost. Trichomes growing all over the place. Will be growing this strain in the future and still one of my favorites dispite the failure.

Since this diary started in the middle of Week 4 of flower, many of the details about how we got to that point have remained a mystery. In previous updates I mentioned how my last attempt at growing this cut resulted in a plant that outgrew my space. I had a long veg time and used a 5 gallon pot. That information allowed me to exercise caution on this grow because I knew how big this plant can get when given an opportunity. With that in mind, I only gave her 9 days after transplant from the aerocloner before moving her to the flower tent. My pervious experience dictated that this plant exhibits significant lateral branching. I top most of my plants to encourage this kind of growth, but due to the short veg time and for the sake of experimentation, I decided to not top her this time. You can see that this has resulted in a large main stem cola, but also (thanks to knowing her growth pattern) several rather large secondary colas as well. As an aside, some may look at this and wonder "yeah, but what about the yield?" I have never weighed a harvest. I grow for myself only, therefore yield is not something I concern myself with. I just don't care. I fill one quart mason jar and the rest is given away or turned into hash. My scheduling is such that I harvest approximately one plant a month; therefore I have enough smoke to last a VERY long time. While this plant will probably go 12+ weeks, with only 9 days of veg, it’s still comparable to a 10 week variety that would require a longer veg time to produce a similar yield. And, frankly, I have close to a dozen cultivars in my ‘consumable’ collection and this is the only one I reach for prior to 9 pm. She has a very clear and motivational high. Not overpowering, but I never test her ceiling, so she could get one blasted if necessary. This would also be a great plant for someone having trouble eating, because my appetite is essentially limitless when I’m smoking this. Perhaps it’s no coincidence that I have put on a few lbs since I’ve had her in my collection?
