🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The Grove Bags handle the microclimate beautifully, keeping humidity between 58–61%, perfect for preserving all that hard-earned quality. We’re now opening the jars daily, monitoring aroma and feel. This part of the process — the cure — is where the soul of the flower truly comes to life. ☀️ UV, Reds & The Perfect Run Part of what made this run so special was the precision in light spectrum. 40% whites, full reds, UV and IR, and the girls responded like royalty. The UV pushed trichome development to the max. The deep reds gave us thickness, color, and weight. All of it under ThinkGrow Model Ones powered through the Trolmaster ecosystem — everything syncing in harmony. This run was stable, lush, expressive — a grower’s dream. To my eyes, this was a perfect run. ⚖️ Final Yield: 1,302 Grams (1.3 kg) In a 4x4 tent — that’s just 1.2m x 1.2m for metric friends — we pulled in 1,302 grams of flower, not even counting the buds that were taken for filming, photos, or “quality control testing” along the way. 😉 Dense. Loud. Sticky. Resinous. 🌿 The Hidden Half: A Tribute to the Roots In every grow, there’s a part we don’t always see — a part that lives underground, quietly holding everything together. The roots. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. The Autopots system, combined with the Aptus Holland Clean Program and Plagron Green Sensation, made sure they had the perfect environment to expand, absorb, and thrive. Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. she still grows. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. I watered with juices again at 850ppm because i felt that they need it. Only DsD drank pure water because of burns. All ladies enjoy this bright sun for sure. I have a very good combination of sprectrums. Cree cobs are in 3000k and HPS at 2000k.

Auto Maxi Gom is growing really well. She is looking healthy. She should start the transition to flowering very soon. Everything is looking great at the moment. Ph is stable, and she is getting trained regularly. This week is start of 4th flower week. The plants look good but i need buy some yellow cards. Buds become bigger and start to smell more intense. The lemon haze surprised me, because i germinated her 15 dsys after them other 2 and shes the biggest of them all. Hope, everything will be fine. ✌️ In the middle of the week i took the net away because it seems they stretched finally and they have a good shape now.

Flowering week 1: Well an odd affair with the Herz .o.g being a week actually in flower and stretching while the other 2 are just starting to hit flowering. I will keep track and try not to confuse the journal count too much.lpl After last weeks update, I had a busy time dealing with the fungus gnat issue. Thankfully the powder I bought took care of the pot surfaces and is still working on the emerging adults at the moment. The sticky yellow traps are catching a few escapees and hopefully this will eventually kill them off altogether. Seeinf the amount of them rapidly increase on the surface gave me the creeps but also had me worried about the amount them each one would already have laid so many eggs on the soil. Horrible little gits.... Herz O.g has has a good week of growth due to stretch. she has a tall and skinny sativa look to her so I will need to be mindful of how tall she tries to go. She looks nice and healthy with only 2 or 3 bud sites to each growing limb. I think she will need some tying into place to get the best from her. Strawberry Cola is only just showing signs of flowers in her growing tips but her bracts hairs are visible to shownher gender thankfully. She isnt as tall and stretchy as the Herz.og but has more of an indica look to her. She is a more squat looking plant and has some very nice potential mains to play with. Monster Mash has shown flowers for a few days now so is between the 2 other girls for timing. Like the Strawberry , she is smaller in size but has some very nice looking leaves to power her in stretch. I removed some lower small growth and leaves to open the bottom of her up a little before the bushyness starts. lol I am keeping them happy using megacrop alongside the living soil and will also be using shogun products as they finish their stretch period. Another happy week for the exotic girls and now we get to see what they can do in flowering. If they are anything like the Mango cream I am running , I am in for a treat. ... wow :) she is growing very fast :) the plans are for 5 weeks of vegetation and then I will change the time to 12/12 :) so far everything looks good, she is strong, healthy, and gives beautiful branches:).

Cruising right along. Baby girl is definitely devilish. Week 11 feed this week ph 6.4 runoff at 6.6 environment high of 81.9F 51%RH low 67.5F 39%RH. She’s stacking at top still shooting pistils out slowly. Taking slot of real estate in tent had to get rid of one other plant :( but this one shall prevail. Super eager for the buds. The scent she leaves on your fingers after interaction is lovely.

Transplanted to 40l container on week 4 day 1. Container has approx 30l in it. Also added a photo of the setup for size reference. Let me explain my thinking behind the repotting strategy. Firstly I should say that I am quite an old school kind of grower, although I've never grown cannabis before I have grown hundreds of other plants. Due to my experience with other plants, I understand the value of well planned and executed transplants, they can have an absolutely transformative effect upon root systems when done properly, as far as I know it's the main reason why they are done at all. It is fair to say I have never grown any auto-flowering plant indoors before, and I have read all about how you should not transplant autos, and all the good reasons why not. Ultimately though, as I am not called UnorthadoxDude for nothing, I believe that I can make it work with an auto, and get the benefit of improved root growth pattern, without delaying or interrupting the growth. I want to have my cake and eat it, as it were. So the strategy is to avoid transplant shock, which admittedly I have already failed in the first unplanned transplant, but in my hopeful naivety I still believe I can make the second one work! I'm using coco, and I have had the larger pot prepared and have been watering and feeding them as well as the plant. If I am careful not to disturb the plant at all, and move the entire contents of the pot gently into the larger pot (which is exactly the same medium in broadly the same state), then I may be able to avoid shocking the plant and just let it crack on. We will find out in a few days! If it stops growing or slows at all then I failed, otherwise it worked! A note about my use of organic nutes with coco. I have read a lot about coco and nutes and microbes and PH and TDS and what have you, and I know that the overwhelming majority of people believe that you can't or at least shouldn't use organic nutes with coco. The thing is, I like organic gardening, I prefer to cultivate a beneficial microbiota and keep it healthy. I recycle, and reuse all my compost except where a plant is diseased and this has worked well for me for a long time. I've never grown with coco before though, I always used soil. I wanted to gain the benefits of coco (better drainage, more air to roots, lighter, less inviting to pests, etc) - but I wanted to use a method of nutrition that I was already familiar with. I think I've mentioned that I am not called UnorthadoxDude for nothing, so I am using BioBizz and coco. By adding bacterial, mycorrhizal, and trichoderma inoculants and having the unplanted coco in the tent being fed and watered I hope to have cultivated a nice microbiota which will feed my plant. That's the theory. However just in case, I have a trick up my sleeve. Now, I do not know if you are aware of this, but there is a fiery debate raging on the internet about using BioBizz organic nutes with coco for cannabis. Some people try it, most people shout it down, and I have not found much in the way of solid evidence of it being a good idea. Except one! I found a commercial grower that has used biobizz nutes, and he said that as long as you are using "Acti-Vera" you can use anything from the BioBizz organic range. Apparently the enzymes in the mix break down nutes chemically in a similar way to what the theoretically missing microbes do. So I have ordered a bottle of that, and if my microbial cultivation attempts don't work out, I at least know I have a fallback that should work. Those are my thoughts on it, let's see how it pans out. Oh I should also probably point out that I am growing some companion plants, specifically alfalfa (nitrogen fixing), basil (improved flavour), and German Chamomile (increased essential oil production). Update week 4 day 2 dropped PH to 5.8 after advice from a grow question. Look! It's carried on growing... maybe there was no transplant shock? Update week 4 day 3: Growth continues, interveinal chlorosis lessening. Plant is pushing out node five at the moment. Update week 4 day 4: Growth continues, interveinal chlorosis further lessening. Apologies for the poor quality photos for the last few days, I was lazy and didn't want to move everything out to photograph. Today I have done that and the pic is better. I am declaring the second transplant a complete success. I do not believe that plant was in any way shocked. Update week 4 say 5: I think I've finally managed to overwater. Going to skip watering today. Update week 4 day 6: Photo taken just before lights on hence wilting. Growth continues to accelerate. I believe the alfalfa has been raising the PH so I've removed it. Today I will flush through with PH lowered water and then fertigate. The colour is still too pale but the growth and overall look and feel of the plant screams to me that it's happy and about to explode. Day 27.5 flushed with 30l of PH lowered water then fertigated with 5l. Day 28: Height 12cm Width: 28cm Nodes: 6 Weekly growth data: From 5cm Height to 12cm +140% From 12cm Width to 28cm +133% From 4 primary nodes to 6 +50% Summary: Wow, wow. Wow. What else can I say. What a crazy week, amazing and unexpected given the problems. I am really excited to see what happens over the next seven days!! It looks like it has quite severe chlorosis, but otherwise seems robust and is seriously stretching. Almost unbelievable growth. Pre-flowers appeared a few days ago, so I guess this was the final week of veg. Let's see how the first week of flowering stretch goes! Update 7/2/23: My instincts about this plant on week 4 day 6 were absolutely correct, she was happy and, she was about to explode. Since my early attempts at transplanting, I practiced multiple times with Citronella (a photoperiod plant) and then I did it again with an auto (Polly) - this one went flawlessly and further demonstrates that you can transplant an auto without shocking it. Time will tell, because I can compare Polly to both Misty and Nesia both of whom were sown directly in their final pots.

Everything went good this week, having trouble keeping the humidity up but I got some plans to rectify that soon. Lol roots are all down into the buckets now except the runt of the litter in the back corner. But we are only a week in so it’s still early for her. Just been feeding plain water ph’d at 5.8 with some UC Roots added. Been scooping a cup of water daily from there bucket and pooring it over the rock wool and pebbles back into the bucket just to keep things wet and the roots moving. They are sitting around 5000 lux and seem to be enjoying it. I’m just using a phone app with a paper diffuser to test it but it seems to be pretty good and didn’t cost much. Close to harvest time! buds are super heavy! Annndd today half of my plant collapsed under its own weight.. so I used some barbarian methods to fix the problem of too many branches falling down 😄 not very esthetical solution but it works! Tons of wire used. A lil bit of defoliation done, and watering twice a day as usual. Lots of photos of my three beauties this time ❤️ they are getting faaat 😄

Until now I lowered my Ph with the PH- from BIoBizz. It was working fine but this week I tried Plagron PH- and it works better, I need to add 2x less ph- solution to lower the ph of the same volume of water. Just feeding today on the 15th of June and gave her 45ml of bloom and barely and 5ml of grow and she's loving it.

The plants still seem to be doing ok. I notice that the pistil hairs are starting to turn brown. I'm getting closer to the harvest stage which Is exciting. If anyone can give me advice I surely would appreciate it.

Day 25 of veg 10/23 welcome to week 5 as you can see she is growing very fast and im happy with her progress. i am getting more nutes tomorrow and i cant wait just under 2 months till harvest Day 26 i have cut nutes to 1 ml-l and also increased watering volume to 1 gal a day to help bring down the ppm. the run off ppm was at 1300 but the nutes were only 704

Just potted... Plants are a bit in shock. curled down leaves on some. After Day 1 new growth is praying. Removed Damaged Leaves 😀 9/18/2020 had a problem that looked like Cal-Mag issues & overwatering... Was using the tank labels for water marks to tell how much water was in the tank. Discovered that the marks from the factory are wrong. Measured back in exactly 100 Gallons of water and re-nuted the tank. It didn't solve my issue. So I changed the water flood schedule to see if I was overwatering or underwatering. no response from the plants except it was getting worse. After trying things for two days, I "Phoned a friend"... and they suggested to turn the lights down to 25%. BAM! after 20 min or so, there was a positive response and lifting of the leaves... Moral of the story is to start your clones at a lower light setting and gradually bring them up over time. Pics included...

Tag 74: Die Fat Banana hat sich doch mehr gestreckt als ich erwartet hatte. Morgen werde ich sie noch etwas entlauben, und hoffen das sie sich nicht noch mehr streckt, platz für die Lampe ist nicht mehr.😬 Tag 75: Leider musste ich die Fat Banana mittig toppen sonst wären die Spitzen zu dicht an der Lampe, ich hoffe sie verträgt es😨 Und gründlich unterhalb entlauben war nötig.
