Welcome to Flower Week 3 of Sensi Seeds Karate Kid I'm excited to share my grow journey with you from my Sensi Seeds Project . Karate Kid got a Hard Start and also a lot of Problems After transplanting in her 16litre pot as the only Strain from this Round For this Project , I’ve chosen the Feminized Photo Strain Karate Kid : Here’s what I’m working with: • 🌱 Tent: 120x60x80 • 🧑‍🌾 Breeder Company: Sensi Seeds • 💧Strain Info : 25-33% • ⏳ Flowering Time: 8-10weeks

11/3 - Today is technically the first day of Week 5 and also the first day I could see a visible drop in her water level since her last check-in (~12 hours apart). As a result, her ppms shot up to around 800. I diluted the solution with straight tap (7.5pH, 170ppm) since her pH was registering around 5.3. This brought her up to 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would have liked to adjust her pH more, but the water level ended up at the bottom of the basket. I'll adjust further as necessary. The other day while attempting to LST her top branches, they ended up snapping off, so I just topped her down one node and broadened her other LST to make her as squat as possible. Once I am able to find a suitable individual ScrOG screen, I will put it on her. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. The first of which is a visible difference between her foliage density in a span of 36 hours. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 645ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. Hey now, this week went pretty good, the buds are about done bulking up, and just waiting on the trichomes, I was really hoping she would be about ready, but I think she needs another week to week and a half total. The buds are rock hard, and super sticky. I have no clue what she will yield because the colas are not that thick, but there are definitely alot of them. I plan to squeeze her into rosin, and hopefully I can break the 25% mark for the first time with her, but we will see. Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. Flushed last week and I'll flush this week too. I like to flush, I get better taste because of it. I'm pleased with this strain. The buds are hard and have a good smell and the plant are holding up their branches covered in buds. I see a couple of branches heading for the floor though. That's my way of gauging how heavy my buds are. When I water later, I'll tie them up. This is the last week for these lovely girls. Smells like metallic skunk with some sweet orange undertones in the basement. But when I touch the buds and smell my fingers, I get more of a sweet musky orange skunky smell. Smells delicious. Not just a straight cat pee smell, but something I might want to smoke, with some flavor to it. I'll post some pictures before I harvest next week. Ok. Be Great. Chuck.

End of week 22: Overal it was a good run with the Shamans from @DutchPassion_Official . Didn't had mayor problems besides having to harvest them earlyer. I really wanted to flower them another 2 weeks but the weather/climate didn't allow me to. Still the buds came out decent as you can see for an early harvest. I will cure those buds for some time in my pots before they get smoked and will update how much weight I got out of the two plants. As you can see I made the bigger buds smaller. There is no use for me to keep big buds for showing off. Big buds just have big long stems in it, harder to dry and to fill your cure pots with.

I think she start to look delicious 28/7 she really start to smell good 30/7 give her this morning the first time green sensation and build it up to 0,5 in the next week that starts tomorrow ☘️

Probably looking at next week for a tentative flush and harvest. Some leaves starting to yellow from maturation, and pistils are getting to where they need to be, with some new white ones still being thrown up on both plants. The smell is strong and exquisite, pungent and sweet. Resin production also looks to be coming along nicely, covering leaves alongside frosty trichomes. Quite a few buds and whole branches have that snow covered look that can’t be beat. Won’t be able to hand water this week so leaving it to the auto waterer with reduced nute concentration. Cheers
