Day 77 - Was her last day. To be truthful she wasn't 100% ready going on the trichomes but needs must and the other photoperiod girls need their space now. It's crazy how my own personal ability has changed over the years. Blackberry is a strain I've grown every 12 months roughly, GrowDiaries is a fab place to track your learning. Looking back through my old grows I must have been mad to think they were ready to harvest! Way too early! Maybe that's the biggest thing I've learned - patience. Don't be too eager to chop, there is a lot to be gained extending by 2 or 3 weeks... Anyway, back to this girl. She has been chopped and trimmed. Have a look thru the pics, if you see a piece of black tape on the stem the apex bud on that branch was BACKBUILT. I have to say the technique REALLY does work. Those buds look fatter and denser than the others that have been left natural. It seems effective to be done about halfway through flowering, but no later than 3/4 of the way. FINAL UPDATE: So after 2 weeks in the drying net she weighed out to 87.81g. Not a great deal but she was compromised by the photoperiod plants she shared the tent with. It wasn't the full purple phenotype like I had twice before but still she looks pretty.

Day 57 from seed and these BCN’s are smelling the best so far. Very citrusy smell! I think this is my last week of feeding these girls, and straight to flushing the plants next week. Im going to give them an extra week or two and see how it goes!

Growing well. Just fed 12 cups Ph'd water (6.3). Lots of cold humid air coming in from outside, plus with the half soil half coco mix I think they're holding water a long time. They're only needing water once a week right now. They were not impressed with the water-only feeding. Some leaves got burnt tips, some got small yellow dots that look like spores or insects but I don't think are either. I think it's some kind of nutrient or pH unhappiness. I only gave 2/3 of the amount of water I normally would, hoping that they will dry out soon and I can give a proper feeding and check runoff pH. I left them alone for a couple days and boosted the 1000w back up to 100% to dry things out a bit more. The buds loved it but I think it's damaging the leaves a bit. I put it back down to 75% just now. I forgot to adjust the intake fan from outside down to low overnight from medium during the day and leaf temp was down to 13.3c when I woke up. Can't be doing that either.

I am starting a Tangerine Band. I scuffed the seed ends, then dropped it in water. In about 24 hours or as soon as I see a tail start I will drop it in the rockwool. It was a quick trip, this very voracious HighCloudZ auto grew at the speed of light, it produced lots and lots of flowers, I foresee a 70-80 grams dry and without stakes. RESUMEN DE CULTIVO: Esta cepa es brutal, resiste muy bien las manipulaciones y genera cogollos grandes y prietos, también soporta una fertilización poco controlada y ligeramente excesiva. Perfecta para alguien con pocos conocimientos (este es mi primer cultivo) OLOR: No tiene un olor fuerte, una buena opción para quien necesita disimular el olor del cultivo. SABOR: Su perfil de terpenos es muy bueno pero suave, varia en funcion de la planta, algunas tenían un sabor ligero, especiado y tirando a lo picante pero una en particular si sacó matices de olor y sabor muy dulces y afurtados entre el mango y el platano realmente buenos, me encantaría tener una madre de ese ejemplar. EFECTOS: Tiene altos porcentajes de THC, a tumbado a más de un amigo, me parece una buena opción si buscas una variedad potente. LO MALO: Poco malo tengo que decir, aunque tampoco es tan sabrosa como me hubiera gustado. Seguiré buscando otras variedades pero seguro que repito.

She seems to be a little finicky to low humidity and seems to be a nute whore. Her clone I took 3 or so weeks ago was exibiting same characteristics as this one with low humidity. In living soil but also use Fish Shit and HPK. She'll take as much as I want to give here while the others in the tent want me to back off a bit except Pink Kush she's a nute whore too. Overall happy with her, understandable for a "boutique" strain. Also decided to double down on lighting, running 2 250 true watt quantum boards in my 2x4. Currently turned up on both to 75%. Plan on cranking to full 500w last few weeks.

She's just doing her thing and despite some watching and watering there wasn't much to do this week :) Unfortunately she is a bit overfed, but can't manage to get every plant different nutrients so she has to take what she gets. Really love this phase of a plants life, when all the work is showing in a steady progress and the most needed thing is patience.

Es war eine sehr gemischte Woche mit viel Regen, etwas Sonne und eine Menge Wind. Die Durban Poison lässt sich davon wenig beeindrucken, sie ist am Stock festgebunden, steht kerzengerade und lässt ihre Buds weiter anschwellen. Leider habe ich bei sehr genauem Hinsehen doch ein welkes verdrehtes Blatt in einer Blüte gefunden und dieses mit der Blüte sofort entfernt. Weiteres Untersuchen brachte aber keine weiteren beginnenden Schimmelstellen zum Vorschein. 100% schommelfrei ist sie also nicht... Das Wetter ist jedoch sehr schimmelförderlich zur Zeit. Ich freue mich schon auf die Ernte, in ca. zwei Wochen dürfte es soweit sein und und dann benötige ich viiiel Platz zum Trocknen. Die DP ist dieses Jahr etwas kleiner als im Jahr davor, was sicherlich an der Düngemenge im Topf in der Vegetationsphase liegt. Entscheidend wird sein, ob das Entlauben etwas am Erntergebnis verbessern wird. Letztes Jahr hatte ich mehr Blätter an der Pflanze gelassen. The Durban Poison is not particularly affected by this; it is tied to the stake, stands straight as a die and continues to swell its buds. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, I did find a wilted, twisted leaf in one of the flowers and immediately removed it along with the flower. Further examination revealed no other signs of mould. So it's not 100% mould-free... However, the weather is very conducive to mould at the moment. I'm looking forward to the harvest, which should be ready in about two weeks, and then I'll need a lot of space for drying. The DP is a little smaller this year than last year, which is certainly due to the amount of fertiliser in the pot during the vegetation phase. The decisive factor will be whether defoliation will improve the harvest yield. Last year, I left more leaves on the plant. Thank you very much for visiting and best wishes for a mould-free week! 😀

First week flower have moved them all into the tent and under the marshyrdo had to really stuff them in there but have loollipopped them pretty high so I have good airflow around the base

Se lograron estabilizar después del transplante, y logran comer bastante, los riegos son cada 2 días, allá purple nos da una distancia internodal mas corta que la 10th, aun así ambas están hermosas

Diese Woche fange ich an die Beleuchtung schrittweise auf 12/12 Std. zu reduzieren indem ich die Beleuchtung um 50 Minuten pro Tag reduziere und so die Pflanzen langsam in die Blüte schicke. Auch werde ich die LED-Lampe langsam auf die vollen 200W drehen. Leider hat die Gorilla gelbe Blattspitzen bekommen, was ich aber erstmal weiter beobachten werde. Bin mir noch nicht ganz sicher ob die Beleuchtung zu doll ist, der pH-Wert nicht stimmt oder ich zu stark gedüngt habe. Zum Ende der Woche habe ich die Blätter zurück geschnitten und die Äste weiter nach außen gebogen.
