Growing food I've been snapping the branches down a bit and they seem to love it they bounce right back...

Commencing Week 8: day 50 on January 19th Update is late my sincerest apologies. I will make it up by giving a very thorough smoke report when all is done. Otherwise all is going very well 😁😁👏👏 On day 50 I took the head off of bloody skunk. I checked trichome colors under USB microscope. At least 90% fully milky-white with maybe 5 or 6% Amber and the remainder clear. 😁 On day 55 I gave all of the plants a fan leaf trim including the remaining bottom half of bloody skunk. as I sit here and think about it I believe this will help with ensuring the entire plant ripens and matures at the same time - versus the tops being ready before the bottoms. I still plan on letting the bottoms of all these plants go way beyond the recommended time to see if I can initiate the process of rodelization. Either way I am glad to report that Bloody skunks pollenization looks like it is resulting in some seeds. (See photo). In hindsight my only concern is that because the plant finished a bit earlier than I expected the seeds may not make it to full maturity but I believe it should be okay we'll just have to wait and find out. That being said besides the bloody skunk being done just a few days early everything else seems to be right on time as described in plant profiles on company websites.👍 That's all for now thank you for your patience and attention and support and as usual feel free to leave any suggestions comments or questions and I'll do my best to get back sooner rather than later 😁

What's up guys let's go to a week passing by, right? and I'm happy that they have resined a lot, it's a shame they didn't develop better but due to the heat and low humidity this cycle they didn't grow much but I'm already improving in the next cycle and we'll see what happens. =D

Grow diary 11 Stage 4 Days 31-40 Day 31 Turned power up to 85% on the mars hydro ts1000. Mines one of the old ones you need to stick a screw driver in to alter it. Day 36 Removed the single finger fan leaves and the 1st 3 fingered leaves. Day 39 Removed the 4 fan leaves from where she was topped last week. The start of this stage we hit a heat wave, day after day of heat. I had my humidifier on most of the 9 days. The tent didn't hit the temps I thought it would so that means I have my loft under a bit better control. The plant really kicked into gear this week, around day 34 she started to explode in growth. So far I have only done some lite defoliation by removing some of the 1st leaves that weren't getting any light anymore. I now think the west coast o.g is the nicest looking one in the grow. I am starting a Tangerine Band. I scuffed the seed ends, then dropped it in water. In about 24 hours or as soon as I see a tail start I will drop it in the rockwool. This was a hell of a journey and I leanred so much along the way. Really impressed with the outcome and how forgiving this strain was for a novice grower. The spark that started me on this journey has sure as shit turned into a flame.

this one seems to be keeping up with the others pretty well, wish it had produced some larger leaves prior to flip but oh well

Week 8 begins for mandarin dreams and divine storm. All four ladies are frosty, sticky and the mandarin smell is incredibly strong. I love how these girls look and are growing under the TSW2000, they look better than round 1, grown under my own custom Samsung strip's. Thank you Mars-Hydro for the light! Amazing progress across the board in the tent the last week. Development has been positive for The New and Black Dog, Bubba has swollen up bud wise, and it’s still another week away or so (flowering is supposed to be 50-55 and we’re at 50 today). Chemdawg smell is getting stronger but not too aggressive, and it’s fate king nicely on most colas. Even at the bottom of the plant the buds look nice. It’s an amazing strain, can’t wait to smoke it.

START FLOWERING AROUND 24TH OF OCTOBER

Took some fan leaves from the second branches off that were covering lower branches and tied higher fan leaves down a little, I'll LST more throughout this week.

This week I noticed the buds got more bigger but also the calcium deficiency has gotten worse and so to battle that I added gypsum to the medium and gave them two waterings with banana peels 🍌in the water ( I read banana peels give off Potassium, Phosphorus, Calcium, and magnesium) hopefully they bounce back and my yield isn’t affected too bad.

💫The week went great. After the first stress, growth seemed to slow down, but it worked out, the plant began to expand. I water it every 3 days. I continue to bend the stem along the axis of the pot. I bend the branch that will pass through the fastest. 💚I started giving supplements late. Only on the 33rd day I gave him fish and everything else. 🍀 Week showed good growth, but it could have been better, let's see what happens with the additives. I continue to twist the stem in a circle (I don't know where to twist it). And I also cut off the leaves a little bit, about once a week, as they block the light (a friend says not to overdo it with defoliation, let's see what happens).🍀

The girls have officially started to blossom, even the bubblegum seems to be slowly recovering, I'm happy with the result for now.

Well she is the star of the tent. Her purple colour is amazing, her sickly sweet smell is amazing. She has not given me any problems at all during this grow. Maybe a week left and I cant wait.
