Hey growmies, this was unexpected but the plants were ready for harvest after just 8 weeks. I bought a new tricome microscope and checked the trichomes on the three Mimosa ladies. To my surprise all three plants had milky trichomes and even amber ones already. There were still many white pistils on the buds but looks can be deceiving 😁 With milky and amber trichomes the plants have reached their full potential so it’s time to harvest them. The late bloomer and the fast grower had the most buds, but the hash plant had the most trichomes by far. It took me 3,5 hours to wet trim the buds and after trimming I had enough scissor hash to load my Pax vape and try it out. The taste was unmistakably orange/tangie and really sweet. The effect was a strong head high, almost trippy and slowly fading into a super relaxing body stone. This will be my new favorite strain for sure ✌️ Smoke report The Mimosa Orange Punch has a very nice taste. It's mostly tangie/orange with a citrus taste that lingers in your mouth minutes after taking a hit. The effect is also great. At first the effect seems a very mellow and pleasant head high, after 30 minutes it changes to a more relaxing/sedative state where I almost fell asleep on the couch. After this it changes back to the very uplifting and clear head high. I made some rosin from the keef in the trimbin and it had a stronger body effect compared to the flower. But also excellent taste! This is an excellent smoke for both day and nightime. I can recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty smoke while getting things done.

End of Week 15 (8th week of flower) I have stopped the CO2 supplementation for this week and onwards as the plants naturally slow down photosynthesis and it is not needed during the last 2 weeks of flower. Also raised the lights by 5cm to make sure the trichomes don't get damaged and also dropped the RH and temperatures even more than last week, and surely the colours are becoming more and more vibrant as the ladies are fading into their autumn shades. Feeding just water since middle last week, all I'm doing is giving the ladies PH correct water until harvest to naturally deplete the soil from nutrients and flush out the soil slowly this will help bring out even more colours as the ladies use up the remaining nutrients stored in their leaves as they reach the end of their life cycle. I skipped a week as I was away from my plants, had to plant 2 of them into bigger pots when I got back. Growing so fast right now, only the one plant that's a bit behind in growing. Might be the night time temperatures or maybe not enough nitrogen. Not too sure. Leaving them on the same nutrient schedule until I flip the lights.

Sanlight evo at 100% Day 64: flushed yesterday. One week now and then 72 hours of darkness. Looks and smells really good 🤙 Day 67: looking good 👍 a couple of days now, then darkness 🤙 Day 69: well, that's IT🤗 The Journey Has come to an end.... 😢 Today I turned off the lights, sprayed purolyt. Como podemos ver ya todas están para el corte o casi, en algunas tendré que seleccionar el pheno, ya que hay alguna que me gusto más que la otra, en general un terpeno muy diferente en cada variedad y también la calidad de la resina, en general mucha resina, pero por ejemplo he podido observas que los tricomas de la Gorilla Melon son más grandes y se oxidan de una manera más lenta, ideal para hacer extracciones, en cambio, la Reinbow Melon .... ese terpeno dulce intenso tanto que es hasta abrumador...me muero de ganas ya de probarla... la Lemon Mandarín es exagerado el olor que tiene a mandarina si cierras los ojos y ueles fuere parece que te vayas a comer una buena mandarina y la Paya Sherbet tiene un olor dulce y muy agradable, pero nada que aún pueda relacionad del todo..... un saludo y buenos humos fam.
