Week 7: Flowering Stage – The Frost Factory & Bud Swelling 🦍❄️ ​Development: 🌿 We have officially advanced into Week 7 of bloom, and the Gorilla Z is turning into an absolute masterpiece. The resin production is skyrocketing—the sugar leaves and calyxes are heavily coated in a thick blanket of glittering trichomes, filling the air with a pungent, sweet, and gassy terpene profile. The buds are swelling massively, packing on dense weight and expanding in size along the strong, supportive branches. Almost all of her energy is now locked into final flower maturation and maximizing potency. 🚀📈 ​Setup & Environment: 🌡️ She continues to thrive inside her outdoor greenhouse shelter. The environment is warm and bright, allowing the plant to push its resin defenses to the absolute limit under the natural sun. Excellent passive ventilation is keeping the airflow constant around the dense flower clusters, which is vital for keeping the humidity down inside the heavy canopy during this deep maturation phase. ☀️🌦️ ​Nutrients & Water 💧 ​Watering: Consuming a steady amount of water to keep the metabolic processes active. The colas are becoming extremely heavy, compact, and sticky to the touch. The genetics are really shining through now with that legendary Gorilla frost combined with a rich, candy-like undertone. We are getting closer to the finish line, and she is looking incredibly promising! 🦍🔥

(Update: 4/20/19) Please stand by while they dry. (Update Everything is going great though! The smell is very strong now; no more cut grass smell. From looking at all three today, I believe that some of the smaller branches will be done drying and ready for trimming and weighing in a day or two. I have one guess for dry weight of Big Lemon, any other guesses?? Remember, the picture of Big Lemon hang drying looks like its two plants, but its all Big Lemon; I had to cut it off to be able to hang it. The amputated branch left of the main plant is bigger than my other two plants alone! (Update 5/2/19) Woah...Okay. So after drying the whole for about nine days, and trimming for four days, Big Lemon's dry weight SO FAR is about 430ish grams of super dense and sticky nugs. Its amazing that I got more big bud than I got popcorn nugs from such a big plant. I have one more 1/2 gal Mason Jar of untrimmed tops to finish, then I'll post pics or a vid of the weigh up and glamour shots etc.. Oh, almost forgot, Little Lemon produced about 40 grams of very nice bud. This surpassed expectations because, although it was planted on the same day as Big Lemon, it was the runt of the bunch because it got pushed out of the main tent that had all the lights and Co2 environment and everything. It spent much of late veg under a very weak light. I remember how limp it was when I gambled on it and chose to switch her over to 12/12. But it was totally worth it in the end! Alight back to work for me. Check back later today for pics, vids! (Final Update: 5219 @11:09pm PT) Its done. Its finally done! I had to trim both plants with my own two hands! So Exhausting, yet so rewarding. So above are several videos of the weighing. Grand total for Big Lemon is 14oz of prime top shelf nugs, and about 3oz of nice popcorn/LARF (they are separated as shown above in a video. Forgive me for not throwing it all together to weigh it, I spent a long, long, very long time trimming and sorting and canning the buds according to their respective grade/quality. I may add one more update to show their respective weights. Oh and little lemon produced about an 1 1/2 oz of prime nuggets and quite a bit of popcorn/LARF, which I haven't gotten around to weighing yet. So, Grand Grand total of Both Lemon OG Candy (amazing job with this beast of a strain, Philosopher seeds) is about 18.5oz, or 1lb 2.5oz for two plants; 15.6oz of which is entirely made up of top-shelf buds 😎 Damn I love SoCal, I didnt even need to run carbon filters because no one be trippin about a lil stink weed. Thanks to those for following this grow! Tell me what yall think! Cant wait to see some comments from all you growers out there. (Update: smoke review after a week or two of cure) This Lemon OG Candy had an extended veg period, about 4 months maybe a little longer, and I harvested her on day 56 of flower (recommended harvest 60-70 days) because of the size/distance to light and her root-bound problems. The results so far, a very uplifting and stimulating quality.

GMO × Triangle Mints BX – Week 14 Veg | Summer Mode, Drinking Hard She’s in full summer mode now. 125cm and still pushing, the canopy has spread into a wide, dense structure that’s starting to look exactly like what you’d want going into the back half of veg. The LST work from the earlier weeks is paying dividends — even canopy, multiple well-developed tops, good light penetration throughout. Water consumption has jumped noticeably this week, up to 5L per feed from 3L previously. She’s clearly found her root zone and is pulling hard in the warmer conditions. A good sign heading toward the solstice. Nutrients unchanged: CANNA Aqua Vega 4ml/l, CalMag Agent 1.1ml/l, Aptus Regulator 0.1ml/l. pH holding steady at 6.2, EC at 1.5 mS/cm. We’re sitting at around 16.5 hours of daylight right now with the solstice still two weeks away — she’ll stay comfortably in veg for several more weeks before the shortening days eventually push her toward transition. Plenty of time left to build the frame she needs. The coming week looks warm but with some unsettled spells — mixed sun and cloud with a chance of showers. Winds staying manageable. Heute ging der Grow zu Ende. Ich hätte wahrscheinlich noch eine Woche warten können, hatte aber keinen Bock mehr und will mein neues Autopot System zeitnah installieren. Die Pflanze sieht super aus, die meisten Sonnensegel sind schon im Laufe der letzten Wochen abgefallen. Hab Sie heute 2-3 Stunden nach "Sonnenaufgang" abgeschnitten, umgedreht und aufgehangen. Ziemlich stressfrei, wie der gesamte Grow. Bin gespannt wie viel ich ernten werde und in ca. 10 Tagen sollte es soweit sein. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit wird für die ersten 2-3 Tage auf 55% eingestellt, anschließend werde ich es schön langsam auf ~60% RLF lassen und hoffentlich in ziemlich genau 8 bzw. 9 Tagen beschneiden und einlagern können. Dann gibt es auch ein Update mit dem Gewicht. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ The grow ended today. I could probably have waited another week, but I didn't feel like it and wanted to install my new Autopot system as soon as possible. The plant looks great, most of the fan leaves have already fallen off over the last few weeks. I cut them off today 2-3 hours after “sunrise”, turned them over and hung them up. Pretty stress-free, like the whole grow. I'm curious to see how much I'll harvest and it should be ready in about 9 days. Humidity will be set to 55% for the first 2-3 days, then I'll let it go nice and slow to ~60% RH and hopefully be able to trim and store in pretty much 8 or 9 days. Then there will also be an update with the weight.

The pot with the white label is the mimosa. The smaller plant is bourbon berry.

Iam still waiting for one plant to dry. I will upload all details in 2-3 days. But what i can say is that i am happy with that strain and plants. I had nothing, only 7L pots and the sun (which was not regulaly shining well). Plus a bit of alga grow and plagron green sensation. The plants where all up to 1m high . The buds are reaaaaly sticky and frosty. I am impressed that i get no dry mouth after smoking it what is amazing haha. Cant wait to grow this strain again but in bigger pots, they should grow huge and with good quality buds.

Aug 2: Sunday Punch EV continues to be a great plant. Third week of 12 h darkness is now done and lots of nice buds are starting to form. The buds even have their first bit of frosting showing this morning. Quite hot today but it will cool off a bit tomorrow. Aug 3: started leaving plant outside again so back up to 15.5 h of daylight here now. Continuing to use far red light at dusk as a bloom booster.

What up family sorry for the late update, was out of town for the past week. Wow what a site when I opened the tent to plants that have tripled in size easily. They're just start the flower period so I'll switch the Nutrients over to Athena Bloom A & B as well as a P & K booster. They got a light defoliation before I left even though you can't tell, I'll be doing some more this week and doing a little lollipopping. All in all super excited for the flower period. This is the beginning of each week. So I flushed them and switched nutrients. They were mag deficient, nitro toxic. Not PH actually. I'm adding co2 next week after I seal the room. I think I need to back the PAR down to 800 but they are still alive and it's over half way done. How any more weeks? I thought this was a 65 day auto. Hydro in a 5 gallon pot could add up to three weeks I heard with Autos. could these go 12 weeks total?

DAY 83 - 26/05/2025 - COLHEITA First cycle results: Despite a broken branch in the third week of flowering, the harvest was 35 grams. I ended up tasting it uncured, and it was wonderful. After a month of curing, the grassy flavor has completely disappeared, maintaining a sweet tea with a hint of sour green apple. When smoking, the taste lingers with each puff, leaving a similar aftertaste in the mouth. The effects are energizing, upbeat, and creative. I've already reserved space for it in my next cycle, but this time I'll use FastBuds Afghan Kush Auto for more relaxing effects.

29/08/18 - A wee bit of light burn(Bleaching) on tips of girl #1 and #2, girl #3 is abit smaller than the others but that should change once my new light arrives next week, also got some terpinator arriving on Saturday so I’ll update then ✌️🏻 02/09/18 - unfortunately my terpinator dident arrive yesterday still a unknown ETA on that but the good news is my mars hydro 192 reflector is arriving tomorrow. 03/09/18 - new light hanging up great had to tie some of the stems to my tent post to keep them at 16” distance, still no terpinator which is guttin I’m hoping it arrives tomorrow, also got some big bud coco in the post aswell. ✌️🏻

Week 9 .......... Flower Week.........June 6 to 12, 2020 ........ Days 57 to 63 from germination She took a lot of shape this week and buds are swelling. She has reacted well with Massive and has increased her nodal spacing. Now she needs to work bulking up and filling in that spacing😀👍 A little more leaf strip at the end of the week to let more light into the middle of her. Focussed on the leaves on the inside of her and left a number of the fan leaves on the perimeter of her to help with sugar production. Her hairs have never really been long but the buds are swelling in nicely. They started off a little small but have grown a lot wider in the last week.......as expected in week 9. Starting to see some possible nutrient issues forming as she is aging and some of her leaf tips are starting to curl down a bit. Red hairs have started so we should be less than three weeks to go and guess at roughly 2 weeks to go. Will be feeding next week but that might be the end......see what the week brings. Environment has been hovering at 79 degrees and 61 percent humidity for most of the week. Yeast and sugar CO2 in use. Still feel there is going to be trade off battling the pH issues of the pots by feeding her 4.5 water and feed. I have to keep it that low to have a runoff of 6.6pH🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪 Going to start letting the pH drift higher the next couple of days though and give a couple of waterings at 5.6 to ensure she is taking up enough phosphorus and potassium. The frost coming out on this girl now but she is a little slower coming on. Anticipate the last two weeks here should see good frost coming out. Have not even really looked at it too much yet to be honest. Changed up some of the supplements this week and added in some Advanced Nutrients Big Bud and Overdrive. Always liked Overdrive and when moving the bottles had more than I realized so figured I would change it up a bit......she is already fighting pH issues so no further harm. She is a very pretty little girl and she has beautiful shape. Not bending over her top seems to have been okay for this girl. Just keeping the side branches pulled apart so the light gets done the middle to bud sites😃 Nice work Sweet Seeds.....she is looking great so far.........freaking resilient dealing with pH so high!!!!!!!!!🙏🙏 Little more detail: June 6, Day 57 VPD - 1.2 3L feed - Big Bud, Vitathrive, Rezin, Liquid Weight, Velokelp, CalMag, Dual Fuel. 1150ppm and 5.0pH.......pH little higher today. Lots of runoff as fed late last night. Keep an eye to see the result of the higher pH. Colas more defined today. Standing up nice and looking thick today. Fairly green though so keep and eye on the nute levels. June 7, Day 58 VPD - 1.2 7L water - 285ppm and 4.4pH......checking pH in medium Runoff was 580ppm with 6.8pH Hairs are whiter now and buds are wider and stacking. June 8, Day 59 VPD - 1.2 Dry out day....... She is dark and bushy. June 9, Day 60 VPD - 1.2 4L Feed - Sensizym, Rezin, Vitathrive, Liquid Weight, Massive, Terpinator, Dual Fuel. 1150ppm and 4.2pH.......pulling down a little more since last runoff number. Fair bit of runoff from the feed. Starting to fatten up a bit more.....branches are looking larger. June 10, Day 61 VPD - 1.2 3L Feed - Overdrive, Rezin. 485ppm and 4.5pH Just some supplements and feed tomorrow. Her side branches are reaching up more and increasing the nodal spacing. Now she needs to fill that gap in😃👍 Noticing a pattern with Massive and nodal spacing????? June 11, Day 62 VPD - 1.2 Dry out day....... June 12, Day 63 VPD - 1.2 4L Feed - Terpinator, Overdrive, Rezin, Vitathrive, Sensyzime, Liquid Weight, Dual Fuel. 1380ppm and 4.5pH Hitting her and Sweet n Sour harder as they get closer to the end. She is 19” tall now and 24” wide Leaf strip to increase light penetration......lots of small leaves. Tricomb production getting going now. Nice little Cannabis plant😋😋😋
