Hello Diary. I am very happy that we are starting again. I’m going back to Automatics again. Many thanks to Royal Queen Seeds for sending me two of their new strains, Green Gelato Automatic and HulkBerry Automatic. So this is the first of two new diaries. WHY GREEN GELATO AUTOMATIC? Green Gelato Automatic is the autoflowering version of a legendary cannabis variety. The original strain is the lovechild of Thin Mint Cookies and Sunset Sherbet. It's one of the most aromatic strains available and produces monstrous levels of THC. Green Gelato Automatic contains both sativa and indica genetics. Her effects can be felt in the body and mind simultaneously. In fact, with a THC content of 24%, she's one of the most potent autoflowering strains you can find. She sends the mind into overdrive and makes a perfect smoke when writing, painting, or doing anything creative. The strain also boasts medicinal properties, taking the edge off pain, elevating mood, and raising appetite. LET THE DIARY START OFFICIALLY: 10/06/2020. planting. I have prepared everything I need for planting. The 11lit fabric pot I got from RQS, also Organic Boost Nutrition and Mycorrhizza from RQS, Soil is Light-Mix from BioBizz and of course the seed of the new strain Green Gelato Automatic. After adding 50g of pellets from Organic Nutrition and 5g of Mycorrhizze, I mixed everything well in the pot. After that I watered well and soaked the soil, I dug a hole with a wooden stick about 2-3 cm, I first put 1g of mycorrhize and then put the seeds inside. I lightly covered the hole with earth and put the pot in his new home. The temperature was about 25 degrees and the humidity about 65%. 14/06/2020. She sprouted. After 4 days, Green Gelato came out. In the meantime, I sprayed the surface of the earth a little twice. The temperature is still around 26 degrees, thanks to the summer and the high temperature that enters the apartment anyway. I regulate the humidity with a humidifier, I maintain it around 60% -65%. 15/06/2020. Her first photo shoot, I also watered her with about 2 liters of water, which I only regulated p.H. at 6.3 with Plagron, Lemon Kick. 19/06/2020. Day 1. Green Gelato is officially one day old. On that occasion I took another photo shoot to celebrate this big day :). 24/06/2020. First Feeding First feeding. She got a whole meal from BioBizz, Root-Juice, Bio-Heaven and Acti-Vera, p.H of water I regulated with Lemon Kick from Plagron. 25/06/2020. Day 7. End of the first week. For now, everything is great. It is developing nicely, its conditions are almost perfect. Green Gelato will also have two roommates in the box, HulkBerry Automatic. Had to snap this bitches neck Jesus Christ....still growing...doesn't want to bud apart from stretch

So I'm doing a little experiment with the clones: took the 2 lowest viable branch pairs and put 1 of each pair into a Jiffy pellet and a rockwool cube. All preloaded with Roots Excelurator and SuperVit at 5.5pH and added some mycorrhizae to boot. Only had 2 days to prespray the branches with Clonex Mist and have been spraying the clones every other day with it. It's been a week with no roots showing yet but the clones have looked healthy throughout and never showed signs of wilting (which I remember happening for a short period the last time I cloned). I expect roots to show in the next day or 2 but who knows. And now for our main story: LSSH1 is showing white bud tips! This is most likely due to the ridiculously close proximity to the light. Not sure what to make of it yet but I guess we'll see if it has any effect on quality 😏 The buds have expanded a very tiny amount and I expect much more this coming week but from my understanding this strain does not produce really dense nugs to begin with. From the results so far I would say the plants have liked the switch to Canna nutes although I would recommend going with the light feeding schedule at least to start with. PK1 still with very tiny buds but it's getting more light now. PK2 seems to be growing faster now on Canna nutes. BTW: on the rare occasion I get my hands on some trichs, my fingers have an unmistakable lemon candy smell 😍

11.07. Cherry Poppers 1# Day 77# Cherry Poppers 2#Day 74# On one of these two plants, the bottom branch broke completely during the storms.. I fixed it and tied it, but there was no way to save it, it could not heal, it could barely hold itself, and it could not absorb water, then it dried up, but no big deal, it's only the bottom branch, this often happens to me every season. Today is the end of the eleventh week for the plants. There were storms all week and with the fact that they spent almost the whole week under stress (they were also under heat stress a couple of days before), I am certainly satisfied with the progress. On Tuesday, they were watered for the last time, with clean water, then it rained, and the next day it rained all day, since then they have not been watered, as soon as the soil dries I will feed them. Below in the table is the food that they received last time, but it is included in this week, and I introduced that as well. Stay High and Keep Growing!!!

Week 3 Day 1: whew! I feel like we catching our stride! Last week was a battle with the numbers. The AC infinity Vegetative recipe had my devices all over the place (like my lights refused to come on and go off on schedule as they had been). Thennnn once I got the schedule together the humidity starting rising like a MFer! I think the rain last week contributed to it and of course it’s summer so that doesn’t help. I broke and got a dehumidifier on Facebook marketplace and now the humidity is under control, but the temps are up to 85 during the day sometimes! I opened two vents, so I’m hoping this balances it all out. Will start LST, and feeding later this week.. early next week! Week 3 Day 5: Well, well, well.. things are looking manageable and for that I am grateful. Humidity is still higher than desired.. humidifier is working.. but it’s not pumping the water out into my drain hole. I’m on vacation for the weekend, and washed clothes before I left and it jumped up again. So I’m hoping it continues to drop, because we did notice some powdery mildew. We think it’s due to the large number of plants in this 3x3 tent.. but we cut that off and spread them out and moved the fans and are hoping for the best. Plants have been topped and are ready to get started with low stress training and will be moved up to 5 gallon pots. That’s all folks, signing off.. almost one month in! Sorry guys I want to wait for a little bit, had to spend time with the family. My plants have bounce back from being overwatered I have one runt (caused by root damage from being overwatered) which is my cereal milk I’m sure she’ll bounce back but she will never make a fullest potential. Other than that all my plants are looking healthy ready to go three more weeks and veg. Then it’ll be time for the big flip. I had a awesome time growing these babies for my mental note my Mac1 and Gelato have the strongest smell my far from touch (stem rubbing lol).

6/28 - 7/4 No major changes this week. Been consistently watering, usually about a half gallon to a gallon every couple days. No more feedings. My girl is really fading hard at this point. I would have expected that she would have been putting off a lot more smell at this point. Given that there were a number of hot days where temps inside the tent were flirting with 90 degrees late in flower, I am resigned to the fact that it caused some terps to evaporate. Hoping I'll be able to salvage what's there during dry and cure.

Week 7: The Frost is Taking Over! ❄️🌀 We’ve officially hit the half-century mark, and the tent is looking like a psychedelic dream. These F1 hybrids from Zamnesia are stacking heavy and the terpene profile is getting louder by the hour. 🍍🧀 The Pineapple Express is bringing the tropical heat, while the Blue Cheese is bringing that classic funk.
