This girl took very well to LST and defoliating. Didn’t notice any sort of stunting from the defoliating, she chugged on as if nothing happened to her.

It doesn't get much light because my pound cake has grown thicker than I expected... maybe it will still produce some good buds.

It became clear to me when I opened the tent two days ago. There they were, sticking out one of the main cola’s, it was almost impossible to miss them: 2 bright lime green banana’s. It was like the little dicks were smiling to me. I immediately removed them and search all the plants thoroughly multiple times for more, but didn’t found one. So, I guess I’m now a member of the ‘hermies club’. As for the cause: I suspect light stress. The light was close on the canopy, a little closer than (for example) dr. Cocoforcannabis recommends for this light. I found the two banana’s on Jannine and the bud that had them, is the one that’s almost in the middle of the tent, where the light is the brightest. The plant on the left, Kim, was also showing some foxtailing on her highest buds. Hence, I raised the lights 6-7 centimeters. Hopefully, I took away the cause of the hermies; off course, I’m keeping a sharp eye on the buds, but I haven’t found any more than those two. Also, EC of the drain tends to go up, hence every few days, I now just give them plain pH’ed water, to prevent high EC spikes. The trichomes are developing nicely. I bought a jeweler's loupe to study them, because with my USB microscope it’s almost impossible to get a clear picture (I don’t have a steady hand). The girls are 7 weeks into flower: there are no amber trichomes, but most trichomes are partly cloudy (30~50%) and a minority is still fully clear. I guess two more weeks before harvest, maybe 1,5 week. I switch to GHE Ripen later this week. I didn’t use such a product during my first grow, so I’m curious to see if it does something good. Pre98 Bubba , oh how I’ve missed you for so many years! These ones came out absolutely gorgeous! Loving the the purple phenos 😍 ! These ladies liked to stretch quite a bit so you’re gonna want to use some LST on em but I also recommend topping at least 6 times to get a better bang on your yield ! Expect nice tight purple buds with a tremendous amount of frost covering, some of the frostiest Bubba I’ve ever had! Over all I give it 10 stars an would definitely over an over run this strain!

Mixed up 1 ml each of medusas magic, Gaia mania, and Zeus juice into a 1 quart spray bottle adjusted to 6.3 ph. When this gets another set or 2 of true leaves I'll take away the fluorescent and install my new hlg-65 led panel. I'm excited to see what the "special phenotype" really means. Photos are day 13 since it popped out of the soil. Also fed some tribus microbes I got as a freebie :).

Start of week 4 flower, everything going awesome, she is absolutely piling on size already I am surprised to see, expect flower to finish in good time as a result, but we will see how it pans out :) So many sick tops, fattening up and starting to form crystal too, she smells superb

Week 14, day 99, the second week of flowering has started, and it shows on the plant. It looks like Cookies Gelato #1 has started flowering before #2 and #2 started before #3. Look at the photos from above, I cannot wait to see when flowers will be enormous and lots of them!! Of course there is no weed smell yet but the plants have a wonderful smell of mint and lime. I'm also still trying to LST the plants even if they are mature, just to get a bit more light. Approximately two more months and I'll be ready to harvest, I think the yield will be terrific. RQS Titan F1 week 5 Hello friends and followers, 2/25 This has been an exciting week. My Titan girls started flower 🌼. T3 in the 3-gallon air pot is larger at 6.5 inches. Last week I noticed her new growth was getting long and thin. A sure sign the pistils will emerge in a day or two. T3 started flower 🌼on 2/25. 2/26 Surprise surprise, T3 stretched an inch overnight and T2 about a.5 inch. That stretch meant I had a busy plant workday ahead. First, I defoliated T3 since I could see what I had to work with. Then because I’ve been following @yan402 on his Titan grow, I said I was going to top her. He said its ok if done correctly and at the right time. Well, fingers crossed 🤞, I hope it was not too late or cut in yhe wrong place since T3 was already in flower. Her short (.75-1” long) stems are so close to the stem, it was difficult getting the tie down pins placed. With T2’s stretches her tippy top is just peeking above the copper pot rim. She is towering 😅 at 2.5 inches. T2 was defoliated on 2/26 as well. Her defoliation pictures above show how many I was able to trim off 7 and the leaf relative size. T2’s largest leaf is the size of a quarter and the smallest set I cut off, about the size of a penny. I keep supplementing and folar spraying with Cal-mag but the internodal chlorosis is still visible. I think Teapot gal (T2) has a copper excess.  Slowed Growth,  Fewer branches  Internodal Chlorosis  Stumpy roots (I won’t see this until I harvest and reveal the root ball) Given these symptoms of copper excess, and that RQS Titan are F1 hybrids and should be stable, I believe the height and the health differences are attributable to the copper wire teapot. They are in the same soil, same tent environment, same nutrient solution, same light, same everything. As I stated in previous discourse, I expected the overall plant to be smaller than T3 simply based on the pot size but did not expect to see such size differences so early, not to mention the nutrient issues. How I wonder? The copper wire is separated from the plant and soil by coco liner (which should be neutral, then coffee filters because I thought the soil would was out). Then the soil and plant. T2 is towering at 2.5 inches and started flower on 2/29. I expected a delay in her flowering time (4 days after T3) since she was transplanted to the teapot when T1 failed to thrive (maybe also the teapot cause?). Any time you train your plants, the stress causes delays in flowering then harvest. I defoliated T2 on 3/1 day 30. The pictures after defoliation show the tight node structure with 3 or 4 nodes crammed in only 1.5 inches of the main stem. Sheesh. So, as we enter March, we are off and growing buds. RQS says harvest 70-75 days or 40-45 days of flower. My calculations – harvest will be April 13-18. Be sure to come for my tea

Beginning of week.. Both have some gorgeous flowers.. Purples are already coming out on both. Both are flooding with complex aromas.. ETHOS Cookies is doing great.. Mandarin Cookies is gonna make it to harvest, I'm sure.. So excited! Mid week.. I love how they both are giving off nice purples on the calyces already! Both smell so amazing! It makes me tear up with joy! Not sure when I should start flushing! ETHOS says that you count 9 weeks from flip to 12/12.. Not pistils forming.. Cuz you know, you need to factor in the transition time.. 1 - 2 weeks.. Sometimes 3! But I am super excited to harvest these lovely ladies!!! Next day... Ok.. So the runoff issue has gotten worse for the Mandarin Cookies.. Obviously, with all the def. you can see.. At least 3 that I can see right away.. Calcium.. Potassium.. Phosphorous.. Maybe even a slight Magnesium def. in there too.. Kinda hard to pinpoint when there is multiple showing, yet I am feeding PLENTY of all of them.. She should have no issues.. The runoff pH is now coming out at about 4.9 - 5.2, depending on a good or bad day, I guess.. I have just been puttinf it in at 6.3 every time.. Sometimes (alot now) I get a salt build-up between feedings.. I like to feed, water, feed, water.. Now I need to feed, water, water, feed, water, water... It's really bothering the shit outta me lol.. But the ETHOS Cookies is pretty close to peing on point.. Going in: 6.3 pH.. Runoff: 5.8 - 5.7.. Still in a decent range.. No signs of issues on any leaves.. They are both making some gorgeous nugs tho! Stackin calyces and trichomes lile crazy! And now they are really fattening up! I am so ready for this run to be over and let this medium dry out reeeeally good.. And take it out back Ol' Yeller style.. Yup.. That sounds like a plan.. I have PLENTY of NEW coco coir bricks and perlite that I have been hoarding.. Just like I do with my genetics 😄.. But I feel like you can never have enough.. And I plan on growing cannabis in coco coir till someone takes me out back Ol' Yeller style! End of week.. They are both showing about 50% turned pistils.. The ETHOS Cookies is a little further along.. Not by much.. But the trichomes on the Mandarin Cookies seem a little further along.. Word.. They are both going to be epic smokes for sure! So I believe I will just give both of them small feedings just to get them through the week, then I should be good to start flushing.. On to the next week!...

Week 11 Day 71 (9/25) Well I made an partially informed decision with her. I went ahead and gave her a mini flush, ran 3 gallons of water through her to try and get some of the excess nutrients out. I'll give a few days, then will feed her again. I'm going to try and remember to bust out the microscope tonight and check her trichomes. She's still got plenty of white pistils, but I just need to see if I am actually able to see the trichs for when the time comes. Day 72 (9/26) Her pot was still fairly heavy this morning, so no plans to feed today. I'm thinking tomorrow she'll be ready. I feel so bad for her, she's looking kinda pitiful. I did get a chance to try out a cheap little phone clip on microscope I have. It was difficult to get it down to the bud, but took a few pics. These are zoomed in on the small area that it actually captured. Worked out okay, but it's gotta be like ON the bud to see anything, and now it's sticky and funky. Which to be fair, isn't really a bad thing. I think it will work well enough to check trichomes for readiness. Her pistils are browning surprisingly quickly, I wasn't expecting that. I may start checking trichomes every few days or so. Day 73 (9/27) Wasn't able to get on and get posted yesterday, the mother-in-law was at our house all day. But she was feeding us mushrooms all day, so I guess that's okay lol. Day 74 (9/28) I was able to get up early and get her fed. Her smell is amazing, sweet and potent. I messed around a bit with the microscope but it's pretty hard to get decent pics. Day 75 (9/29) Played around with the microscope a bit last night. It's pretty hard to get clear shots of the trichomes, but I'm getting better at it the more a mess with it. Debating on getting a handheld microscope off amazon or something, just to try to make it easier and more clear to see the trichomes. Currently working on the wife about getting some lights for the 4x4 and getting that tent going. I'd like to be able to run multiple plants! Day 76 (9/30) She's getting closer and closer! After the flush, it seems like the lockout is over as she isn't progressing like she was. Day 77 (10/1) I pulled out the microscope lens for my phone and checked trichomes. Realized I was probably better off just taking a video and checking multiple buds. Worked out pretty good, just paused the video when I had a clear shot and was able to zoom in and such to look closer. Here I am...just waiting....waiting...waiting...waiting...
