Pretty easy going week. I appear to be understanding the plants needs a little bit more and they are reacting well to it. I was away for the last few days of this week and was happy to return to slightly larger buds. Both girls are smelling beautiful! The bud sites are looking good. The AK is slightly ahead and at a guess think she has another 2 or 3 weeks till harvest. I feel like the West Coast will be slightly longer. Am giving the AK a half feed instead of watering as she seems a big hungry. Hoping the buds swell up some more before they are ready to harvest!

Day 29. My friend is lazy and I have itchy fingers. Needed to do photos before, but generally he doesn't tuck leaves and expose branches, some are very underdeveloped, some are curly from being under leaf, not the best run .... Super healthy, about overstretched, I told him to increase light height every day - he does like me, only forced by plants almost brushing lights ... So internode current spacing - terrible. Girl in front is Wedding Cake. Gelato a bit taller. Still only water with small bacterial weekly top dressing. Happy Growing !!!

Transplanted this week, 2 weeks from sprouts. Soaked cubes 30 min in 5.5ph water with some nutrients ~550ppm Added floraflex caps right away to avoid algae build up on cubes

2 weeks later and Girl crush is throwing out 12's... I will have to top her soon. I took her 1st two liters to prop clones but they failed repeatedly. She isnt a big stretcher and I'm not limited by vertical space at all so I'm not worried [even though my auto's are at the very least 30 and 45 days away from full maturity respectivly.] The ogreberry is somehow even easier to train than the whiskey zulu at this stage. The canopy is much more even and we'll just have to see if that remains true. This ogreberry smells fucking wild. The other two plants smell good and unique but the Ogreberry smells like fruit loops, lemon and the strongest note I smell every single time I test it, I can only describe as the "new" smell a baby gives off. I dont know if that's from the sweet cream of baby formula or what because I don't have a much experience with babies, but this is a very baby-like smell. It's shockingly absurd that this plant smells like an infant. This "new" quality reminds me of northern lights.

📆 Week 9, 7-13 December 2023 7-13 December - Continued with simple adjustment of branches to receive maximum light. There was no defoliation of any leaf this week. Her growth rate has slowed and I believe she is heading in to the bulking stage. I’m satisfied with her size at this point. 8 December - Turned light power from 50% up to 75%, and raised lights from 18” to 21” from top of plant to facilitate the bulking phase of flowering. 📑 Let’s briefly discuss light and umol/m2/s or PPFD. First of all its all about numbers. Is there an agreeable starting point on these figures - the cannabis plant requires between 100-300 PPFD in seedling, 400-700 PPFD in vegetation, and 800-1000 PPFD in flower. It can go up to 1500 PPFD with certain C02 concentrations. I believe this may be generally accepted. Never being much of a numbers person, in ways I avoid it. I’ve grown indoor weed for a long time without a fancy device to tell me what this number was, the plant did that. A quality light and the plant itself will talk to each other in a matter of hours sometimes, days in others, I just need observe. But what I have come to realize the past few years is that these numbers, found in simple instruments (apps for smart phones) give us a very specific area of where she is within all these spectrums. It allows us more precision and insight to what would otherwise be a possible weak or vulnerable spot within our grow. I’ll use mine on a new strain, and to verify any questions. They are easily accessible tools for the common gardner. When we adjust our lights we can measure what will be optimal for our plant. Using my case in point; from: 50% power or 890 PPFD at 18” to: 75% power or 1080 PPFD at 21” **if not raised 3” - that number would have been 1320 PPFD - likely damage the plant - or raised any higher there would be no real benefit in what I’m attempting to achieve - likely waste of power** The 2023 ViperSpectra XS2000 lights (the ones I use) come with a new switch now that go from 25, 50, 75, 100% power and no option in between. So that kind of put a kink in a week or two during my grows I have to work around. Going from 50-75% power is a big shift in light intensity, and these lights are bright. Knowing what that number is and being able to adjust the height precisely to avoid damage is reassuring. I appreciate advancements that make growing a little easier. In most personal grows during flower I’ll go well over 1000 PPFD depending on the strain tolerance, without C02. Here are my experiences why: 1) my set-up allows it, 2) that number only reflects the greatest reading at the highest point on the plant - my reports, 3) when the plant is budding it is absorbing much more photons than when in the leafy only stage - everything is accelerated - this is a totally different discussion, 4) the additional light provided will proportionally increase a higher yield, and finally, 5) some of todays theories on light will change in 5 years, as it has from 10 years before, we still have a lot to research. LEDs are definately cream of the crop, but there is something new to learn I’m sure. Until then I can only tweak what I have in search for a tighter bud, higher in THC. I said I would briefly discuss this subject. Everything is possible with lights. It is science that says the cannabis plant does not have to produce secondary metabolites (trichomes and cannabinoids), in some cases it may not. It produces them based on its environment. She returns to you what you dedicate toward her. Wow......... She grew an EXTRA 46CM this week........ I think she likes the new blue/daylight bulb. But it probably coincides with her peak flowering stretch tbh.

I’ve started this experience twenty day after first seeds popped of another regular in the same box, now i know that’s wrong but... now 🤣 so other error was trasplant late and other not correct situations that i will explane in next updates about early life of it, this is the result at 7/9 weeks of life , a little frosty girl

Start of week 8 of flower..... Lights are only on for 11 hours of the day now..... Only water in my res now until i think its the right time to havest... i made a lil video i hope you like it.... enjoy and happy growing

Welcome to the 2018/19 indoor grow season!!! I am starting this diary for all current seedlings and clones I have started. I'll also be doing separate diaries for some strains individually (but not all). So, currently I'm about a week in on average with these seedlings and clones. The Seedsman CBD Cream & Cheese and DinaMed CBD+ were started a few days earlier and started stretching using only the 18w T5 my humidity dome came with. So I set up one of my LED's over the humidity dome instead. So far that seems to be helping the newer seeds from stretching too high. I'm also seeing some burn on some girls, I guess the soil must be too hot. I started to try to flush through with straight ph'ed water, but then I started seeing signs of overwatering (rookie mistake, I know). Now I'm just trying to keep a little water on the bottom tray so it generates some humidity in the dome. There's also a heat mat under the tray I have the heat mat on a timer also, 30 min on/30 min off cycling all day. It seemed to get too hot on 24/7. I'll be transplanting and moving to my 2'x4' tent in about a week. They will live there during veg, then I'll be moving to a 4'x8' tent (not purchased yet) for flower. I'm also planning on adding some COB LED's in the flower tent. Then I'll dedicate my 2x4 tent to mothers, clones and seedlings. Its going to be a little different this season with both photo period and autoflowering strains going at the same time. But I'm looking forward to it! 👍 Stay tuned...

Intensité de la FC3000: 90% Ventilation : Extracteur mars hydro 6 pouces avec filtre à charbon puissance : 4/10 (24h/24h) + 3 ventilateurs à l'intérieur ( ON 8/24h). ils s'activent à un horaire différent.
