Super easygoing strain, and fun to grow. Looks like a nice yield but I'll have to update with weight after it's dry. This sweetie was grown in 6 gallons, from seed, under non adjustable lighting from seedling through harvest. Base nutes and cal mag. Ocean Forest/perlite in the bottom 3/4, Happy Frog/perlite on the top 1/4. Trained with a combo of scrog/lst techniques. The lights are two 50 dollar "1000 watt equivalent" Amazon LEDs, they say their max input is 280 volts though so I have no idea what grams to watts will be when the dry weight comes in. Day 73 Qualche giorno e raccolgo queste Crystal Candy XL e la Sweet Cheese rimasta nana (è la terza volta che faccio questo strain e ho sempre avuto piante mutanti). In quanto a odori le Crystal solito odore di caramelle gelatinose/gomma da masticare (fragola e meloni)mentre la Sweet Cheese sa di formaggio e pompelmo Tra un mese aggiornerò con le ultime foto 🖐️💪

30/07: Blüte-Tag 1 startet mit dem umstellen des Lichts auf 12/12. Die Pflanze ist gesund und entwickelt sich gut. Ich hätte gerne noch etwas gewartet, aber durch die Urlaubsplanung muss ich Sie leider schon in die Blüte schicken.

I am a little bit worried it’s going too slow (compared to reference grows from other diaries), but patience is hard and there’s still 3 to 4 weeks of flowering to be done. The breeder advises 7 to 8 weeks, which is a bit optimistic, but they also advise 9 weeks for optimal taste and a smoother effect. The girls still grew a bit vertically, so even 5 weeks into flower, they aren’t fully focused on the development of the buds. Maybe this week, some serious XL bud stacking will take place 😊. I had some problems this week with heat and humidity. For two days, temperatures were at 28 degrees with lights on; a bit too high, but nothing extreme. More problematic was RH: it oscillated a lot between 45 and 60% during lights on and peaked at 70% with lights off. There will be some dry weather the days ahead, so RH will probably stabilize around 50% the following days. Nevertheless, I increased the power of both fans and the exhaust to the max, so there’s more than enough airflow throughout the whole tent. I did some slight defoliation, but nothing extreme. I don’t want to stress them out in this phase and cause them to herm. Hence, I took away max. 2 leaves per plant per day and only when tucking away wasn’t possible. The run off EC is at 2.0-2.1, while 1.8 (close to 1.9) is going in. pH of the runoff is around 5.9, except Iris’ run off, that one is always at 5.5. This was a good week we say alot of growth and they seem like they've all recovered from the bad ph. Day 29 I topped Plant B and day 31 I topped the rest of them. Gave them 4 cups of water with 1 ml of calmag in it. Ph was at 6.4. Trying to plant some of the tops because why not. If they grow they grow. Day 33 I Transplanted into 1 gallon pots because the roots were filling and coming out of the bottom of the solo cup. Still in fox farms happy frog soil. Sprinkled some "great white" mycorrhizea in the soil. Transplanted went good.

Destiny has given me a wonderful climate so far but from the 18th the weather will change completely, precisely in the last 10 days of flowering which fortunately is very accelerated by the anomalous heat, especially at night. Typical late summer weather here, kinda for weed. First storm is expected on Saturday, I'm ready to protect them. I've made the last rearrangement of the tent, trying to give more room to the vigorous and overflowing Pineapple Kush so I've rised the roof to 110". The plants are all carefully sprayed with thyme extract to control mites infection, it seems to work, infection is stable from 1 week. I kill manually 20/30 bedbugs a day. During nighttime, maybe a monster grasshopper, is munching some leaves, at this point I don't care, I have to defoliate anyway and these bastards don't chew buds, for now. She's flowering fast now, I hope she will finish before October rains. Every side branches is thicker as the sister's main branch. Expected harvest time october 1st/2nd week. This will be a hard challenge to complete flowering without mold issues. If she doesn't gave to me at least 2lbs of weed, I'll kill her. growing pretty fast

Had an unexpected 50 mph thunderstorm strike last Tuesday. It broke one Sour Strawberry plant in half. The RuntzLayerCake was bent over thirty degrees. Many limbs broken and bent on the plants. I had to duct tape several main stems as you’ll see in the video. The four caged plants proved stability for the others. Second grow. Lesson learned. All the plants are now trussed with string and are very healthy. Thanks for looking in this week, and let me know your thoughts.

This was a pretty explosive week for growth! These girls really took off this week! I have been topping off the res with just plain RO water this week after the change and for this run I have kept the strength of the nutrients pretty low and have been hanging around 0.6 EC, I don't see much of a need to increase at all. I am going to continue to keep a lower EC and just watch the plants. I think last run I may have fed a little hot a time or two so gonna go low and slow this run and it has been working out so far. I will be putting my trellis net up either today or tomorrow because I think I am really going to need it this run. I noticed yesterday that it looks like these girls are showing signs of entering the flowering phase so I need to get set up and be prepared for the stretch! I'm getting a little nervous about the height of the plants as well because they are growing fairly tall pretty quick, but hopefully the net will help a bit. Week 5 The plants are exploding! Its just one week to the last update. The Durban Poison are the 4 plants on the top right. The whole bunch of them are very happy with the soil mixture and all the fertilizer I added. and i think the mycrorhizae from the forest-soil connected already to the plant roots, which is fckn good news! All plants are looking super healthy! And more good news 3 out of the 4 plants are females. The test results from the lab came yesterday 💪 And apperently the seed sexing method worked quite well for 3 out of 4, very crazy! One seed that i idnetified as male turned out to be female. Only 2 more weeks and then these beauties will go outside! I m getting so excited! Next update in 2 weeks! I cant wait hahaha 💪💪🎉

Week 4 flower are still looking great. Buds are fattening up nicely through the whole tent but these ladies are especially nice. My time trying Seedsman seeds and I am very impressed. I have more seedsman stains I will be trying moving forward. No top dress until next week when they will get their final feeding.
