Since I’ve been using amended soil, this indicates Fractal is a heavy feeder. I'm still watering 1 gal per plant when I feed 2x/week. With the heat and humidity, I water daily but do not feed daily. I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

*Pre-flowers have micro trichomes upon formation, LOL. Based on my early observation, I predict that these will be frosty frosty on the trichomes. Added 20lbs of black lava rock as mulch, raising soil temp around 1 and a half degrees to 72.8F. Some nice little bud formations are creeping up already. Nice little foliar spray of some aminos to the underside of the leaf. Hard to guage or know how much the aminos help, but after reading how energy intensive it is for the plant to make them from scratch its something I feel I need to do as a habit. An EC (Electrical Conductivity) meter, one that's made for the soil, it's so useful, as it indirectly indicates soil moisture as well as salt mineral nutrient levels. Just pop your metre stick in the soil and if ec is low, then it's time to water. Once there is water to assist in the conduction of electricity, the EC" will kick back up. 0.3-1.8, if it stays low, then you know it's time to add more mineral salt ferts! While Electrical Conductivity primarily indicates the overall salt content in soil, pH provides information about the relative proportion of cations (positively charged ions) in the soil's salt capacity. High EC signifies a higher salt concentration, while pH reflects the balance of cations like calcium, magnesium, potassium, ammoniacal nitrogen, sodium, and hydrogen. Smaller leaves have less surface area for stomata to occupy, so the stomata are packed more densely to maintain adequate gas exchange. Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. OK guys I'm back after being away for 2 weeks. I've proceeded to a final transplantation into a 9L AirPot container, right before I left for vacations. Despite the transplantation, no special operation was done, I want to see how this clone is going to grow on its own and I don't have enough room for training / bending. A friend was in charge of the grow room while I was away, and she did a pretty good job. The clone is healthy, standing proud and praying the light. I started to build the manifold for 4 colas but some side branches have already reached the canopy, that clone wants to produce weight! She will remain under vegetative stage for 1~2 weeks before flipping into 12/12 light schedule. I can't wait to see her full of buds! Thanks for stopping by 👊

The Mango Kush queens, along with Lava Cake Pheno 1 and Pheno 2 (only 4–5 days old, but already catching up), were hand-selected to move forward toward flowering. Their roots were strong, white, and vibrant, ready to stretch and expand. Fabric pots were chosen for a reason: Why Fabric Pots? • Air pruning: Roots don’t circle and strangle—when they hit the pot’s breathable edge, they stop and branch instead. • Breathability: Improves oxygen flow to the root zone. • Drainage: Prevents overwatering and keeps the medium healthier longer. • Mobility & structure: They hold shape while allowing movement, especially useful early in veg. Whew, what a hot, humid and wet week. Although we had a major storm this week, Gorilla Cookies proved her strength to withstand:) This week I took the time to go to the Fast Buds website and read about the "plant appearance." FBA says Miss Gorilla Cookies will grow to a height of 150cm which is 59 inches. My Gorilla Cookies is 33 inches tall. So, I can boast about that, however, I can not boast about my Gorilla Cookies being "Stout and Bushy." I even looked on the FB website to see some pictures of other growers Gorilla Cookies and mine are tall and lean. BUT, my plant stems look very similar to the plant stems on FB website. I did stop using Miracle Grow and started giving my plant Advanced Nutrients!! I am hoping this will be good for bud growth. Fast Buds does boast Gorilla Cookies will be completed around 10 weeks and that I will " be amazed at the insane trichome production. Especially in the final weeks when she definitely packs on some weight and you see the buds getting white in resin and reeking of cookies and gas." I am excited to see what the next two weeks will produce. Miss Gorilla Cookies has definitely proven to be resilient because we have certainly had some tough weather to deal with and I gave my Gorilla Cookies Miracle Grow nutrients which I would never do again. I've been a bit confused about the age of my clones but I reached out to suppliers and got more details. Clones were cut on September 20, I transplanted on October 25 when I received. I'm thinking I should flip to flower end of November. Lots of bud sites after lst and bushy.. a bit short in my eyes but I know will stretch once in florer
