Day 12 - Checked PPM 255. First visible roots sticking out from netpot. Plant is green and happy. Added 2 mL CalMag PPM 300. Day 14 - Checked PPM 268. Raised bucket and plant. Light is 26 inches from top of plant. Adjusted light duration to 20 hours on and 4 hours off. Half a dozen roots sticking out from bottom of netpot. 3rd set of leaves have 5 fingers. I believe this means its no longer a seedling. Now entering VEG.

So it has begun... I've had to start utilizing string to hold up branches by tying them to the ceiling rods and surrounding equipment. These plants are healthier and happier than my first grow, so I wasn't quite expecting them to blow up like they did, therefore my single-layer screen was not enough to support the branches. Not to mention the net used was store-bought and kind of sucks. I prefer my double-layer from the first harvest. The Mimosa is packing on some major frost, followed closely by the Glookies. American Pie trichomes seem to appear and ripen much closer to the ending stages of flower.

Harvested these girls at the 9 week Mark I could have pushed another week or so but there were amber trichomes and the temp were getting crazy in the wardrobe this time of year but everything had turned out sweet! The girls look and smell amazing frost everywhere. Forbidden runtz is still growing see how she goes. Fastbuds are reliable ❄️💣

It was approximately week 7 of flowering, and it was time to harvest the plant as the first signs of bud rot had already appeared on the larger buds. I had to discard approximately 10% of the harvest due to mold, but despite this, the guerilla grow was still a successful one. The harvested buds were immediately placed in the freezer and will be processed into bubble hash in the autumn. In terms of terpenes, it has a slightly fruity aroma with a hop-like finish.

Day 44- I need to back off on the water nutes, I am forgetting the soil is strong enough. I will flush with plain water next time. Maybe I should do a plain water foliar feed? I’m still learning. But I think those B vitamins are keeping their metabolism high! Then I feel the need to spoon feed. After giving them much needed calcium, I start adding other things. Those Epsom Salts plus the amino acids on a plant with high metabolism receiving more B1, all while having lots of amended neem cake in the media, is going to be processing a sh*t load of nitrogen! Back to plain water. Another idea, maybe I will flush a little bit, and feed just CalMag. Day 48 I realized I haven’t gotten any pictures in for this week! Not that big of a mistake compared to the one I just corrected! The video is taken when they are back inside for the night as it a cold windy night, and they could use more light. I am not talking because I am sick and can’t talk to well. But it’s just quickly showing how they look after the whole ordeal I am about to mention. So I woke up this morning, and noticed all of the plants were showing subtle signs of a deficiency. Different deficiencies too! Some are going on the calcium deficiency, others potassium, some manganese even maybe a few others to be honest. Sometimes I could only see signs in the old leaves, and other times I would see signs in new leaves. Either way “most” of them were looking pretty good. But something about all this variability with different plants was oddly unsettling to me. I figured I had better stick the soil pH meter in there and make sure it’s not a pH issue. And to my horror, pH of barely 4.5!! More like 4.20! But honestly it was that low!!!! A miracle these plants haven’t locked out yet! But how did this happen? Yes it is all coming together for me. Every water I have been giving feed-water. I have been watering with a little runoff, but not enough runoff to manage what I was putting in! I’ve been “feed-watering” a lot more than usual because the pots are tiny and it’s super hot and mega dry during the days. Like 75-80 degrees (F) and 10-25% relative humidity lately. So no wonder they are drying out fast. All those salts left behind from last feed. So they built up, apparently pretty high. I didn’t think I was feeding too much, especially because I would get a descent amount to drain out the bottoms every time. Either way, I fed too heavy and flushed too little! So I brought out the foxfarm SLEDGEHAMMER!!!!! Did a quick flush, flushed with plain water to get the sledgehammer out, then a recheck on the soil pH meter. Comes out 6.8! So I gave feed-water at ph of 7 afterwords. They were dry enough before all of this, I conveniently avoided damping issues. Now they will dry out and receive plain pH 7 RO water on next watering. I still have lots of doubt as if I have any clue what I am doing! But so far so good. I try to support the microbes as much as possible, i definitely could use their support. And it might be because of the microbes, CalMag and fulvic acid, that has prevented lockout. But yeah the fact the pH in the soil was corrected with a flush, gives me a peace of mind. The other three from “The Hondo Titan” diary had high levels of sulfur to lime, the flush did not fix, so I repotted them in new soil with pH 7. Also those hydroton expanded clay pebbles become rich with acidic salts, because the water leaves and all the nutes and minerals are captured and stored with the pebbles. Good in small levels. But if the pot dries out every day, those pebbles will eventually make the pH meter smack the end suggesting less than pH of 3.5!!!!!!!! But no pebbles were used on these girls thankfully!!

10/22: wow… what a mess. I should have defoliated last week. They were incredibly overgrown and now i had to stress the hell out of them to get the tent cleared up for light. Hopefully the stress does not cause any issues. As if the defoliation was bot enough stress on them, my light height has reached its top, and PL1 had two colas starting that were already pressed into the light. And so i removed their tops a node or two down. Im sure this was as good as hitting the plant in the face with a brick. Hope she recovers! If youve been following along, you know i planted these with hopes for the extremely purple pheno. And i believe that if i had it, she would have started showing her colors by now. Looking forward to seeing what these turn into and if they make it without any issues after i kicked them around a bit.

Day 50 to 56 Tuesday Day 50 Still on the half bloom from yesterday. Almost done stretch. Balanced the canopy. Lights are 12-14" from the lights at 450w which is ~700 umol. Seeing little rust spots. I think it's Cal def? Added magnifical up to 920ppm. D51: I believe I have been hitting too hard with nutes :) added water to res and back down to 720ppm. Got advice that I'm probably dealing with PK overdose and it adds up. D52 Problem is no longer progressing as quickly, however still some signs. D53 Res nearly empty. Added water down to 350ppm till empty. D54 Problem appears to be better but still feeding slow. 🤑. D55 Flushed the solo cup. Refed at 500ppm full bloom. Fed rest at 500ppm full bloom. D56 Another quick day at 500ppm and tomorrow I'll bump to 650ppm.

Day 29 - All the ladies are now in flower & starting to stretch like crazy! The Rock Machine has a very nice natural canopy, can’t wait to see how these buds turn out! This week, we concentrated on maintaining consistent environmental conditions, implementing light defoliation, and introducing low-stress training (LST) to encourage optimal growth and development. Plant Progress: 1. Tropicana Cookies: Growth: The plant showed significant progress, reaching a height of 37 cm by mid-week. Health: The plants remained healthy throughout the week. No signs of nutrient burn or deficiencies were noted. Interventions: Regular watering with 2 liters on alternating days and nutrient feeding with Alfa Boost at 1-1.5 ml/L. Light defoliation was performed on the 23rd to improve light penetration and airflow. Environmental Conditions: Maintained a stable temperature range (25-27°C during the day and 20-21°C at night) with relative humidity levels ranging from 62% to 75%. Increased PPFD to 500 towards the end of the week. Training: Introduced LST on the 27th to promote even canopy development and better light exposure to lower nodes. 2. Gorilla Zkittlez: Growth: Continued healthy growth, with notable vertical development reaching 21 cm by the end of the week. Health: Overall health was good, with no significant issues. A slight abrasion on a large fan leaf was monitored but did not worsen. Interventions: Followed the same watering and feeding schedule as Tropicana Cookies. Conducted light defoliation on the 23rd to enhance airflow. Environmental Conditions: Similar stable conditions as the other strains, with temperature and humidity maintained within optimal ranges. PPFD was increased to 500. Training: LST was implemented on the 27th to encourage bushier growth and ensure even light distribution. 3. Apple Strudel: Growth: Displayed steady growth, reaching a height of 21 cm by the end of the week. Health: Maintained good health throughout the week with no visible signs of stress or nutrient issues. Interventions: Consistent watering and feeding regimen with 2 liters of water on watering days and Alfa Boost nutrients. Light defoliation was done on the 23rd. Environmental Conditions: Environmental parameters were kept stable, mirroring the conditions of the other strains. The increase in humidity to 75% towards the end of the week was monitored. Training: LST was applied on the 27th to support even growth and improve light access to all parts of the plant. General Observations and Actions: Lighting and CO2 Enhancement: Continued to monitor and adjust the PPFD levels to ensure optimal light exposure for all plants, with a final adjustment to 500 towards the end of the week. CO2 levels were kept stable to support healthy growth. Nutrient Management: The consistent use of Alfa Boost and Epsom Salt has been effective, with no signs of overfeeding or deficiencies observed. Training and Defoliation: Light defoliation was carried out to enhance light penetration and airflow, reducing the risk of mold and pests. LST was introduced to encourage more even and bushy growth, promoting better overall plant health and yield potential. Conclusion: Week 4 has shown continued healthy development across all strains. The plants are responding well to the environmental conditions, nutrient regimen, and training techniques.
