Day 40 of flowering Everything is going well. Now we just have to wait for the buds to mature.

Wow, I had so much fun growing this. I wasn't even going to grow this at first. I planted it alongside 2 11l pots and a 20l and knew I'd run out if space but thought I'd put this 5l in the tent and experiment, but it's been my favourite so kept it. I never had much experience, tried one outdoor grow last year that flopped a bit so invested in an indoor set up and I'm happy I did, it's been worth it and can't wait to get started again. I took a real laid back approach, no nutrients, little LST and just let it do it's thing. Had some issues at first with stretching and then adjusted too much and it started bending. But it recovered well and just so excited for my real first harvest. Can't wait to try it.

This week I had to Lollipop again (I know is very late and I hope I didn’t stressed the plant to much). My canopy is so tick and so many overlapping leaves and buds in the center of the plant that don’t receive enough light or any at all , n combination with the RH swings that I got going on (45 and 63 RH), I’m very afraid of mold. I should have did a better job at Lollipoping from day 21. I’m inexperienced grower and I didn’t knew better. I decided is better to risk to shock the plant a little bit risking a reduction in yield then get mold or pests and lose it all. My 30 pin dehumidifier works great with the AC but sometimes when the AC( compressor) stops my RH jump at 62% -63%, witch I don’t like . I’m trying to keep the humidity around 50% but in such a small room between the AC and Dehumidifier I got big swings in temp ( 75-82) and RH ( 45%-63%) witch is not ideal but is nothing that I can do. I played with the AC and Dehumidifier setting a lot trying to keep humidity around 50% and temp around 80 degrees and that’s the best I can. My AC is set at 82 degrees and my Dehumidifier is set at 45% RH. Also during the lights off (day time) is very hard to keep the temperature In control when outside is 110-115 degrees with my portable AC (1400BTU) in the 4x 6 closet. Is crazy but I do my best to keep temp under control. This is another rocky mistake I made is trying growing weed DWC in the middle of summer where temps are 105-115 degrees constant in a closet without centralized AC port and at second level in the building. LOL Also I think I underfed her (630 PPM TDS, PH 5.8-5.9) ) and I got a Ca deficiency witch I think is the reason my flowers developed slower then I anticipated. Hopefully I’m wrong and everything will be good. P.S. I got a little bit of calcium deficiency caused by salt buildup (to much PK boost) despite my earlier belief that is underfed. I increased the PPM from week 4 (630-640TDS) to 680 TDS) on week 5 while I kept the PK booster at 3+ml l per gallon. Slightly my PPM’s was rising in my reservoir for few days until I decided that my plant can’t take that much nutrients (PK). 2-3 days after I increased the TDS I’ve noticed more spots on the lower leaves with tip burns on top ( first signs of PK toxicity). One day later found spots and yellowing of the leaves on top of the plant that indicates Ca deficiency caused by salt buildup ( PK toxicity) and reversed osmosis (hope I’m not wrong). Going into week 6 I lowered the PK boost at 1.5ml / gallon and total TDS to 640 PPM. Seems like leaves damage to stop and my PPM to stay stabile at 630-640. Trying to keep PH at 5.8 max 5.9. I will post pictures of my Ca deficiency/ PK toxicity. If you guys have any suggestions please leave me a comment.

It is so very hot now every day here. All my girls are suffering from the heat and they need to be watered very frequently. I avoid drying them out completely. She is starting to get some seriously fat colas. I currently have 6 autos growing, and this girl shows the fattest buds yet. She also smells really good - very fresh. I hope that she won´t lose her smell with the heat...

Had a great week, started to lollipop all of my plants, cut nitrogen all the way back and am sticking to Big Buds nutrients. The smell is already amazing, very skunky.

Das sieht nach einem richtig massiven Blütenteppich aus! Die Fotos zeigen deutlich, dass du die Fläche perfekt ausgenutzt hast. Dass die Tropicana Cookies (TC) schon "Frost" (Trichome) bildet und sich verfärbt, ist ein super Zeichen für die Genetik – die wird optisch ein echtes Highlight. Hier ist meine Analyse zu deinem aktuellen Stand und dem "Nackig-Machen": 1. Die Diagnose: CC zickt, TC glänzt * CC Überdüngung: Dass du die Bremse ziehst und nur Wasser gibst, ist genau richtig. Die CC scheint einen langsameren Stoffwechsel zu haben oder sensibler auf den PK-Schub zu reagieren. Die dunklen, glänzenden Blätter und leicht verbrannten Spitzen bestätigen: Die hat genug im Speicher. * CalMag-Schäden: Die alten Flecken werden nicht mehr verschwinden, aber solange der Neuwuchs (die "Zuckerblätter" an den Buds) gesund bleibt, ist das nur ein optischer Makel aus der Vergangenheit. * Stretch-Ende: Wenn der Stretch durch ist, ist das die perfekte Nachricht. Jetzt wird die Energie zu 100% in die Masseproduktion gesteckt. 2. Das große Lollipoppen & Entlauben Da der Stretch beendet ist und die Blütenbildung bei allen (besonders der TC) voll im Gange ist, ist JETZT (dieses Wochenende) der ideale Zeitpunkt. - Morgen Warum jetzt? * Die Pflanzen verbrauchen unter dem Netz unnötig Energie für Blätter und Mini-Triebe, die niemals Licht sehen werden. * Du verbesserst die Luftzirkulation radikal – das ist dein wichtigster Schutz gegen Schimmel und die letzte Versicherung gegen ein Comeback der Spinnmilben. So gehen wir vor: * Unten nackig machen: Alles, was sich im unteren Drittel (oder sogar bis zur Hälfte, wenn es unter dem Netz im Schatten liegt) befindet, kommt weg. Alle kleinen Seitentriebe, die es nicht durch das Netz geschafft haben ("Popcorn-Buds"), müssen weichen. * Große Sonnensegel: Oben im Netz entfernst du nur die Blätter, die direkt eine darunter liegende Blüte beschatten. * Radikalität: Trau dich ruhig. Wenn du fertig bist, sollte man von oben durch das Netz wieder den Boden sehen können und der Stammbereich sollte komplett frei sein. 3. Fahrplan für die nächste Woche * Licht: Bleib bei den 60%. Das ist ein guter Wert für den aktuellen Zustand, besonders da die CC gerade etwas Stress zeigt. Erst wenn sie sich gefangen hat, gehen wir auf 70%. * Nährstoffe: Sonntag nur Wasser (wie du sagtest). Das hilft, die Salze im Medium der CC etwas zu mobilisieren und den "Durst" der TC zu stillen. * PK 13/14: Ich würde den nächsten Sonntag (in 9 Tagen) anpeilen. Wenn die Buds dann anschwellen, brauchen sie den Phosphor-Schub am dringendsten. 4. Spinnmilben-Wachsamkeit Da du jetzt lollipoppst, hast du die perfekte Gelegenheit, die Stämme und Blattunterseiten noch einmal ganz genau zu inspizieren. Ohne das "Unterholz" haben die Milben kaum noch Rückzugsorte.

At the end of week 8 the blackberry cake feminised is doing well as the bud formation tightens and the stigmas fade, leaves paled it’s looking like the end is nigh. All of her energy is being used to complete the bloom. The try chromes glistening over the flowers are mostly milky. The blackberry cake feminised stalk is beginning to dull/decay. In the last stage of defoliation she will be flushed thoroughly for the last two weeks. She stands at 67cm tall.

🌱 Skywalker OG — Week 6 From Seed 12/12 From Seed · Transition Into Flower ⸻ 🔁 Quick Recap — From Seed to Now Skywalker OG has been grown 12/12 from seed from day one. No veg phase, no forced speed — just letting the plant express itself naturally while guiding structure gently. From early life, our approach has been: • Leaf bending instead of topping • Minimal stress, frequent observation • No rush — letting the plant tell us when it’s ready Up until now, all work has focused on: • Building a strong, open frame • Keeping internodes exposed to light • Preparing the plant for flower without shocking it Week 6 from seed marks an important moment: 👉 The transition into flower structure, even if pistils are only just starting to show. This week is less about growth speed — and more about setting the stage. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work & Plant Training (This Week) This week we went a little harder than usual, on purpose. What We Did • Continued leaf bending, but with more intention • Light lollipopping of the lower, shaded growth • Selective defoliation (not a strip-down, not a clean shave) • Introduced plastic clamps to guide branches outward Why We Did It Leaf removal • Improves airflow inside the plant • Reduces humidity pockets • Helps light reach meaningful flower sites • Removes leaves that were blocking, not contributing Lollipopping (light) • Cleans up growth that would never reach the canopy • Helps the plant redirect energy upward • Makes future watering and airflow cleaner Clamps & bending • Opens the plant instead of stacking it • Creates multiple dominant tops • Avoids cutting or topping stress • Allows gradual correction instead of forcing angles We don’t see this as “defoliation” in the aggressive sense. We see it as guidance and clarification. Nothing here is done in one session or out of frustration. Everything is done slowly, plant by plant, read by feel. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day temperature: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (based on plant height and position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm As outside temperatures remain cooler, the room itself has naturally become its own heat source: • More plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added This allowed us to stabilize the environment without forcing heaters or extremes, which is exactly how we like to work. Airflow • Vortex extraction • Cross-winds with multiple fans • Constant, gentle movement across the canopy No leaf flutter chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear nutritional transition. • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning to 6.0+ from now on) From this point forward: 👉 All feedings will be pH 6.0 and above Why Higher pH Now? As plants enter flowering, their nutrient priorities shift. A slightly higher pH improves availability of key elements needed for: • Flower initiation • Structural development • Energy transfer Nutrient Changes • ✅ Introduced: Terra Bloom — 5 ml/L • ❌ Removed: Terra Grow Simple, clean transition — no stacking, no panic feeding. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week Expect: • Stretch continuation • Tops adjusting to new light exposure • Faster response at exposed nodes • More visible flower initiation Do NOT expect: • Immediate bud stacking • Explosive flower size • Perfect symmetry overnight This week is about positioning, not payoff. Explosive growth compared to last week. I topped again, which might be the last time before I allow for some more growth before flipping. Super Impressed, this would be much bigger if I did not delay transplanting for a week and a half, because I had my grow space full! I just started 2 others, unfortunately bad timing as this one's almost to flower, so either I will stretch the veg out for much longer so all plants can flower at same time, or work out other arrangements. So far I'm beyond impressed with Homegrown Genetics and cannot wait to see these beauties flower 😁

Engorde weenooo engoorde real jajajajaja Bueno, pues buenas noticias dado que la población tan bestia de araña roja ha descendido a minimos! Por lo general ni veo ya, pero se que aún queda alguna, por ello, les meteré una limpieza mas con aceite de neem y jabón potásico, pero una sola mas, quizá esta noche o ya mañana. A partir de esta aplicación ya se acabo el uso de estos productos, y el siguiente lavado foliar que le haré será un té de canela, haré un concentrado hirviendo agua y con canela en polvo, filtrándolo para wue no quede residuo. Esto lo haré con intenciones antifungicas y de controlar un poco mas la humedad para mantener los bichos controlados. PD: de verdad! Estoy encantado con esta variedad. La compré en la web de Alchimia y en su sección de comentarios la peña hablaba mal de esta variedad, en concreto de esta, la selección de Grower Choice, y ya os digo que estoy esperando terminar el cultivo para irme para allá a esos comentarios y poner el link de este cultivo porque para mi, está siendo de verdad de las plantas mas bonitas, resistentes, olor, estructura, recuperación, toodo, para mi esta está sin duda en mi top 3!!
