🌿 Amnesia Skunk Auto — Week 9 From Seed (Week 5 Flower) We’re back with the Amnesia Skunk auto, and before we dive into this week, let’s take a second to understand how we got here. This run has been a bit different from the traditional approach. Even though we’re working with autoflowers, the environment has been set under a 12/12 light cycle from seed — what we’ve been calling a “no veg” approach. Now, to clarify — it’s not that the plant doesn’t vegetate. It does. But it does so on its own internal clock, not because we extended light hours to push vegetative growth. So what happens? The plant never gets the signal to fully stretch and build structure like in a classic veg phase, which results in: • more compact plants • tighter node spacing • earlier transition into flower • and a much faster lifecycle overall And that’s exactly what we’re seeing here. ⸻ 🌱 This Week — The Story of the White Hairs (Pistils) This week, the stars of the show are the white hairs — the pistils. Those fine white strands you’re seeing shooting out of the buds are the female reproductive organs of the plant. Their role is simple, but powerful: They are designed to catch pollen. Each pistil is connected to an ovule inside the calyx. If pollinated, that’s where seeds would form. But in our case — no pollen, no seeds — so the plant continues to push energy into: 👉 resin production 👉 bud swelling 👉 terpene expression That’s why you’ll notice: • fresh, bright white pistils = active growth phase • constant new pistil production = plant still building mass And right now? She’s in full production mode. ⸻ 🌿 Structure & Development What’s really interesting here is the morphology. These are currently the most compact plants in the room, sitting around ~90 cm, but: • dense structure • tight internodes • bud sites stacked closely The buds themselves are already: • forming tight • showing early frost • pushing aroma earlier than expected For a plant that never had a traditional veg window, this is honestly impressive. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding We’ve kept things stable and consistent: • Temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: ~65% RH • pH: ~6.5 • EC: ~2.0 Water intake is sitting at around 1.5L per plant per day, which tells us: 👉 metabolism is active 👉 root zone is functioning well 👉 demand is increasing as flowers build ⸻ ⚡ On the “No Veg” Approach This run continues to reinforce something interesting: You don’t always need a long veg phase to get quality results. What you get instead is: • speed • control over height • uniform canopy • faster turnover But also: • smaller overall plant size • less room for recovery from stress • everything happens quicker, so mistakes show faster It’s a different rhythm — not better, not worse — just a different way to grow. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week Looking ahead: You should expect: • pistils continuing to multiply • buds starting to stack and swell more aggressively • resin production increasing noticeably • aromas becoming stronger and more defined What not to expect (yet): • no major calyx swelling peak yet • no heavy pistil browning yet • no final density — we’re still building We’re still in that “construction phase”, not the finishing stage. ⸻ 🤝 Gratitude As always — thank you. To everyone following: • the day ones • the new eyes • the silent watchers • the supporters • even the critics To the community, to GrowDiaries, to the sponsors, to the genetics behind this run — and to everyone growing alongside us. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.

Her aroma is suuper citric and strong, beautiful strain to grow and very strong purple color, she's not gonna produce too much but like every girl in my garden she's gonna give top quality purple buds, the flowers are very sticky and frosty, can't wait to try her, she's got the exact same aroma as her sisters. So will see how she ends up performing on this diary peace 🌱💚✌️

New light this week! Not sure what I should expect. I fed the girls early on, but think the feed levels were too strong as they showed signs of pH imbalance again. Flushed them with water, tested pH, low and behold pH too low. After flushing fed with a lighter nutrient mix, which they have both enjoyed since. By the end of the week, it's obvious these girls like the new light. It's promoted some new growth and more bud sites, which will hopefully increase the overall yield. Going to be fun watching them fatten up over the next couple of weeks or so.

July 6th @GbaGrow Update July 11th @GbaGrow Update July 12th. I discovered a pleasant surprised right. If done correct and effectively, I maybe introducing to the cannabis community a new Haze. Two days ago on July 10th, i transplanted them into a two gallon pots into a tent.

Sorry not many pics this week, struck down with man-flu! Few pics of the new 600wt lumni fully adjustable light I picked up and have replaced one of the smaller kingbo’s with it, thought about having the two kingbo’s either side of this lumni but I really didn’t wanna forfeit the 400wt cobs! Also bought another double output air pump, so going into flowering phase, watt/plant ratio has increased and so has aeration to the air domes inside the smart pots. I’ve also added a small water pump to the nutrient tank to keep it moving/oxygenated while it’s waiting to feed into the drip tray.

She is still stretching a bit, so here ant there I still have to reposition a couple of branches. Apart from this she don't need much attention. DLI 45 Watering 3L in every 3 days

Ok so She is so close to going into flower lot’s of stretching going on I just ordered more nets because she is already like 3 ft over the last netting I put up so I’m hoping this next set of nets will be the last but with the most I don’t no lol I went ahead and stopped topping because I think she is right on the verge of going into flower stage a lot of branching going on up top everything is multiplying on its own really getting thick and full up top this should be an amazing yield I’m hoping for 5 lbs I think I might get it we will see how big and heavy the buds are I’m taking every Necessary precaution for up coming bud Weight Which I have a problem with every year Breaking my branches from weight I learned my lesson so far so good had a wicked ass storm blow in twice this week no breaks no stress Hopefully this will be the last week of veg this plant is awesome If the bud quality is good this is going to be my greatest plant of all time LOL

420Fastbuds Gelato Auto Week 2 What up grow fam weekly update on these three. This week has been fun seeing the first leafs getting bigger. I started adding some GH Calimagic to my feed. I'm feeding 500ml of PH'd well water and .25 tsp/gal of some calmag about every other day. Started also my preventive maintenance of sparying PureCrop1 every Monday as the plants seem to respond well and keeps the pest away. All in all Happy Growing

This week I defoliated the plants a bit. The plants have burnt leaf spots so I am going to give them a few watering sessions without feeding them with a PH of 6 next week I plan to switch them to 12-12.
