Week 8 Water only at 800ml lowering the lights on temps to 22c (70f) let see if we can get the purple senescence this 5g has been threatening and we know the Velvet Octane will finish with. Every girl is finishing nicely, FROSTY AF, and the smells are fantastic and sweet and slap you in the face the moment you open the tent. These girls are just getting photogenic so more to come next week.

Overal I’m very happy. The weight’s looking insane. Obviously imma update you after drying and curing. Can’t say to much at this point, apart from the fact that everything is looking very nice!

Coming to a close here with Tangie'matic. This grow has been so enriching! I decided to go outside of my comfort zone and head strong into the controversial world of topping autoflowers. Some people swear by it, others stand by their stance that topping an autoflower will destroy any chance at a decent yield by stunting the plant in its already limited life cycle. This plant has been a true partner throughout this grow process. I pushed with the top, she pushed back with buds. I pushed her again by changing her grow environment when I decided to prematurely move my grow tent into the basement. She stacked and fattened. When I traveled and let her house get too chilly, she tossed me a couple of foxtails to remind me that I need to do a better job. I responded with more environment correction and she rewarded me by finishing up beautifully.

After 11 weeks, I harvested the plants in two stages. It went faster than I thought, and the yields are impressive. The yields are much better for the four plants that I was able to keep shorter in height. They developed more dense, firm buds than the taller four plants, which is why I harvested them a few days later. I only watered with water during the last week and lowered the light to 600-700 ppfd. I'm drying now at 20 degrees Celsius and 55-60% relative humidity until the first stems snap, then the herb goes into hygrometer jars for curing. This time I trimmed wet because there were some really thick branches, and I didn't want to risk mold. All in all, it looks like a good harvest. I misjudged the height with this strain. I thought I could keep the plants relatively short by using topping and LST (low-stress training). This only worked for half of them. One of the plants was about 3 cm below the light, which is really suboptimal because I have no space above. I might have chosen a smaller pot size and swapped the plants' positions more often. I was also a bit too cautious with defoliation and pruning, but this was planned as an experiment to grow bushier plants, which didn't make me as happy in my application. Due to the high CO2 content, the cannabis grows exceptionally bushy and leafy. It requires regular pruning. The buds themselves have turned out really well. They are nice and firm, some quite large, and covered with many trichomes. The smell of the strain is less intense than I thought but still very pleasant.

Just gave her a tea last night. The tea consisted of: -1 gallon of water -15ml Be-1 pellets -15ml grokashi -1.5ml Be-2 -5ml slf100 -3ml fish head farms "fish sh!t" -3ml Nourish-L -5ml homemade FPJ -5ml Em1 Brewed for 26 hours She is growing fast and takes well to training. So far I have topped her main stem, then topped again at each end. I removed 2 fan leaves so that the under growth could get more light. And I've tied down the 2 main lines. I don't plan on topping anymore, but i do plan to train and tie down areas to get the biggest and most even canopy for this girl when she's ready to flower. 😍😍😍 its that time again already!!!! the flowers are coming on very nicely. I did the yoga session and get all the under canopy trimmed up. So tricky without being able to get to the back middle from the front but well worth the effort. I should film it one of the times hahaha only have to do it once a harvest but damn. anyways.......I made my own co2 mix this time, had enough lol all it is, is 2 cups of sugar and some yeast lol no need to pay $28 a batch for it, man i feel silly now. got the co2 in there and started using a new terp and resin enhancer called, well, resin lol this stuff smells even better than terpinator some how lol definetely excited to smell and taste the results. Continued with the microbiable mass every 2nd week and also got rid of the pully things i had and did a hard zip tie to the beams so i could raise the light up another 4-5 inches. This should help the outer perameter get some extra light it was not before. All in all, i'm very happy!!! the scrog is even better than last run with almost the whole tent absolutey packed. though there is still some room for improvement of course! left is SLIGHTLY more bushy canopy up this run to see if i can increase the yeilds with a new strategy. This guy is one of the easiest I have ever grown, barely needing any water or nutrients, but he us just spreading out great. Should have a few nice little colas. I know what this light can produce, so anything near an ounce would be phenomenal. Peaceout Mosuckas

One more week is behind us, buds are getting bigger, day by day. smelling incredible and is frosty A.F. on pics is 24 days in flowering, She has biggest buds in growroom 😅😊

d43 - 9.26 - Recovering quite nicely. Was able do just about all the training and trimming I want to before I switch to flower around the end of week 8. My Fast White Widows are definitely more ground hugging, while the Black Sugars are reachers, but still manageable. They have all been trained to best fit the recovery of each individual plant, so my canopy definitely isn't going to be even 😅Nonetheless, grateful they have been resilient little buggers and happy for the chance to take them flower, regardless of whether I'll have the picture perfect tent. 🙏 D47 - 9.30 - I lied. I had to train a little more. One BS cola was really outgrowing the rest, and the opposite side of plant had taken for damage from bug treatment two weeks ago so i HST'd it back and spread the other. Still planning to flower them in 7-14 days!

My Strawberry Gorilla Automatic from Fast Buds is now in its third week of flowering, and I couldn’t be happier with how she’s progressing. She looks incredibly healthy, with vibrant green leaves and strong branches. The stretch phase is nearly over, and she has developed a solid structure with a well-defined main cola.🌱 One of the most exciting changes this week is the first appearance of trichomes on the main bud. Under the light, they’re starting to sparkle, hinting at the resin production that’s about to take off. The buds are forming nicely, and I can already smell a faint but promising aroma developing. So far, she’s responding well to the nutrients and environment, with no signs of deficiencies or stress. If she keeps going at this pace, she’s going to be a real beast by harvest time.😊

Day 130 / Week 8 of flowering: @ this point can clearly identify 3 different phenotypes in this grow.. one of them; plant #1 and #3 seem to be both pretty similar also regarding their maturation, they are about a week behind the other two plants. Plants #2 and #4 are both looking like they will get ready next week or so.. i have already flushed those two ladies. Still there is a huge difference in plant and bud structure and when i touch them i can identify two completely different terpene profiles. Plant #2 was always the smallest of the pack, very bushy, somehow i didn't like her as much as the others.. but i had that feeling that that could change at any time..and so it came that she turned out to be my favorite. As soon as she was starting fo flower i could see her real potential, the buds she is carring are just how i like them to be and the smell she gives off is citric skunky. Plant #3 on the other hand has a sweet berry flavour combined with the stinch of a stinkbug. Day 132 / Week 8 of flowering: Today i flushed plants #1 and # 3 withe 20l water each. I removed two buds that had bud rot Day 134 / Week 8 of Flowering: Today i cut down plant #4 that was several days ahead of all the others, she's been flushed and has been drying out since, she was literally drying, not only the soil. The harvest looks pretty decent, i will update as soon as i have the dry weight and now.some more.about flavours and high of the plant. The remaining 3 plants received 2l of water each, just to hold on for a few more days..next plant to come down is plant #2, the other two can take about a week longer judging by the big amount of pistils that are still white (around 70%).
