Spent a couple hours tonight making a few small adjustments to the grow. Did a fresh water swap again this week as a lot of the buckets were getting close to dry. Took the time to add some screws on each of the bucket lids to make some good anchor points for some LST to open up the canopies. Picked up a bag of clay pebbles to make sure the net pots were filled to the top to help block light/heat from getting inside the bucket and a roll of insulation wrap for the buckets. Last week the temps of the water started to creep up to about 72-74 in the day so wanted to try and get the temps back down to below 70. I also ordered 4.5” air stone discs for each bucket to replace the underwhelming 1” ball airstones I’ve been using. Been meaning to do this for awhile now and go once my schedule and adhd didn’t get in the way and they will be in tomorrow lol.

Lights - 16-18” from canopy @ 60% Will be increasing lights to 70% and running 13/11 after a day or so for the following 2 weeks (hoping to help increase the density of the buds during weeks 5-7)
Overall I’m happy with how everything has been going with this grow. Where I was hoping to get to try out the current culture setup the weather here has went from snow storms to 73 degrees and back and forth over the past few weeks. Once I get the mini split installed in the actual grow room this won’t be an issue….just need to find the time to get it done 🙄😫. If things stay on track with this grow I’m hoping to pull at least 4lbs of dry weight 🤞🏽
The next grow I’ve been thinking of picking out 2 strains from my grows thus far and running 18 plants of each strain (considering i have 2 -18 site current culture systems) Want to focus on yield for the next grow. Want to aim for 10-12 pounds. Will most likely be trying out an outdoor grow as well since the timing will be perfect to do an outdoor run.

Hey everyone ☺️.
After 60 hours, the lady's case was already open :-).
Today the seed was placed in soil :-).
I only use the soil for cultivation because I have it left and it has to go slowly :-).
When repotting, it comes in Canna Coco 👍.
I watered the soil with some Canna Rizotonic before the seeds got 1 cm under the soil :-).
After that, the pot was placed under a hood in which I sprayed clay every day so that the humidity is between 80-90%.
I do this for the first few days until the head looks out of the earth.
From this point on, I open the hood at the upper opening bit by bit every few days so that you can slowly get used to 65% humidity before the hood comes down.
It is also only poured when the roots are right, until then the earth is sprayed. Which training I will use I will decide spontaneously when the time comes :-).

hey hey growmies.
Week 1 went well, not much to add here other than my first rodeo with Kratky seems to be turning out ok, I am a bit worried with how fast these roots grow. I might have to move to a bigger container sooner than I hope.
Lower leaves are pretty much goners from transplant shock, its ok, she'll recover and get used to her new grow environment.
LST will probably start next week, I'm considering not topping this Runtz lady, I will have the space for her to grow tall as the Flower tent will be available in a couple weeks at most. And I look forward to taming this strain, I have seen some crazy phenos here on GD

Gary Payton the name speaks for itself. The plant already smells strong and it has leaves like a skunk plant but mixed with more modern leaves. I have a feeling this one is gonna full stack big colas

🗓️ Veg – Week 4 complete (2 days late 😅)
Nothing but good news this week:
The 15L pots are already fully rooted after just one week – much faster than expected.
The plants are looking healthy and full of energy 🌿
I’m still going very light on the nutrients – currently at about 50% of the Advanced Nutrients schedule.
Still, they’re clearly starting to take in more – you can feel the momentum building 🚀
Regular LST has also paid off – the structure is opening up nicely, staying compact and well-exposed to light 🔧🌱
And here’s a major milestone to wrap up veg:
I switched to 12/12 right at the beginning of Week 5 – flowering phase is officially on! 🌸

6/10/25 starting week 2 of flowering and this plant is stacking hard already and praying very beautifully. i have high hopes for these genetics. hoping i dont regret not taking clones of this

This grow was stressful and very informative. I learned alot about what the plants want/need. Love having grow diaries to keep track of everything in such detail. I will definitely grow more Humboldt Apple Blossom in the future so I can see what the strain can really do.

First week of flower gone! They are streching nicely, I'm stacking up the EC to give a generative stimulus. Having trouble with the temperature, there's a heat wave going on and I dont have A/C...at least it's not mold! They are holding up nicely, I'm getting a humidifier to help out. Clones are stating to show roots and callus.

So she was chopped (wet trimmed) yesterday (F74) and is now hanging up to dry at 55% RH and temps between 15 and 18ºc.
I made fresh frozen dry ice hash today using a 160 micron bubble bag, a flat surface, 8kg of dry ice and a couple 5 gal buckets. I already have the weights for that, which far exceeded my expectations. Those figures I will post once she is dried and in 1 quart screw top glass jars.
People suppose dry ice hash is inferior quality vs bubble hash. I am not experienced enough to comment on that but must say it is extremely easy to make hash with dry ice, it took 40 mins to process 995g of trim which included sugar leaves, some stems and popcorn buds. I then pressed it into 3.5g briquettes for storage using a pollen press. As you can see from videos, this stuff is all blonde - and after already trying some today with some friends, it knocked our boots off!
Will be back in 5-7 days with harvest figures, smoke analysis and other details!

P.s I ticked defoliation this week - the only week I intentionally cut any leaves off for the entire grow 😉

Day 48 - defoliation rotate plants and fed with 1.5l each @6.5 ph
Day 51 - more defoliation , rotated plants again and gave 1.5l @6ph full week 2 nutes
Day 53 - doing some testing here I again gave another full nutes with this feeding to see when it starts showing some nute burn. gave each plant 1.5l each full week 2 nutes @5.8ph

3/23:
I flushed the shortie for the first time today with about 10 gallons of warm filtered water and Sledgehammer. I'll flush her again in several days, let her dry back out a bit and stick her in the dark for a day before I sneak up on her with my lopping shears.
I had let them go totally dry for a few days, so I fed the taller one with about 3/4 gallon including terpinator, signal, sweet & sticky, cal-mag, armor si, cha ching, tiger bloom, big bloom, and humic acid. This was her last feeding with any nutes, but I'll probably water her with some sweet & sticky and terpinator once more before flushing.
3/27:
She wasn't completely dry yet, but I went ahead and flushed the shortie again today with about 8 gallons of warm filtered water. That's it for her....I'll give her another few days in the 'sun', and I've put a 12w MiracleLED blue bulb about 4 inches away from her, along with a 22w blue panel above her and the other shortie to make her think it's wintertime and maybe get her to put on a thicker coat of trichomes before she finishes.
I gave the bigger one about 3/4 gallon including sweet & sticky, signal, terpinator, cal-mag and a little bit of cha ching. She'll get flushed for the first time once she's dry. This strain smells amazing!

The Pineapple Express is growing very well, it was in the critical moment, the first "topping" took a minimum but it performed very well and the new brunches are ready together with some beautiful solar panel leaves.

Hey everyone! Another week down for the Mental Rainbows, and the two that have always shown that extra gear have absolutely exploded in terms of height and volume. What excites me most is that their stems have thickened up proportionally. They look invincible and ready to produce some seriously impressive colas. The other two, the ones that struggled from the very beginning, simply haven't kept pace. They're in good health overall, no complaints there, but they haven't grown like their sisters and inside the box they're clearly the underdogs. It is what it is.
On the feeding side, EC has been nudged up by 0.1 as runoff was consistently reading below input values. On the environmental front, VPD is still something I'm actively managing as humidity keeps climbing beyond what the dehumidifier can handle alone. If it stays above 65% heading into the final weeks, a second unit will be joining the setup to protect bud quality and density at harvest. First pistils have started showing up, so bud formation is officially underway and Big Bud is now part of the stack to support it.

There's soooooo much and it smells great. I had a 3x3 for drying but resorted to just drying in the grow tent since I'm not sure if it would have all fit.
I will not be using a SCROG especially with Autopots and this light as it leaves no room for me to get in and train.
Will post final results in ~10 days or so.
