Today was transplant day for my two white widow ladies. They’ve come such a long way since I first germinated them. I now have more time to stay on top of them so it’s only up from here. We’re 58 days from seedling and day 51 of veg. Will be flipping to flower once they get to the desired height of my choice. I topped dressed the soil with 5 tbsp of Earth Dust Base and waterd at a pH of 6.9. Catch yall on the next update! ✌️🏾

Growing this popsicle cake definitely had its ups and downs. What started out looking like a dud of a seed turned out to be something pretty spectacular. Stacks the buds nicely to fill up the whole colas, super frosty, with an un godly stench of sweaty dirty socks. Still in the curing process but definitely has a heavy indica punch!

November 2nd. 33 days post flip. Nothing crazy this week. Very light defoliation every couple days. At this point I am guaranteed no more defoliation to day 49. Along with this nothing but water this week. Plants should be able to get to the finish line with no added nutrients I’m really happy with bud development so far. They are not the largest yet but they are very very healthy and plentiful. They should really fatten up over these next few weeks. Temps have been running around 82 during the day. Because of this I’ll be adding two more small fans to the tent. One blowing on the medic grow, and one along the bottom of the canopy. I am doing this to ensure these buds stay compact. Both of the clones of the purple marmalades could not be happier. Really happy in their pots growing away slowly. The trick to keeping them small is using small fabric pots so their roots air prune, 24h light to severely limit root development and heavy defoliations whenever they get too happy. At this point in flower it is time to start giving more detailed descriptions of our 3 phenos so here we go. Plant#1(cherry chunks): 27” tall. Musty almost earthy scent. Kinda similar to pine. Weak scent so far. Appears to have the most densely populated Trichomes out of these three plants. Plant #2(Purple Marmalades): 30” tall. Smells absolutely insane. Like this is a terp monster. Very citrusy. Smells exactly like grapefruit. Very high concentration of valencene. Extremely strong scent. Also appears this one will have the largest buds of the three but only time can tell here. This one is my favorite one so far Plant #3(Purple Marmalade): 28” tall. Light scent of pepper mixed with a tiny bit of lemon. This one is the least exciting so far but only time will tell how it will turn out. As always guys. Thank you for following along and reading my updates. It’s a pleasure growing with you guys. God bless!

🍋🍒 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 6 From Seed (Week 2 Flower · 12/12 From Seed) Hello everyone 👋 Quick recap and a warm welcome to anyone joining the diary now, here’s where we are and how we got here. 🌱 From Seed to Now, Quick Context These Lemon Cherry Gelato girls have been grown 12/12 from seed, and we are now entering what we consider Week 2 of flower / transition. Pre-flowers are clearly visible, stacking has begun, and the stretch is now turning into early bulk. They are in that beautiful in-between phase where they still look slightly vegetative, but their behavior is unmistakably flowering. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day temperature: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% It’s still a bit cold outside, but as plant mass increases, lighting intensity goes up, and under-canopy lighting is added, the tent itself has become a stronger heat source. This allowed us to stabilize conditions without forcing anything, exactly how we like it. • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on plant size and position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm • Airflow: unchanged • vortex extraction • cross-winds with multiple fans • constant, gentle movement across the canopy ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks an important nutritional transition. • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 From this point forward, all feedings will be pH 6.0 and above. The reason is simple: as flowering progresses, plants shift their nutrient uptake priorities, and slightly higher pH improves availability of key elements needed for bloom development. Nutrient Change • Introduced: Terra Bloom — 5 ml / L • Removed: Terra Grow This change is happening now, not earlier, because the plants have clearly entered the flowering transition. There’s no rush, no shock, just following the plant’s signals. The current recipe (our “Plagron” approach) continues to perform exceptionally well, and plant response has been outstanding so far. ⸻ 🌿 Training & Plant Handling We are continuing with a very minimal-stress approach: • No topping • No aggressive defoliation • Only leaf bending and leaf tucking This method keeps the structure open, exposes bud sites naturally, and avoids recovery downtime. Simple, effective, and extremely practical, sometimes simplicity isn’t laziness, it’s efficiency. The results speak for themselves: • strong branching • compact “ball” formations • clean stacking • healthy color fade beginning naturally ⸻ 📸 Visual Progress This update includes a large set of photos (studio + tent shots) to clearly show: • the transition phase • stretch turning into bulk • visible growth differences over just one week Every time the tent doors open, growth is noticeable, and comparing earlier photos to the latest ones makes that even clearer. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Over the coming weeks: • stretch will gradually slow • bulk and stacking will take over • plant handling will be reduced even further • stability becomes the priority What not to expect: • heavy pruning • forced corrections • unnecessary interventions At this stage, the goal is to let the plants do what they already know how to do. ⸻ 🙏 Thanks Big thank you to: • everyone following along • newcomers and long-time readers • supporters, critics, observers, all welcome • the Grow Diaries Team and platform • and all sponsors backing the journey This is a key week in the run, and we’re excited to document it properly and share the learning with the community. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Hoping that this week will not be a tennis match with my PH and my nutrient solution. Last week I saw my solution drop a full point in a matter of hours - consistently. I also ditched the PH up/down dosers crutch two grows ago, and I am not missing it as the intel is far better without them. IMO PH dosers do not give you real-time feeding feel from your plant - yet they adjust your PH to the "Perfect" level. Less is more in this craft, and in more ways than not. There is a balance between technology, automation, efficiency and most importantly - humans. If we removed the human element out of a grow, the product will be inferior, right? - trichome check showed mostly cloudy, with a few random amber if one looks hard enough. She’s ripening nice and reservoir running fairly normal for late flower. Wonder if that zero water filters-gone-bad caused my major PH crashes. Fed her KookBloom dry only this week and now in a 2 day flush. Should be about 10% amber.

About this diary> So I've made it to the end! This baby didnt die on me! This diary was half a record for myself, to keep improving and contrasting against my future grows in and out of this wonderful platform (growdiaries), and half a tutorial for other noobs like me. That's why I wrote somewhat long explanations about some of the things I myself found confusing during this and last grow. I also repeated myself, but again mostly because I was trying to learn while doing. I got some help from other growers in the community, which was very nice, and different from trying to figuring out everything by oneself. This girl stretched a lot! from about 30 cm at the end of flower to about 90 cm before harvest, it survived nutrient burn, an accident were I dropped something heavy on her on flower, accidentally chopping a branch during LST and spider mites. However, still yielded nicely. I cant imagine what these genetics could become in the hands of a master grower!! About the growing conditions> The idea of the grow was, not only to learn how to grow a somewhat long flowering strain (6 week veg, 10 weeks flower) but also doing it very cheaply. I think the most expensive thing I bought was the seed from RQS. I built my own light fixture (from 4x 4.00CAD COBs from aliexpress), some cardboard, wire, sticks, tape and aluminum foil. I also used dollar store nutrients (like 15% of a 15-15-15 veg mix, and a 15-30-15 flowering mix). I timed this strain to finish a few weeks before the temperature really starts dropping outside, and was always able to keep it around 20-29C without any air conditioner/heater. About growing amnesia haze> I harvested this plant on the early side, but I found it a challenge not to harvest earlier! Since many weeks ago the delicious smell has been filling the room and some parts of the house... Plus, its a long wait... However, I think it was very well rewarded :) As I said, the high is creative, giggly, energetic and uplifting, at least from the premature samples we got. I will update this once the real deal is dry and cured :) About the harvest> Well in terms of numbers, I will update this when the weed is done drying, but I can do an estimate right now... each sample I took weighted about 1.45g wet, and dried to a 25% of that (0.35 g each)... It means that what I weighted from the harvest (412.86g + a bunch of trim) would probably weight about 100g when dry... Let's see how it goes in a week or two :)

Week 2 and the girls are looking more yellow and funky than I like. I'm pretty sure my soil is just way too hot. I tried flushing it through, but that just seemed to lead to general overwatering issues. I'm planning on transplanting to larger pots with more neutral soil this weekend and hope that will help straighten things out.

Fall weather is here this week. It has cooled down tremendously which means my grow tent isn't getting too hot for my girls. This is week 5 of flowering. The website says it could flower up to 10 weeks. I took Sexy Moma outside so I could get some good pictures of her. Take a look at her packed, frosty buds! I also used my max-see to take some close up pictures as well. She needs a few more weeks before she is ready to harvest. She smells wonderful!

Day 28 flowering: Hi all. The mango girls are continuing to swell with lots of fresh pistils and looking nice and crispy too. They are all beginning to smell so sweet of the mango that they take their name from. A real subtle smell that I haven't had before in a strain . The 3 older plants have been stripped out a littlenand some of their big fans removed for airflow but I did not go too aggressive on them as I did not want to slow them down too much They are not too tall and would easily train even lower for a stealth grow. The buds themselves are a nice thickness and show some promise to join up in the coming weeks for mini donkey dicks.( sorry for the term but easiest verbal to visual cue.lol) I initially thought the node spacing on a few was a little wide but seeing how they are forming , this is less of a concern. the #4 at her day 21 is looking ok but her pot had feed pellets used as the nutes and she may be too overfed. I will use just water for her future feeds now. I am very impressed with how easy these are growing and with very little effort needed from me now beside waterings. I am hoping by keeping so much of the leaf intact that it doesn't stop the development within the deeper canopy. There are some really nicely forming buds in there so airflow is a vital concern now they can only get even fatter from here lol be safe and well.
