The week began with a daring move – a couple of toppings to encourage a more bushy and compact growth structure. It's like giving Jealousy a little green haircut, shaping her into a voluptuous, floral masterpiece. But that's not all, my friends! A defoliation extravaganza ensued, where I carefully removed some of the larger fan leaves. Now, I can almost hear you asking, "Why on earth would you do that?" Well, it's all about optimizing light penetration and airflow, ensuring that each bud site receives its fair share of sunshine and fresh air. It's like orchestrating a botanical ballet, where every dancer gets their moment in the spotlight. Now, brace yourselves for the grand finale – taking some cuts. I know, I know, typically, we'd ease into these practices, but time is of the essence, and I wanted to put Jealousy's genetics to the ultimate test. Week 9 showed clear progression into the final ripening stage. Bud size didn’t change much visually, but trichome development advanced noticeably. 🌸 Most trichomes turned milky, giving the plants a slightly white, frosty appearance. Light intensity remained stable at ~1100 PPFD. Environment stayed consistent at ~26°C and ~50–52% RH. Both plants were watered every 2–3 days with RO water + CalMag, based on pot weight. 💧 During this week, Apricot #2 developed rust-colored / yellow spots on smaller leaves near the buds, which led to a precautionary flush. Both plants were flushed once thoroughly with water + CalMag at around pH 6.5 to reset the medium. After flushing, the issue did not worsen. Phenotype observations: Apricot #1 continues to look healthy and stable, with a compact structure and consistent bud development. Apricot #2 shows the earlier leaf spotting but remains stable overall. Buds continue to swell and maintain good density. Aroma intensified further this week. The Apricots are now producing a strong sweet, fruity, tropical smell, becoming very noticeable in the tent. 🙂 The Amnesia Skittlez in the same environment appears slightly behind in development, with smaller buds and less pronounced trichome production at this stage.😊

She's getting heavy. Buds are a bit too puffy for my taste. They feel hard and got plenty of mass but inside there are lots of tiny air pockets.

Think about 2 weeks to harvest. The smell is amazing, they're frosty as hell. Little bit of fade starting on the fans, aiming to dial nutrients back over the last couple weeks and finish strong!

Hello everyone and welcome to week 9 and day 57 for these two Fast Buds Strawberry Bananana Autos. These two have gone mad! Beyonce is 81cm tall and well into flower as you can see. Solange on the other hand was 118cm tall and had passed the light so I super cropped her two tallest colas a few days ago. She is now 98cm Fertigated 10l 4 days ago and 7.5l today. Day 60: Fertigated 10l Day 62: The plants are now too big and/or heavy with bud to move out of the tent to photograph, and so with thanks to @growbigorgohome who suggested it, I have got a selfie stick to do in-tent photography. It's not great but it's better than nothing! Hopefully the videos will show plenty of details. Anyway I am starting to routine again now, the plants haven't gone more than 3 days without feeding, and I should be back to every other day again now. These two girls are really amazing. Beyonce is way ahead in terms of bud development, but Solange vegged longer and stretched more she was so massive I had to super-crop two colas! Anyway they are really motoring along now, I think Beyonce will be ready 2 weeks before Solange. Despite it is only day 62 we are rapidly approaching the end game here.

Day 51, 31st of October 2020: Hiya!... Time goes fast basically I went on holiday only for 6 days so my friend looked after them.... and miracle happens .... Ladies and Gentlemens ... They impressively grew 20 cm.... look at them explosion ... I had to do LST and gave them darkness one day and switch the lamp to 12/12 from today.... They want to flower .... The smell is getting stronger as well I bought extraction fan system with filter which is already in arrived today but not in use yet..... Everything seems to be good and everything will continue the same way well from next week pump a lot of nutrition they will need it ;) Cheers!

Update June 16th 3 liters fed with another week of fertilizer schedule skipped because why. the fuck. not! I know the can handle it. They’re battle rappers! Still found 4 new bugs on them yellow cards. Guess those are survived larvae from previous mating. But still no invasion. Update June 14th SFW - Second Flower Week. Fungus gnats seem to be defeated. First set of cards caught 5-7 bugs, second set is clean so far. Fingers double-u’d that’s the end of it. Samy handled the watering pause much better than Takti and had no drooping at all. Dynamite Diesel continues to be a much easier and more enjoyable strain to train. Not nearly as bushy, which makes handling and shaping a lot more straightforward.

Flowering day 11 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The first days of this week it looked really terrible for me because it was much too cold because of the unusual temperature. The heating mat has now also arrived for the big tent and lo and behold the plants have been developing really well since that day ☺️👍. The temperature doesn't keep quite as well as in the small box, but at least I don't get below 18 degrees in the pots at night anymore, even though it's only 16 at the top 😅👍. Since I switched to flowering, it was time to rinse off a bit with Clean Fruits :-) . Did them a lot of good. Crazy week with work and the girls. Day 37 and flowers are foaming nicely. Did give her a haircut and the leafs I removed were nice and green and healthy. After a few years of using Canna I can say its has grown on me as one of my favorite nutrient companies. Did have a mess this week with the pump kicking on by accident and pumping the girls with 3 gallons of nutrient water. No worries as the girls recover fast. When I grow autos or photo periods I give Cannas PK 13/14 from about 35-55. Then no more after that. The results at the end speak for themselves.

Day 77) 12/9 End of another week. Phone is fixed and pics are back. Day 74,75,76 there were no pics due to f'ked up phone but day 77 now has pics. This girl is doing well and still growing taller but I can tell she's at the end of her stretch. Flowers are smelling very sweet like berry and a hint of pine and candy and just sticky as hell. Buds are elongating up and down the stem with a nice 12-15 inch length but buds are forming and fattening slowly, could be the sativa side of her. Still drinking a gallon a water 💦 a day with nutes. Daily temps and humidity fluctuations may be a cause of slow bud growth and it may be my fault for trying too hard to keep environment inside tent and outside tent to the exact same but in reality according to natural science and popular findings it's evident that a swing in these conditions of not much more than 10 degrees/percent is expected between light and dark (silly me!) Here we are at the moment that we enjoy the most, the flowers are starting to form, our Green Cure CBD reveals the sex and of course like all Zamnesia plants I will be the father of two beautiful girls. One is growing straight and is further along in flowering but I will show it to you soon, I have focused a lot on this one in main - lining. It is a plant that has a good internodal distance so we have more time to shape it before the woodification and it lends itself very well to lst interventions even a little late. I managed to open it on the main line very well and the lateral branches are really, growing and stretching properly. We will not see the super productive trees of the autumn harvest but I am willing to bet that we will have lots of beauty and lots of resin in beautiful bush-sized plants. Wait for the uncle BreadandBuds.... We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start schedule that keeps the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a bit swollen, do not start immediately. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. This plant has a solid stench of pure ripe lemons. So much aroma and color in every bud, purples, to dark green, to lime green, to solid frost. This one definitely a fun strain to watch grow and tend too for the last few months. She’s definitely a hungry girl, seemed to be the only strain out of the three that accepted and thrived with full feed nutrients. Would definitely recommend this Strain to someone For a nice uplifting day smoke, also seems to do me good for some pain and stress relief.

I might switch the lights in the next days. Depending on her growth. Day44: Added some water and moved the camera a little further away. Day45: She felt lonely, so I got her a friend... Theobroma Cacao. New seedling that needs the warmth + humidity. Hopefully surviving winter. Day46: I decided to take some zoomed in stills of her. To show off her beauty. The purpling of the branches really make this lady something special. In some of the shots it might look like her leaves are yellowing, but it's just the angle of the light. You can see on the photo that I took from the top, that all leaves are a healthy dark green. At least I now have proof that she's a lady. She's short and stubby, but I'm not really growing for amount. I just neeed 50g, after all (hehe) Day47: She grew like a demon overnight. I'll check the height tomorrow.
