Mandarin XL autoflower is growing great. She is really stalling on going into flowering, but it looks like she is gonna put her first pistils out at any moment. She started showing a big fluctuation in the ph. Which is also a sign I have noticed that she is shifting gears. She will get a solution change in the next few days. She looks super healthy on the Gen1:11 organo-mineral nutrition. I defoliated her and been keeping up on lst. Nothing else to report at the moment. Still smooth sailing. Both plants are growing well and are starting to become frosty. The intensity of the smell is increasing by day. Unfortunately the Purple Lemonade isn't really purple. We'll see about that.

Week 5 is all about the first topping for mainlining or manifold training. Each plant is cut just above 3rd node, and we defoliate everything below. Going for 2 nice horizontal lines.

First pistils came through this week! Switched the 'bloom' switch on the light to double LED count and add the red to the spectrum. Defoliated lower growth again on day 45 before noticing the pistil 48 hours later. Spotted a nutrient burn, and that I haven't been watering until enough runoff so possible nute/salt buildup? I also realised the plant was drooping before feeding so going to increase feed volume to keep the coco more moist. A nice amount of main colas considering her rough childhood. Fed no nutrients from day 47-49, just feeding 5.8pH water to reduce salt content. Water was 60PPM at 5.8pH and after 8L still got 500PPM runoff. Definitely need to change feeding method. Thanks for the tips to those who answered!

Week 4

Oh cindy.... be mine ! They're all doing great , pushing out these typical sativa plant leafs, thin, long, real nice. this plant is squat but it got flipped a few days ago so lets see how it does with the stretch. Smell is getting serious by now, i dont know how that's going to work when i'm in the full flower probably i'll need a third extractor and a third carbon filter... the noise on these fans is insane though at 150W each it's not easy to stay in the room with the buzzing sound .... Did some training on these, two defoliations that "s a total of three so far. Funniest thing happened : i mixed my specialised micro (cal mag + "rare micro" like boron, mobi, etc) which is green powder with the Biotabs Orgatrex which is brown liquid and my feed ended up blue lol i still watered with it, so pray for my plants lol Veg is finally over ! Now it gets interesting ! 🚀
