Day22 Minor lst but that’s about it. She’s doing well and I just chopped her sister today, this girl and a few more left of this cultivar. Thinking we found the keeper already but only the cure will tell for sure.

Acapulco Gold has just reached the maximum height available! 😅 The flowers are coming in beautifully, despite the less than stellar growing conditions. I must say I am very pleased with the seeds from WeedSeedsExpress. First time using their genetics, and they have been impressive, to say the least! Acapulco Gold Auto has really started focusing on the buds, and they are really interesting looking flowers 🤞 9.9.25: I have done a large defoliation. Removing the fan leaves on the lower branches. As well as some on the inside of the plant. Also, I removed some of the leaves that weren't looking so good. The leaves are yellowing out on the older leaves, whilst the new leaves are becoming much darker. I decided to add in a bud building PK boosters this week. I used Bud Explosion and seaweed extract as well as Sea K. I'm really trying to make the most out of this plant and will try to get a personal record in the yeild. I lollipoped last week, and this defoliation will be the last thing that I will do to the plant. I will be top dress next week for the Ecothrive Bloom, Life Cycle, Diatomaceous Earth, and Cinnamon. This will be one of the last, depending on how quickly we progress here. I am having a problem judging the water requirements as the plant itself now weighs a LOT! This isn't good for me because I am not the best of judging without lifting the pots. Obviously, the pot is much heavier now because the plant has gotten so big. I'm trying 2 x 6.5L feedings this week, I should go up to 3 or more next week, probably. I am constantly moving the plant daily to evenly distribute the light to the plant. That's what happened this week. I'm very pleased with this plant in general, and this weeks progress has been very good. I'm more than happy! Here is what I did this week. 4.9.25: I watered with 6.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 with; 💜 3 TSP Cal-Mag 💜 1.5 TSP Bud Explosion PH: 6.1 PPM: 1120 9.9.25: I watered with 6.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; 💜 20ml Seaweed extract 💜 4.5 TSP Sea K(elp) PH: 6.2 PPM: 599 That's all this week, I'm very pleased with this weeks progress. Good week loads of growth, its getting as tall as I can handle so hopefully not too much more height. I have started the bloom nutes and stopped feeding grow but ill keep the root stim for a week or 2 more. I've been taking leaves gradually as they block out light but trying to keep plenty. It's drinking loads and looks nice an healthy flowers are coming in nicely can't wait to see some frost and the buds start to fatten. Happy smoking 🚬

This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.

The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. She’s slowed down on her stretch and started to produce flowers! She very sturdy and has very thick stems and sun branches. I’m intrigued to how she’s going to yield as she’s so huge and full of vigor as she was nearly a couple of weeks behind when I started her and look at her she’s a beast! Next I switch over to over drive for 2 weeks then initiate flush! So close but yet so far ya know 😉

gave Gaia green bloom last week and just been watering with cal mag. Starting to get this fruity mango smell

The plant has really jumped in size 20 inches I have started out using 1.25mls (Dutch nutrients bloom a/b) per L using 2 gallons of water each watering and letting water drain checking the ph of the drainage water as well and it's the same ph going in as going out 6.2

Blueberry Muffin F21 by Humboldt Seed Co. BBM4 ( the tallest one) smells incredibly fruity. The others havent developed a strong smell yet

Day 64 - Starting week 10 and haven’t really had any issues so far. She’s definitely a lengthy girl and hoping the bud development will catch up to her soon. She’s frosty as hell all over and it’s looking like she’s gonna need some water and nutes in the next day or two. Day 65 - Gave the girl 2 gallons of water and nutes today and she’s still chugging along nicely. She’s still budding nicely but not sure how well she’s going to develop them with how lengthy and spacing between everything but I’m sure things will work just fine. Day 66 - Everything is going good with girl still. She’ll have some more room to stretch outward come this weekend when I chop a plant. Other than that just watching her buds frost over and grow. She’s a bit behind with the watering schedule but will still be getting some by Wednesday. Day 67 - All still looking good and buds are still forming and fattening. Definitely getting nice and frosty all over and she’s smelling amazing. She won’t be needing any water tomorrow like my other two but should be ready on Wednesday. Other than that, just keeping the leaves tucked to keep her as opened as possible. Day 68 - I thought she still had some time before giving her water and nutes but she was dry today and gave her 2 gallons. She’s got more room to stretch out now that I put my Cherry Cookies into 72 hours of darkness. Day 69 - Nearing the end of week 10 and everything is going great. She’s good on water for a few days and just took her out for a few updated pics. She’s back in the tent and tucked the leaves some more. She already unbelievably frosty already and can’t wait to see her when the buds really start getting fat. Day 70 - The end of week 10 and all is looking good! Just letting her do her thing and fatten and frost up. She’s definitely still got several weeks left and another couple of days until she needs more water.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Empezamos su día 16 de floración con un buen puñado de nutrientes repartidos en dos tomas. Las plantas ya desprenden un ligero olor generalizado, hora de encender filtro y más potencia al extractor. Dentro de unos días dejarán de estirarse para centrarse en la producción de las colas, hasta entonces, haremos la última defoliación de bajos para dirigir la ventilación en ese punto, así, por mucha humedad que tengamos, jamás tendremos hongos.
