Que decir os esta semana?!? Pues os dejo un vídeo en Alta Definición 4K, que os dejará ver los aspectos preciosos que se han desarrollado en los últimos 10 días. Primer aspecto de relieve, la cantidad muy elevada que he estimado tener hasta el momento y que puede que se encuentre en casi 350g sin secar y es muy sencillo, el árbol Sativa que se diseñó con el ScroG, ha tenido un crecimiento fantástico conectando internudos que tenían un espacio que no dejaba anticipar que los cogollos se fueran a unir unos a otros. La descripción de la cepa, dava a la Strawberry Cheesecake Automática de Barney's como un "cultivar" con posibilidad de yeld/m² sobrepasando los 600g/m² y la matemática de mi grow tent nos dice sin lugar a duda que tenemos una área de 0,7 m² o sea que la cuenta de productividad nos enseña que de modo muy claro estaremos por arriba en lo expectable y con lo que está diseñado en la estructura de cogollos, se han formado con los supercropping y el Scrog, al menos 6 colas que tendrán como casi 30 cms, sobre las ramas y un espesor casi como una lata estrecha de bebida y en el vídeo es muy presente lo que os digo. Después y en una línea alternativa nos ha salido adelante, pero muy justa, la Critical Jack Herer de Delicious Seeds. Ambas las cepas son fenomenales cuanto a la calidad de sus terpenos y las hojas de azúcar y porcentaje de resinas es muy elevada...pese a que como he ya referido en la pasada entrada del diário, que las dos cepas no son las más aromáticas y eso no representa un problema...o a lo mejor, si olieran mucho, ahí si tendríamos un problema que cualquier productor puede que tenga si las familias Skunk,Haze, Cheese o Sours se presentan a "grow". Se de experiencia sobrada que cuando empezemos la seca en el saco red y bajando la humedad de la habitación para un nivel aceptable en la seca de los cogollos (rondando los 40%) seguro tendremos un olor mucho más intenso y en esos momentos y por que el armario y el área de red de secado se encuentran en la habitación más interior de mi piso, tendremos por precaución el cuidado de a diário, quemar un par de astillas de incienso de preferencia, el sándalo de Sri Sai Baba, que es un increíble disfraz del olor canábico. Por mis cuentas tendremos más 10 a 14 dias de Strawberry Cheesecake, antes del flush final y después a los 6 días del flush, haremos el "sacrificio" de esta bella planta. Cuanto a la Critical Jack Herer, tengo seguro que todavía tendremos como al menos más 3 semanas como mínimo, para la engorda de cogollos y para la maduración de pistilos y terpenos. Es muy claro para mí, que la temporada de otoño 2022 y por que nos han tocado dos perfectos fenótipos Sativa, tardarían mucho más que los 80 días que cuando consulte las caracterizaciones de las cepas, pensé en principio que tendría y queda muy claro que con las Indicas que se anunciaban y con la evidencia de Sativas que al final nos salieron, tendríamos más tiempo de grow. O sea que esta temporada de otoño del 2022 que con el seedling, empezado el día 12 de septiembre en las dos cepas, tardará al menos en una de ellas, a desarrolarase casi como se de una fotoperiodica se tratara. Si lo sé plantaría fotoperiodicas y eso sí, por el tiempo consumido en esta temporada, tengo muy presente que las opciones para la primavera 2023 se decantan, de momento y de modo muy claro, por plantar tan solo una fotoperiodica que pueda garantizar un elevadísimo yeld y una calidad sobresaliente y en este momento, mis opciones se decantan por el experimento de grow con la cepa Bay Burger de Delicious Seeds, con su potencial de producción de casi 1kg/m² y su impresionante cantidad de THC que sobrepasa los 27%. 6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. I hope you enjoy the pics. 6/15/2023 Week 10- Day 3 of Flower (Day 133 overall) Auto Pilot Day 8.. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

The white widow is a few days into flowering and the Northern Lights looks to be in preflower. I'm adding 5ml of sensi bloom part A and B per gallon of water, and 3ml of big bud

End of Week 3 of Flower, lots of buds showing, trichomes developing, stretching for the light. Layed of the Flora Gro and micro this watering. Added a drop per gallon of Superthrive. Light defoliation as well to open up inner bud sights.

the plants are pretty low because i only got 1square meter coverage with the leds. The plants will stretch enough to fill the net and put on some weight. The video is from day 5 flowering right after i put the net above them, just enough to push the branches a bit open so the light reaches more bud sites.

I use clear cups to see when the roots are hitting the side wall so I know when to transplant. (Cups are inside another dark cup so no light hits the root zone) They were pretty well rooted up by day 9 and I was able to transplant into my 5 gallon AC Infinity Fabric Pot. Still going super light on the nutrient mix because the soil is mixed well with additives. When I transplanted I was sure to hit the root zone throughly with Mykos Mycorrhizae Granular and Great White. Soil mix: 25% Fox Farm Happy Frog 25% Worm Castings 25% Fox Farm Ocean Forest 25% Peralite 1/4 cup of Mykos Mycorrhizae Granular mixed into soil. This little plant is now 100% into this soil blend and hopefully starts to explode! That’s why I’m going so light on my feedings.

Week 14 Day 98 Almost time, leaves yellowing, drinking slow, white pistols starting to orange and shrink, bottom buds getting bigger, & small amount of amber trichomes starting to appear. Giving the larger two only full tilt nutes before flushing. Keeping the smallest on extended bloom time.

******** Week 9 - Feb 3 to 9/20 (Days 57 - 63 from seed popping out) She has continued to swell this week and stacking her buds. The hairs are turning this week. Kind of a boring week in a way because she has been such an awesome girl to grow!! Have not spent anytime looking at Trich colour this week.....too early anyway. What I have reflected on is that this girl has been very impressive to grow even though I have thrown curve balls at her. A little more attention to the LST ensuring a more even canopy and lighten the feedings, this girl can impress!😍 I wouldn’t get let her go in a tent as she will likely be kissing the light at some point😃 XL strain anyways.💪 On bigger branches I would clip off another node lower than I did to give a little more energy to fill in the tops. Not sure this girls top colas will fill in as much as one would like but........take your time girl😀 Much debate this week over how long she will run in order to determine her last feed.🤪 She had her last feed three times😃 but it was finally Saturday Feb 8, Day 62 as the last day of feed. Plan it to just flush with water and Rezin & Liquid Weight to the end.....or early 70’s anyway. Changed the light schedule again this week. Moved her to 19.5 hours of light because she is still not falling to sleep at lights out. Given she has been very green and tips were burnt a fair bit, will likely use Flawless Finish to flush the medium. Little more detail: Feb 3/20 - Day 57 - Water feed today. Runoff in tray was 6.3pH from yesterday. - 3L plain water. 30ppm and 5.8pH going in. - One minute she looks to be swelling and then others you think she is stalling.....”watched pot” idea. Feb 4/20 - Day 58 - Full feed today. Pot still had some weight. - 3L off full feed with 1125ppm and 6.05pH - Runoff water in tray before feed: 1900ppm and 6.5pH - Runoff water in tray after feed: 1800ppm and 6.3pH - Heavy leaf strip today. She is sticky :) Feb 5/20 - Day 59 - nothing today. - noticing more red hairs today....starting to finish more.....lower is still nice and white.....harvest in stages???? - Light cycle changed to 19.5hrs on and 4.5hrs off. Feb 6/20 - Day 60 - Verify medium today....close to flush - 3L feed of Sensyzime and Rezin @ 2ml/L and Liquid Weight @ 1.5ml/L. = 100ppm and 5.8pH - Runoff was 1450ppm and 6.4pH. - Followed the feed with 2L of 5.2pH water with Sensyzime & Liquid Weight.....bring down pH. - runoff after that was 1100ppm and 6.3pH.....better :) Feb 7/20 - Day 61 - Nothing today, still heavy. Feb 8/20 - Day 62 - ********Last Feed******** - Giving a bit of a flush with Sensyzime, Rezin, and Liquid weight @ 2ml. - 6L feed with 100ppm and 5.25pH going in. - Runoff - 350ppm and 6.3pH. - Evening giver her last full strength feed as listed for the week. - Going in was 5.2pH as she was not coming down much with high 5pH feeds. - Medium got a good soak and good runoff amount - That will be it. Hope she goes 10 to 14 more days.... Feb 9/20 - Day 63 - Dry out day - raised the light a bit.....will use lower pH water in flush......not much else other than let her dry out at this stage....... - her top colas are pushing out more new growth. - the tops are getting wider and forming a point more. Hope we can drag out harvest day until Feb 22 or 23rd.......🤞😁.....Thanks for the read and hope you have a smooth week!

Days 35-42 (Day 36) Some minor problems starting to arise here. A few times this week it got up to 90+ degrees which I think may have caused a bit of heat stress in some of the plants. I’m seeing a bit of cupping/crinkles on some of the fan leaves and some of the new growth is looking pretty gnarled and twisted. I hear windburn can cause this too so I’m turning my fans down to low speed. This could also be a problem with humidity so I’m going to turn off my humidifier, dim the lights and raise them. During my last feeding I mulched in some worm castings but it seems like they’re keeping the soil/coco from drying out. Pots are still decently heavy and even the surface is still quite moist but they aren’t showing any major signs of overwatering. I figure it will only be a few weeks before the castings break down so I will just leave it. A few of the plants are starting to show yellowing leaf tips which is probably some kind of micro nutrient lockout from my PH being slightly too high. It could also be from nute burn so I will water in 6.0 until I see some runoff. Although the most likely culprit is potassium excess. I’ve been feeding potassium almost as much as nitrogen so far. I know that can cause the yellowing of leaf tips by locking out trace minerals. It can also cause leaf problems like crinkling. Excess K can even cause water retention! Will water at 6.0 until run off next watering. The lst is coming along nicely. It was a good idea to remove the first two sets of branches (not leaves). Now I have 4-6 perfectly even stems coming from each plant that I plan to top one more time each. (Day 37) Today I’m going to vacuum, clean, wipe down and spray all my equipment in the tent. I’ve been letting the floor get quite dirty and I haven’t had the chance for a thorough clean since last round. I’m kind of surprised I haven’t seen any powdery mildew yet. I guess the prevention spray is working because the room has to be infected from my last crop. (Day 40) I was reading that you can foliar spray whatever you are deficient in for an immediate uptake. I‘m going to try that with my current potassium excess since it locks out trace minerals. I’m going to foliar feed a bit of phytoplankton at 15ml/L and some MagnifiCal + VeloKelp from Remo nutrients both at 5ml/L. The cal mag is not organic but as long as it’s not going into the soil and doesn’t contain chlorine I’m fine with it. I’m also going to be changing the light cycle to 18/6 for the remainder of veg. This will be their first dark cycle so they can properly foliar feed. Edit: humidity shot up to 85% a few hours after foliar spray. I went to top dress everything today and I mixed up the plants while doing so! So the ones I was unsure about I gave 1 extra tablespoon. I won’t top dress again for at least 10 days. Might give a light tea sometime next week. I also tilled the shit out of the top of each pot. It had a hard crusty layer on top that was keeping the medium from drying out properly. I’m not going to water again until everything is bone dry. Then I will water until slight runoff at 6.0 ph with some Dr. Marijane bacteria/root probiotic. I’m starting too see a lot more of these abrasions on some of the bigger fan leaves. It almost looks like thrip damage but I’m 100% sure it’s not a pest above ground. It could be bulb mites, which I found in my worm castings but I can’t check until the roots are more established in their pots. The leaves themselves are cold and feel damp to the touch. I haven’t even seen a fungus gnat since I last fed. I’m hoping it’s related to the K excess and clears up with the troubleshooting. (Day 41) Just ordered a wire cube rack to prop my plants up with and help evaporation/root warmth. Each cube is 11.8”x11.8”x11.8” and it comes with 16 cubes. So it will fit just perfectly in my 4x4. Depending on the size, I might order another one for the flower room where I would need 25 cubes.

Day 21 Veg: All going good so far with the ladies. At their 5th nodes now and beginning to fill the pots out nicely too now. I have started giving them Megacrop at 1/4 strength now. nonsigns of burn or any issues Siz shooter is the smaller of the group and I have removed her 1st nodes to get her to ficus on the higher ones I won't stress her out now as she could be held back if not careful. Strawberry pie developing well amd i have now tied her main at the 5th node to slow the development and allow the other nodes to equal each other for a canopy. .This will be removed and the node allowed to continue to develop. Mexican airline had the same treatment as the pie with a tied 5th node. Her colour is perfect with no signs of any issues. We will see how the method works by the next update hopefully. fingers crossed. be well
