It powers various cellular activities like nutrient uptake, protein synthesis, and cell division. Without ATP, the plant's metabolic machinery would grind to a halt, regardless of the presence of nutrients, oxygen, or carbon. Nutrients, like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, are essential for building plant tissues and various molecules. They are incorporated into proteins, nucleic acids, and other vital compounds. While crucial, their uptake and utilization rely on ATP-driven processes. Oxygen is vital for cellular respiration, a process that generates ATP. Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Going to let it ride until morning! Please feel better! [END OF WEEK 02]

These 3 girls have just completly taken over the flowering tent just massive! Keeps changing the light i raise it and they back at it again next couple days! Think they slowing a little possibly as u can see some bud clusters starting to form. That also tells me she is ready for a hair cut to get that light in there more! They have a great strong kush smell when u do a stem rub but I don't smell anything at tent opening yet. They been getting heavy canna dose of nutrients for the steeach will see if they need another week of that dose if they chase the light again or if going to flower development now. Food every 2 days around 3 L till runoff at ph of 5.6-5.7. I like how the canna nutrients when ur in correct ph range it foams so u know ur getting close. I have really came to like the stuff. Great results compared to past soil grows. Nutrients being more ready for the plants like force feeding is way faster for growth. Like I mentioned will do hair cut over next week possibly start to see some more bud development over the next week also. Love yall.

Das Problem mit dem Lichtstress hat sich nun relativiert und die Pflanze hat sich erholt. Die verbrannten Blätter habe ich natürlich rausgenommen. Sie hat meiner Meinung nach ein richtig schönes Wuchsbild mit einer sehr schätzenswerten Internioden/Höhen Relation. Sehr gut abstehende Seitentriebe und kaum ein Stretch. Daher dürfte sie einen hohen Indica Anteil bringen bzw. Bei ca. 100% liegen. Die Umgebungsgegebenheiten sind aktuell hoch für das Stadium, aber die Pflanze hat sich angepasst: ————— 🌞 Temp: 27 🌚 Temp: 18°C bis 19°C 💨 RH: 49% VPD: 1,42 kPa 🏜️ 💡ppfd: 830 mpm ————— Viele Grüße 👋

Hey everyone! 👋 Another week and another update, and in this week I finally flipped my babies! (and it wasn't a failed attempt) 😍 They are now in the 12/12 cycle and I must say last week's recovery was crucial to finally do it! Besides of all that this week was quite uneventful compared to the other ones (which I suppose is a good thing! 😝) The only things worth mentioning besides what I already wrote is that I overfed my babies (double dosage) but it seems they took them well and that Boomer and her sisters (specially Boomer) get thirsty really fast compared to before... which means I need to water them more frequently which isn't terrible. I also finally have some new time lapses 😊 I hope you all enjoy them! Thanks for reading! 🙌

Finally I discovered why is my critical girl and my blue cheese having such a hard time is because we have more gardening in this property tomatoes and other vegetables and my brother decided to add bat guano to all of the plants including the cannabis plant this happened a few months ago without me knowing so I continue to feed liquid nutrients without realizing they was already food in it and not any food slow-release fertilizer so after seeing my critical going south I was worried for the blue cheese cookies but they seem to be more resilient to higher doses of nutrient nevertheless I was scratching my head trying to figure out where she's getting nutrients from and boom that my brother told me by the way I add bat guano to all of the plans some months ago and I guess now is becoming available to the plans and causing all sort of problems hopefully with water only she can make it through to the end of the season but she is actually holding on pretty good still stretching and still growing .so for everybody out there please do not mix slow-release fertilizer with liquid fertilizer because you going to cause yourself so much headache and problems because there is no way to control what is in the soil. And the reason you use Liquid Fertilizer its to have complete control in their intake of nutrients and customize it to their need something my brother does not understand yet thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

The Sensi Seeds Research breeding project has created eleven cannabis seed varieties. How? By combining new cannabis cultivars with a selection of strains from their long-established cannabis gene bank. For the first time in thirty-six years, they are opening the doors of the Sensi Seeds Research and Development Department. Week #12 Week #3 of flowering, having some issues with 2 ladies. I haven’t been able to check the room during 4 days, one plant has a Nitrogen excess, and the other one run out of P-K, Mg. Check the video, it’s not often that this situation happens, so let’s learn to diagnose the situation. The plant with banana peels style leaves is a Nitrogen excess, it start with the tips of the leaves pointing down, like claws, then it turns into some old bananas peels looking. The other one, with the crispy looking leaves is a lack of P-K, it starts with some kind of dark brown/purple stripes marks on the leaves with the tips starting to points up + a lack of Mag , the leaf is cupping like a taco shell ! The game now is to loose less yield than possible on those two ladies, but from now it’s already 25% gone .... This is a good example to show that every plants are different, all of them are running on the same diet, all others plants are doing great except those 2. Morality is to check your plants daily, those problems can be fixed before it happens, when you know how to diagnose the primary symptom 😉 Week 3 trimming !!! You must clean your plants legs and cut off all the lil shoots, in the bottom, that haven’t reach the top ! Main goal to keep in mind is to spend all the energy on the top, cleaning the legs will help to avoid wasting energy on the bottom of your plants Once again, Mars-Hydro has definitely improved their performance, the shoots structure of the plants under the SP-250 is amazing. The plants have developed so many shoots compared to the plants under the HID’s , it’s really remarkable ! (I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control)

The pound cake auto so far is an amazing plant. It has grown great and is super strong. Honestly it might be the strongest growing plant I have ever grown The weather is starting to warm up a bit it has been below freezing for over 30 days and now the snow is starting to melt finally it’s a lot easier to keep the humidity on point when it’s like 32 outside compared to 10

Some signs of pre flowering.. Some nutrient locks but that is because of a high ph. Overall very satisfied. 22-06: First signs of flowering stage...

7/20 Went over this morning to plants soaking wet and heavy rain. Went back around 4pm and plants actually look really good. The rain has stopped for a bit and the girls looked great. Apart from some septoria leaves I needed to defoliate on the first plant I treated. I also noticed a few others on other plants so it's spreading albeit slowly. I treated the three in the middle with their second dose of Plant Doctor at 3tsp/1gal. One gallon administered to each plant via root drench. I think I may treat the other plant showing signs with a diy Dr. Zymes using citric acid as the active ingredient. That way I Gould start treatment right away without having to rely fully on plant doctor. Plus it would kill any pests. Ive seen damage but the birds do a number on them. I dont want to spray my plants with a bunch of chemicals if I don't have too. I shouldve replaced the pallets and cleaned the cage better. I think I did a good job sanitizing as I have no wpm. Just this septoria I probably got when the lady mowing the lawn cut all tjis fucking grass and blew it in my pen, throwing bird seed and I'm sure tons of disease into my grow bags. I literally had to harvest a bunch if fucking sunflowers. It looked like my plants had been mulched. Just with small disease carrying shrubs. At some point some of this stuff has to be on purpose. You CAN'T be that stupid. A couple kushes in the back look hungry. I think I may need to up my feed. I've written to much. I'll keep this updated. Thanks if you made it this far. 7/21 I guess it rained last night. Oh well. It was blue skies for hours before dark. It must've rained late/early morning. I'm sure the app of plant doctor will be fine. Like I said I'm considering using citric acid as a foliar spray to help with the septoria and clean up any pests. I don't have enough pests to warrant spraying. I just don't want to put all my eggs in the plant doctor basket. Today is overcast and windy. The wind has really assisted in spreading this virus. I remove anything I see infected immediately and since these plants are reveges they have plenty of leaves. Plants are really stretching. I know I talk about the septoria a lot but realistically if someone looked through my garden they'd have a hard time spotting it. I don't want to exaggerate the problem but I don't like dealing with ANY fungus or molds. 7/22 It was 55° this morning when I went over. I defoliated some septoria leaves and a few that were fading or damaged. I saw almost a whole leaf eaten so it's probably a good idea to move forward with citric acid. I can add that to the plants I've already treated with plant doctor. This is the first year it's been so noticeable. It's the reveg 10th planet that started this off. Oh well. I've dealt with MUCH worse. Plants LOOK good (other than septoria leaves (on bottom of plant). Today is water day for me but it's been raining and it's a lot cooler today. Bags still had weight to them. I want them to have a proper wet dry cycle. Temps top out at 75° so I'll monitor during the day and if something NEEDS WATER I'll give it to it. I'm suprised I have ZERO WPM. The septoria is much more identifiable but pm is usual present in these conditions bur I don't have a spot of it. I may do some defoliation today. I also need to add supports for flowering but one thing at a time. EDIT: Went over around noon. 70°. Bags seem to be holding weight (it was easier to tell as ONE plant was substantially lighter than the rest) so I decided to hold off on watering. At least until tonight. There are three plants (at least that are going to NEED water). They look phenomenal now though and we've had lots of rain. Plan is to go over later and get the light ones and mix the water for the others so I can administer it in the morning quickly. I have an early doctor's appointment but I don't to overwater or water unnecessarily just because. But when you grow alone sometimes you need to do things when your able. I have people there that would help if I asked. And I have before but its late . I'm very grateful. I defoliated quite a few septoria leaves. They were all from the bottom of the plant. A couole wete bottom interior. I know there are worse things to contend with but still a pain. EDIT #2 WENT BACK AT FOUR AND PLANTS LOOKED FANTASTIC AND STILL HELD WEIGHT. THE REVEG MK ULTRA IN EARLY FLOWER "MAY" HAVE STARTED TO DROOP AND "SEEMED" LIGHT. THE LARGE SPECIAL KUSH FUETHEST IN FLOWER BY THE DOOR WAS ALSO EXRRENELY LIGHT. I HAVE AN EARLY DOCTORS APPOINTMENT BUT DONT WANT TO OVER WATER MY PLANTS JUST BECAUSE IM IN A HURRY. ITS COOLER THIS WEEK. 70 TODAY AND HIGH OF 80 TOMORROW BUT DAD SAID THATS NOT UNTIL THE AFTERNOON. I MIXED UP ENOUGH WATER TO WATER EVERYTHING IN THE MORNING IF IT NEEDS IT. I HAVE AN IMPORTANT DOCTORS APPOINTMENT EARLY THAT WILL TAKE ME AWAY AND IM FEELING A LITTLE ILL SO I WANTED TO GET DONE WHAT I COULD TODAY.
