March 17 - 24 Growth is still going very well with lots of LST and defoliation. Business as usual with nutrients and the Blumat system seems dialed in a I prepare to leave them unattended for 5 days in April. Near the end of the week I installed a second net.

As week 5 came to a close and we move into week 6 of flowering, I am having really high hopes for the end result. The buds started to get some light orange hairs which is really nice and they are really starting to thicken up! Towards the end of week 5 the plants started to show early signs of burn on their leaf tips, so I started the week 6 feeding a little early. In week 6 we bring the EC down quite a bit as we get into the late stages of flower. I also recently switch to measuring with EC vs PPM for ease and accuracy. Also at the end of week 5 I did a calibration on my coco for each plant as week 6 nutrients are much lighter. Coco Calibration Method 1. Mix up nutrients. 2. Water plants as normal and measure runoff. 3. If runoff EC is not at or close to the inflow EC a. Water more and keep measuring runoff until the runoff is at or close to the inflow EC 4. Do steps 1-3 for all plants (One at a time) Tips: - I use a shop vacuum that I stick the end in the bottom of the pot saucers and leave it on while I water so it sucks the runoff as soon as it drains out the pots. Then I measure, empty and water again until I hit my targets) For this calibration, I ended up using around 6 gallons of nutrient solution. Watering technique used is to measure runoff at every watering and make sure we are staying as close as possible to the inflow EC. It does not matter how much water you need to put through the pots to get to the desired EC on runoff as that is a benefit of Coco. My main goal is to keep my runoff in check and the plants seem to do better than I have ever grown before! The smell off these ladies are amazing and strong. I don't have a carbon filter and enjoy her smells and aromas all day long as my desk is right next to my tent. There were no issues in Week 5. Plants continue to look amazing and the buds are continuing to bud up and structure very nice! I'm excited to see the end result after the ripening and flush stages. Also the colors that are soon to come! Stay tuned! ______________ We are 5 days into week 6 and the buds continue to grow fatter and fatter on a daily basis. I'm really dialing in my EC and making sure to mix it at 1.1 EC and making sure my runoff is from 1.1-1.4. I started playing with the mix as I am getting used to the grow schedule and how the base nutrients effect the EC. I have found that doing 50% of the low strength calendar hits me right at my target EC and I don't have to dilute my mixture after. The smells continue to be strong and fill my house up. The weight is starting to make the colas lean over which is nice because it's opening up the canopy to get more light in. I'm very excited to see what the buds look like in week 7 and then we are on to ripening stage, flush, and then finally harvest!!

04/01/2023 - 56 days since my little girl sprouted from a seed Third week of bloom for my NYC Diesel 🍋🍊 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - the girl responded well to the change in nutrients, so I continue to feed the same as last week when I adjusted the nutrients for flowering Jungle Environ X - bud stimulators 🌼 Bud Candy - bud stimulators 🌼 Atami - ATA Calmag - it is recommended to use Calmag when growing under LED lights I stopped the Hesi Root Complex - no longer recommended this week Training: LST: just a slight LST, I attached some small twigs with string to let more light shine on them 💡💡 Defoliation: I did more defoliation so that the leaves do not shade the already forming buds and the plant can breathe freely - this was necessary for NYC Diesel, it was very leafy 🍃🍃 Light: Mars Hydro TS1000, the girls are doing amazing under this great light, I can see a big difference compared to my past results 💡💡💓 In general: The girl is very strong, she has a strong stem - trunk, that is the basis for a proper plant 🌴. As the only girl in the tent, it's not a sativa, but a hybrid, which is fine with me, so the girl isn't as high as the others. Buds are already forming at the ends of the twigs 🌸 and there are many branches 🌾. It resembles a small dense bush. Lady Blueberry ist zur Number 1 im Höhenwachstum avanciert. Sie hat eindeutig alle Anderen hinter sich gelassen und es sieht nicht so aus, als würde sie diesen Vorsprung wieder aufgeben wollen. Leider ist ein kleineres Malheur passiert; als ich sie wegen eines bevorstehenden Gewitters, das dann doch nicht so stark wie angekündigt wurde, sichern wollte, ist einer der Hauptzweige im unteren Bereich angebrochen. Er wurde sorgfältig verschnürt an der Rißstelle und weiter oben, damit er sich nicht seitlich wegdrehen kann und doch noch abbricht. 😩😱😅 Ist auf einem Bild deutlich zu erkennen. Um mineralischen Defiziten vorzubeugen bekam sie eine Blattdüngung mit verdünntem Seetangextrakt. Sie ist mittlerweile so hoch mit Topf, dass ein Stuhl oder Leiter notwendig ist, um sie von oben zu fotografieren. Von mir aus kann sie nun das Höhenwachstum beenden, damit ich die Blüten später besser kontrollieren kann, aber sie wird mir den Gefallen nicht tun. Es macht wenig Sinn, sich über tolle, große Pflanzen zu freuen, die später verschimmeln, weil man in der Höhe nicht mehr kontrollieren kann und ein großer Teil der Ernte verloren geht. Alles schon gesehen und miterlebt. Nächste Woche kommt die Ausrüstung zur Erstellung von Komposttee (eine kleine Druckluftpumpe und das passende Rohr zur Umwälzung). Das soll viele, viele Mikroben aus meinem Wurmkompost vermehren und sich fleissig am Pflanzenwachstum und deren Gesundheit beteiligen. Es ist eine Neuheit für mich, wenigstens wird der Wurmkompost hier sinnvoll verbraucht. Etwas Humus vom Boden der Benjeshecke kommt auch noch rein. Alle 2-3 Wochen möchte ich mit Komposttee gießen. Und es wird Zeit für ein Top Layer in den Töpfen mit Hornmehl, Rinderdungpellets, Wurmkompost und etwas Erde. Es wird Bilder und Blubbervideos geben. Okay growmies, I'm into the final stretch with these girls. And will get ready to flush, And I just cannot wait. Lol .They look amazing they smell amazing and i feel proud to have grown such beautiful trees. They have like an orange vineyard smell to them so I'm very eager wonder about her taste. Start of Week 3 There was 5 inches of growth over the last 7 days. It is a total of 25inches now, when I started flower it was 16 inches. My guess is that it will get to around 32" I have two sections of plants growing from the same feeding resivour. For the first time ever I've decided to do a mid grow flush. I ran through 1-2gal of water on each 5 gal bucket. I use only perlite as medium so I figured that I wouldn't need much to flush. It all drained back to the main resivour and I disposed of it. I ran a 24hr cycle of straight PHed tallboy filtered tap water (160ppm) and then drained that again (340ppm). I refilled the resivour with fresh nutes and PHed again (1100ppm)

she was easy enough to grow had a few issues in veg but once in flower she took off well she likes a good stretch and gets frosty nice and early nothing to complain about except my mistakes with ph in veg and a few mistakes towards the end will definitely be doing it again in coco thanks to all who help comment and like and thanks to rqs once again for letting me try this new strain thanks for reading happy growing guys

Ok one has gone purple the other hasnt :) I’m still of the opinion that’s it’s too much calcium , maybe due to the microbes improving the circulation, next change tomorrow with out any cal mag we see what happens 🤞 Changed reservoir Thursday - Boxing Day Had a few issues with calcium with this strain , it first appeared two weeks ago , I m of the opinion that maybe the concentration got too high locking ou5 the nutrients , ph is perfect at 6.3 but still later on we are seeing it in the other plant , this could also be the boxes , as this is the first run with them we can see if it’s going to happen with the northern lights 🤞 Big one is trying to go purple , the gold in her leaves is quite amazing , a side product of too much calcium I think

They seem to be coming along fine, no real PH issues despite reusing old Promix, more low stress training :) ... I may flip in another week or 2..

Discovered a magnesium deficiency this week. Flushed and added Epsom salts

the girls have really taken off, things are going well, just trying to deal with my humidity. I do not have a dehumidifier, and the outside % is +60%....so it hard to bring it down too much. I think I may need to purchase on in the near future. Also would like to get C02 going but realize I'll need a dehumidifier first, so I went cheap and designed a C02 generator from my wine making supplies. It's producing bubbles, as you can see in the video, but not too sure how much its contributing, especially since I have the fan on for controlling the humidity. but it was fun to build

Una planta criada en excelente condiciones desde el comienzo hasta el final de su ciclo. Nunca demostró carencias ni excesos y tuvo un buen armazón para el momento de empezar a cogollar. Aún así, no salió mucha cantidad pero no tengo ningún tipo de queja respecto a la calidad. Cogollos bañados en tricomas y con un pegue increíble. Excelente genética.
