Going to try to squeeze a tester meph plant into my inhouse genetics run. Things will be tight! Super excited, this strain sounds delicious! 1/4/22 at 4:20 put bean into paper towel. Checked it 20 hours later and it had cracked with a small tap root. Left it to grow a larger tap root for an additional 24 hours and not much had changed. So I transplanted to its final 2 gallon home. Praying she pokes through in the next day or so!

This is the first week since she popped.

Germination 07/09/2022 Hi to all the old and new growers out there. Spring has barely started but I'm so AMPED to start again. My first grow attempt was a disaster. I started to early for the season. I wasted some good seeds and those Blasted 🐌 🐌 snails messed up everything. Got up started again and took it as a learning curve. I had 1 seed left from the previous attempt and this had to be the golden ticket. The first important thing I learned was getting to the correct pH. Used a 1 liter jug not knowing that the pH down was very concentrated substance. Added 1ml of pH down to tap water with a base of 8.5+ pH and brought it down all the way to less than 4.5 pH. I probably tried like 5 times and realized that a single drop made a difference of about 2 pH. I got the feel of it and had to source a better water supply. I had the option of using tap water but didn't have the time to do a 24 hour airstone run ever time I wanted to water the plants. The local water supply shop was a better option. I got a consistent 6 pH and the price was decent. The Snail 🐌 Problem... I have a plan for those F**kers. We have 2 very nice hydroponic shops in my city. After a weeks growth in four litre pots I defoliated them ready to go into flower. Started feeding them full strength with coir feed even though they are in soil. Looking happy so far, I'm tight on space so will keep them in check if I can as they flower.

The Northern Light produced almost twice as much as White Widow. As they were in the same basin, I attribute the better performance to three factors. 1. Roots made it to basin faster. The WW's pellet dried out before her roots were in the water as the airstone shifted right under the NL. 2. The second and more powerful light was placed directly over the NL, however, the space is so small that they both should have benfited. 3. I did a better LST job on the NL. Overall, happy with the harvest. The buds are airy, my fault. The smell is very lemony with a bit of an earthy smell during the cure. Currently, the taste is minty and refreshing, but still a bit heavy. Effects are nice. Noticeable but not overwhelming or tiring. I think potency will come with age, But both plants tolerated my inexperience and have produced enough fruit to get me by. What else could you ask for out of a first grow?! Week 1 of Black Lebanon by SSSC Didn't create a diary at the start of these plants lives but they vegged for 7/8 weeks before i flipped into flower. I've got 4 of the Black Lebanon in this tent😎 The new indoor light is in im now running 600W LED (igrox taurus TRS600) so no more yellow looking pictures 😂

Trimmed a few bottom leaves to keep them off the grow medium. The difference is huge between the plants..... 6 days must have been affected also by more side roots compared to the tap root poking out. I thought it best to let the roots develop in the hydro garden

Those were the last ones. So I'm done with my second grow. I should have left out the two Hulk Berries here completely. I had this space problem anyway and, as I said, they were seeds from a hermaphrodite/crossed grow. They have the most seeds. I think I'll make oil out of this. Let's see. My conclusion: a great pleasure to be here. Many thanks to everyone for help, encouragement and criticism. I'll bother you some more. Nice weekend @all

Week 9 (aka day 63) According to the strain report, today would of been the day of harvest (if perfectly grown) Since I am not a master grower, it appears she needs more time. ha She is coming along great though! Super frosty and the flowers along the stems are starting to pack on weight. According to other grow diaries I've read, the harvest day will probably be in one month 3/3/21 (12 weeks total) If you notice my tent is a bit crammed, that's the only thing that's not ideal lol I am watering every three days with 6.0 phd water with 1 tablespoon of molasses and 1 teaspoon of SuperNova mixed into a gallon or more of water. Please let me know if you have any suggestions/ questions/ concerns. I am getting excited about harvest day! It's not to far away :) Wish me luck in the end stretch! lol Happy Growing everyone

End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. We are through week 7 an an entering week 8 .. the smell is definitely stronger amazing an earthy smell I would say buds at thick af.. I also have different strain in tent zkittlez an dayum i can taste the rainbow!!! I stopped feeding nutrients a started flushing with unchlorinated water phd at 6.0.. checking trichromes still clear… guessing within 2 weeks we will chop once she is ready ready!!! The process is long but it is beautiful!!!!

Lilly x White Widow is bulking strong. Very frosty and a flowery aroma. She is growing great under the Spider Farmer G5000/UVR40 lights. I am doing my best to keep her happy for these last few weeks. Hello. This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of flowering. OK... One more week of light and then a couple of days of dark and then harvest. Everything is going good here. Had 2 good watering last week. the plants are using up the nutrient that's left in the soil. So I'm expecting some yellowing of leaves next week. Another good week here in the tent. Getting water daily. Defoliated as needed every other day. The girls are looking great and smelling great. Lots of frost coming off these girls. Started the UVB at 30 minutes and have moved up to an hour. The tests went right to two hours but I wanted to ramp it up. Will go up thirty minutes tomorrow and continue that every few days to ramp up usage. The trichomes are coming along but not milky

Auto cinderella jack - Amazing week of growth. There are new nodes exploding from everywhere and its not showing signs of slowing down. They are currently loving the organic nutes and have started showing signs of flowering. Auto critical cheese - this plant has shot up recently. It was planted a week later that the ACJ but is growing some seriously fat fan leaves. Should be a nice yeilder. Peanut butter cookies - this girl is looking pretty sorry for herself. I am intentionally trying to keep her as small as possible so that I can get the autos out before flipping into flower but she is gonna be a beast. Will transplant into a final pot in the next day or so.
