🌌 Cosmic Noodles Week 8 From Seed (Week 4 Flower — 12/12 From Seed) ⸻ How Did We Get Here? These girls have been on 12/12 from seed. No veg phase. No long structural preparation. No topping cycles. No extended shaping. They expressed themselves naturally — and we simply guided them. We are calling this Week 4 Flower based on visible floral development, even though biologically it’s Week 8 from seed. Two phenotypes. Two structural expressions. Two approaches. And this week… two very different stories. ⸻ 👑 Plant #1 — “The Big Walla” (No Test) She is exactly what a healthy plant should look like under pressure: • Deep, lush green • Aggressive bud stacking • Strong apical dominance but with lateral competition • Defoliation response? Like nothing happened. • In and out of the studio — no stress expression • Structural integrity intact She had light low-stress training, nothing extreme. Just guidance. You can see in the time-lapse frames how robust she is. She’s not surviving the environment. She’s thriving in it. This is our control plant. ⸻ Plant #2 — The Overwatering Test (Autoflower) Now the real talk. This plant was intentionally overwatered. She was left sitting in runoff water for approximately 36 hours. Immediate reaction. Within that window: • Drooping leaves • Loss of turgor pressure • Slowed metabolism • Oxygen deprivation at root zone • Visual stress expression This is what root hypoxia looks like. After 36 hours, we elevated her and drained everything. Now we’re seeing: • Necrotic leaf tissue • Some dead lower leaves • But… white pistils still pushing • Bud development continuing She’s stressed. But she’s not done. ⸻ 🌱 Why Overwatering Is Worse Than Underwatering Underwatering: • Roots search for moisture • Oxygen availability increases • Root mass expands • Enzymes help break down dead root matter • Temporary droop, usually reversible Overwatering: • Roots suffocate • Anaerobic conditions form • Microbial imbalance can develop • Nutrient uptake becomes impaired • Tissue death can occur Water fills pore spaces in soil. No air = no oxygen = no respiration. Roots breathe. When they can’t — the whole plant pays for it. And with an autoflower, recovery window is shorter. A photoperiod could be vegged longer to recover. An auto? Clock is ticking. ⸻ Environment — Playing on the Edge (But Controlled) Current room conditions: • Canopy Temp: ~28°C • RH: ~70% • CO₂: 1000+ ppm • PPFD: 800 → 1300 µmol/m²/s On paper, 28°C + 70% RH sounds high. But here’s the key: Massive Airflow We have: • Strong horizontal airflow • Vertical movement • Air exchange • Under-canopy circulation Airflow changes everything. ⸻ 🍃 Leaf VPD vs Room VPD Room VPD at 28°C / 70% RH is moderate-high humidity. But leaf temperature under strong light + airflow is often slightly higher than ambient. This increases transpiration. Add 1000+ ppm CO₂: • Stomata don’t need to open as wide • Photosynthesis rate increases • Plants tolerate higher humidity • Metabolic rate remains high This is why they’re thriving. We are pushing high PPFD — up to 1300 µmol in larger tops — but only where plant size can handle it. Smaller plants receive ~800 µmol. Light intensity is scaled to structure. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Strategy We are running: • Top lighting • Under-canopy lighting • End-of-day red (15 minutes) Let’s break this down. ⸻ 🔦 Under-Canopy Lighting — Why? Purpose: • Illuminate lower bud sites • Reduce larf • Stimulate lower photosynthesis • Improve uniformity • Reduce shading stress We are not trying to replace top light. We are supplementing energy where dense canopy blocks photons. It also improves airflow around lower sites because buds stay active and not shaded/degrading. ⸻ 🔴 End-of-Day Red (15 Minutes After Lights Off) We run 15 minutes of red spectrum at lights-off. Why? Phytochrome manipulation. Plants have two main light-sensitive phytochrome states: • Pr (red-absorbing) • Pfr (far-red absorbing) Red light converts phytochrome into its active Pfr state. When lights go off, Pfr slowly converts back to Pr in darkness. By giving a short red pulse: • We influence phytochrome equilibrium • Potentially enhance flowering signaling • Encourage elongation control • Improve transition consistency It does not extend photoperiod. It manipulates light signaling. We are experimenting — not claiming magic. But we document everything. ⸻ 🌱 EC & Feeding Soil EC: 0.9 Feed EC: 2.4 This tells us: They are eating aggressively. If runoff EC stays stable and doesn’t climb, we maintain feed strength. High metabolic demand requires high input. But we monitor carefully. If soil EC begins rising? We adjust immediately. ⸻ Structural Differences Plant #1: • Slight LST • Strong lateral competition • Dense but controlled canopy Plant #2: • Some training • More natural expression • Slightly smoother, smaller phenotype Even genetics within the same strain express differently. And that’s the beauty of 12/12 from seed. You see who they truly are. ⸻ 🔮 What This Week Represents This week is about: • Stress response • Root health • Environmental boundaries • Recovery observation • Real learning Not hype. Not perfection. Reality. ⸻ 📅 What to Expect Next Week For the Big Walla: • Continued stacking • Increased resin production • Structural thickening • Possibly slight nutrient demand increase For the Overwatered One: • Either: • Gradual recovery with reduced leaf mass • Or stalled development if root damage was severe We do not expect explosive rebound. We expect stabilization first. ⸻ ❤️ Gratitude To: • The OGs who’ve been here since day one • The new followers discovering the journey • The skeptics who keep us sharp • The haters who fuel consistency • Sponsors supporting experimentation • GrowDiaries platform • Discord family • Instagram community This is not a solo grow. This is shared documentation. ⸻ 🌌 Final Thought Nothing in nature is perfect. And that’s exactly why this works. This week proves it. One queen thriving. One queen struggling. Both teaching. Cosmic Noodles — Week 8. Let’s recover one. Let’s push the other. Let’s document everything. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. For the first time I cut the leaves, for more extensive illumination of the upper part, due to the close location of the light of the plant, the trunk trunk grows and does not stretch upwards, I want to cover the entire area of ??the pot with one layer then start the flowering stage at 6-7 weeks I didn’t cut the leaves, but simply pressed them to the ground, since this is my first experience, I think that everything is going well, the plant eats a lot of nutrient fertilizers and looks good as you can see, the temperature in the box exceeds 27 degrees and it seems to her that temper tsya. in many of the moments, I would like to express a special thanks to such a cool grower like ctm_dzagi! Looking at his works of past cycles, I learned a lot and continue to learn, his technique and approach is great! Well, we are waiting for the fifth week)) Let's go!

Chopped Wednesday the 11th. Trimmed and began curing the 21st. 4oz of super dense sticky bud. 1 pound of high grade trim and 2 oz of low grade trim. This plant was truly strange the places it chose to grow Trichomes. Stay tuned because I will be making hash with the high grade trim. Also will be uploading smoke score in two weeks Thank you to anyone who followed and god bless!

5/5 1AM MONDAY 5/6 4am BPP is looking good....water logged some roots so I will be opening the top today to dry the dirt. 230pm used a rag with a little bleach cleaned the bottom of the tray and sides dried and put everything back. BPP looks happy!!! 5/8 5sm.... BPP id good all others looking nice. letting dirt dry now, turned on the white lights and turn them off by hand around 3 or 4 but leave blue and red on 24/7. Im not consistent with the white lights, if they show stress I go back to just blue and red. 5/9 1am retard robin....if I register this plant as an immigrant retard will I get 3000 a month from the state???!!!???!!! 5/10 Retard Robin....you have failed me for the 3rd or 2nd to the LAST TIME!!! I dont know if she's going to become a viable plant now???? I will plant the last GOAT seed in the same cup, I dont think she's worth saving but a new seed will make for an exciting grow!!!! I put a new seed in!!!.. Just noticed I did NOT open the air vents ...so a little water logged....I did a Rapid Start ..5mL water with a little run off. Opened the vents and put a little USB fan up. 5/11 222am they liked the Rapid Start .4ml L rinse.

What a week! Despite battling a historical heatwave, the Amnesia Haze ladies have continued to push forward. The canopy is becoming more even as the SCROG fills out, with more tops finding their place above the net. The training is paying off, creating a broad, level canopy that should make the most of the flowering stretch. The intense temperatures definitely increased their thirst. Water consumption has risen significantly, and the plants are now drinking around 1.5L per plant every third day. Even under the challenging conditions, they're showing healthy new growth and responding well to the stable feeding routine. A few older fan leaves still carry signs of previous stress, but the fresh growth looks vigorous and the plants are focusing their energy on building strong tops. With the structure now well established, it's mostly a matter of continuing to tuck branches, maintaining the environment, and getting ready for the flip. 📊 Stats so far: 💧 Watering: 1.5L per plant every third day 🌡️ Temp: 28–30°C (despite the historical heatwave outside) 💦 Humidity: 80% RH 📈 VPD: ~1.02 kPa 💡 Light: ~500 PPFD The SCROG is filling in nicely, the roots have settled into their new homes, and the plants are proving just how resilient they can be—even in record-breaking summer conditions. Looking forward to seeing this canopy explode over the coming weeks! 🌱🌞

Looking nice 👍 I will transplant into 19 l this week Could this b3 the rarest of rare ? Is this the triauanna plant ? 🌱 OMG IT COULD BE THE ONE Before everyone tells me how wonderful they’ve had a triple Leaf before , that might be the case but you’ve never had a triple Stem structure , EVERYONE has had the plant with three primary leaves , that grow funny , and end up normal , if thus is a true triuanna plant it’s so strong 💪 we will see Change reservoir Fridays 75 cm away from SF4000 30 cm away from SF1000

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Daylight hours this week will be below 13.5. I can't use halves in the grow conditions, so I'm noting here. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 78°F. Skies were overcast with all day rain and mist. It's about as bad of weather as u can get for cannabis in flower. Let's see how these fastbuds hold up to 💯 fu weather. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 88°F with clear sunny skies. I watered about 5 gallons per pot with well water. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 74°F with sunny skies. I watered about 5 gallons Day 4 we had a high temperature of 79°F with partly cloudy skies. I watered about 5 gallons of well water. These girls are getting close to mid flower, but for now seem to be happy with the nutrients I top dressed with. Day 5 Week had a high temperature of 85°F with sunny skies. I watered about 5 gallons of well water per pot. Day 6 I didn't get photos but it was a normal day. Lots of sunshine highs about 80°F. I watered about 5 gallons. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 79° F. These girls haven't shown any signs of hunger. I think I'll feed some tomorrow. Today I watered about 5 gallons and treated with Growers Ally fungicide. Overall this week was a success. Their growth height has been achieved. They are in full flower and kicking up a nice citrus smell.

Another fun strain to run from Fastbuds, Bruce banner was amazing at a total of 83 days , came out with some thick dense resiny coated buds , an very sweet smell! Has very tight buds with tight stems so it would def be better to tie her down an open her up for some LST ! I highly recommend y’all trying Bruce Banner out , you won’t be disappointed!!

It is almost boring to photograph vegetative plants, they are all the same. it is in bloom that the quality of a genetics is determined, and now the fun begins... so far the plants have shown no deficiency and no abnormal growth. You can clearly see the difference between the fertilized plant and the non-fertilized one, but I will make the necessary observations at the end of the cycle. these will be the last plants I grow with the "classic" method. In the future only Canamatoes style 🍅🍀 (look for it here on Growdiaries, one of the best growers I know) there is little else to say at the moment about these beauties. It has been a strange week alternating rains and high temperatures... and in the garden all kind of bugs appeared like it is Spring :( In the last 3 days of this week noticed some leaves with aphids, and some powdery mildew but hopefully not touching the buds, as are covered in a lot of resin and thc, so gotta clean the plant removing all the afected leaves when harvesting and hash is discarded with this plant.. So... the Royal Cheese had to be harvested as soon as possible... but no worries at all as the plant past the middle point of the harvest window(as i say lol), with practically all the trichs milky. Would like to keep the plant like 3 or 4 days more until amber appearing, but the taste of the Cheese is better if you harvest earlier so it is all fine. The colas are so big, did not expect this kind of production with a revegged plant ( but she did not fully flower ), 3 months ago when the plant started to flower. The smell is insulting hahaha, it is stinking all the sorroundings... The neighbours probably are mad about it 😅 But they are kind, did not complain about it.. The feeding schedule: -Water-/-TopCandy-/-Water- Flushing: last 10-11 days until harvest Good vibes!!!!, next diary week will be Harvest

This week has been all about shaping the plant. I’ve learned from last that the colas weren’t the same height, because I let the plant do it’s things with just a bit of training. Now I know what to look for so I’m trying my hardest. I top dressed this week with crab meal, Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4, insect frass, kelp meal, bone meal, azomite, and covered it with a healthy serving of worm castings (about an inch to 2 inches). All of which was sprinkled on all the chopped and dropped leaves/branches. I believe in adding biomass to soil, especially for an indoor growing who is money conscious. Doing that can help save me money going back to the store for more soil.

Was only a two day week, trichomes matured quick and she was ready to harvest! Easy cleanup before hanging. Look forward to doing this strain again in the future to see her true potential.
