~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #2 is just an enormous plant with tons of bud sites and flowers that are starting to get a coating of white trichomes giving them that frosty appearance! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. OMG they're both looking fantastic, both are amazing cultivars with a generous coating of trichomes beginning to cover their flowers. I'm really looking forward to Week Five of flower where these ladies should really start to turn it up a notch!! 😍💚 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Week 1 of flower

Just at the end of week # 2 in bloom , LST training is going well and the canopy is pretty full , cooler outside temps allow me to use my co2 burner and they are all looking great with lots of bud sites and liking the nutrient balance, made new nuits today and it went from 1400 to 1150 in two feedings , one more week of stretch and then I will finish the under canopy cleanup and plan on a light defoliation at week 4 of bloom. The 8 Ball Kush is really showing great growth and it’s early on , should be some huge buds this crop , the Blue OG Kush is healthy , it’s my first time with it so I’m not sure what it grows like . Both of the girls are really packing on the weight now. These are their last week or two. Haven't decided whether I'm going to harvest this week or next. But you'll see a harvest post soon, I'm sure :) It doesn't look like left is quite ready for harvest(white hairs popping up still), but I'm going to chop them both at the same time, regardless. I may do so a bit later on account of left being behind. If anything, I'll just harvest right, then do left a week or so later. Cheers everyone! Really like this strain, but it does have quite ugly leaves lmao. Update: The girls officially got the chop on the 20th. They've been drying ever since. Did a leaf strip and then hung em up. Stay tuned next week for a grow/smoke report :) Harvested at about 90% cloudy 10% amber trichs. The smell is incredible! I can smell it as soon as I open the door to the room they're drying in. This was a pretty fun grow, but I don't think I'll be running this strain again during the winter. Looking for more hardy strains to better handle our fluctuating climate.

Still battling a potassium deficiency. Not sure exactly why. I raised the temp of my tent by 5 degrees and I flushed the system. Been using fox farm nutrient schedule the entire way except for adding cal mag and hydrogen peroxide. Boosted the cha Ching and added an extra tablespoon of the base nutrients. But I’m still proud of the way this guy is looking 💪 🌱 💨 Mid week update! Got a new microscopic camera... so enjoy the view 😉

So 3 weeks in, 4 were males, unfortunately all 4 were descendants of mephisto’s gen’s. Bit disappointed about that but what can ya do. After growing 10 of the bitches at once I am NEVER doing that again. People always talk about how many they want to grow before they do… to those that haven’t started in this pursuit yet, heed my warning lol. They just hit their pre flower growth spurt, I did have 30 days marked on their lives on a reminder on my phone to defoliate because last grow I had so much larf. The fog dog grows nice and stout, the glue sniffers tall and lanky. Both phenos differ very little. I cut off like 3/4 of the bottom nodes off each. Fingers crossed they take it well.

Unsure yet she's staying very tight so its a little harder to gauge how she'll respond I thought I should add, with the way I lst, I like to get as much defoilation out the way before flipping to flower that way all she does in flower is just get fat and lovely. Seemed to work well coming from only doing Autoflowers so just using that knowledge and implementing to my photo grows and tweaking it

Day 7 Veg: A great start for the ladies has been slowed slightly by leaving them a few days too long in their germination pots. I usually plant into the final.pot from seed bit uad to wait this time for space. They took a hit with transplant shock I think and a few deformed leaf sets have resulted. I think this will sort itself once the plants resettle bit with time being precious on autos , I hope its soon. One of the Banana Mash is a real mutant it seems with two odd looking leaves and a tiny bit of new node showing through. The Purple monkey are all doing very well so far and rhe transplant has not hit them so hard. i also think I have a mango cream growing from a seed that popped out of the mango crop I did. lets see. Yeah I let her go a little long... I didn't defoliate... and she is tight and furry... my fault.. lost the cola and 4 nice buds.. but she is nice besides that.. my fuck up.. I knew in the back of my mind... this was going to happen.. I'm still happy with it.. and I'm ok with how my laziness caused this... I should have defoliated her.... I still got some serious nice buds that smell great... and I took her as far as she would go for me... but.. I got clones... flowering now.. so I might want to defoliate them... hahahahahaha it might help... 🤗

Hello everyone 😎 Week 2 for my girl it’s time for Topping & some LST She is doing very well,growing at fast pace and with a beautiful green colour on the leaves. Have a nice day 😎

Found some issues with reducing the CalMag. A couple phenos stated to fade and show red spotting on lower leaves. I went back up to 2ml of calmag and will see if that helps. The smells coming out of the tent are very pleasant. Very citrus in nature with pine undertones. At the beginning of this week I have noticed hairs are starting to turn brown. The plan is to harvest at Day 70. I will flush with ph water around day 60. I am hoping for some plumping up coming in the next couple weeks as most phenos stayed lighter than expected.
