Through every stage — from seedling to lush vegetation, from first pre-flower pistils to dense, frosty colas — these BlueBerries have been nothing short of spectacular. Last week brought a challenge: Bud rot found its way into one of our beauties. But quick action, gentle hands, and a bit of intuition made all the difference. We removed the affected areas, adjusted airflow, and kept a close eye. This week, we’re happy to say no new signs of rot — just thriving flowers and crystal-coated buds glowing under the light. 🌞 Environmental Notes It’s been hot, really hot — outdoor temps reaching 45°C (around 110°F). To manage, we’re running the grow during night cycles, where we can keep the environment steadier. Even with heat challenges, the girls are handling it like queens — strong stems, thick stalks, and buds forming beautifully from top to bottom. 🌿 Feeding & Support Our current recipe remains the Aptus + Plagron combo: • Aptus Regulator, CalMag Boost • Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal & Green Sensation Together, they’re forming the symphony of this bloom — supporting cell structure, enhancing terpene expression, and encouraging thick resin development. The plants react well to the switch to 12/12 and continue to stretch and fill out their grow space. They love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and have a healthy green color all over. The first signs of flowering (=white hairs) start to appear and both plants are female (as expected from feminized seeds). Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plant #2 is appr. 12 cm taller than plant #1 at this time.

[Week 10 - Harvest] The Fat Banana plant has reached its peak maturity within the minigrow box. We harvest the plant, trim the buds, and prepare them for the drying and curing process. And there you have it—the weekly progress of a Fat Banana Cannabis plant, grown within a minigrow box, resulting in a super quick and easy grow in just 10 weeks!

SUNDAY 5/5: Rearranged the gardens..have 17 plants in the 4 x 5 now...yowsa! MONDAY: Plucked some dead leaves and did a trichrome check on her. She's getting close now! Prolly about 70% cloudy and 5% amber! TUESDAY: I observed some white spots on a few leaves here and there, so I sprayed her today with Trifecta Crop Cure, a concoction of a bunch of natural plant oils. I already decreased the humidity in the room to 45% with my new 70L dehumidifier, so I think she'll be fine. I'll spray her again tomorrow and the next day, then I'll have to hope that did the trick, because she is already in the harvest window. WEDNESDAY: I watered her today and included a bunch of terpinator, bud candy, bembe, and cha ching. It was her last dose of any nutes...flushing with spring water from here on out. THURSDAY: Took a couple of photos and tried installing my new Solacure FlowerPower UVB light, but it was dead on arrival.😢..back to the 15.0 reptile UVB lights for now I guess...

So pheno #2 is already done some how way before the others the rest have a couple of weeks left till chop got 3 different phenos but probably won’t run this one again tbh but everyone’s different and likes different things!

That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). She has developed very well this week. I will give you 7-10 days before I switch to flowering. Was a good second week, had some heat issues in the beginning, but once I rerouted my flowering tents air conditioner exhaust outside instead of the room this tent was in she cooled down. I was heating my basement with the exhaust from one of my air conditioners and my light exhaust as well. Snows coming soon so I’m trying to recycle some heat instead of dumping it outside, I will move them back in probably when we hit the -20c to -40c weather in a month or so....Lol Topped her yesterday at day 15 at the 4th node. She didn’t even flinch! Roots are well established now and growing daily. Still got 2-3 weeks or so till they can hit the flowering tent so I will be making some more insulated top covers with anchor wires attached to begin LST once these new tops come up in a week or so. Loving this UC Roots stuff, keeping my shit pristine in all the buckets across all my tents. Even my RDWC systems are sparking clean still well into flowering, can’t really see my roots to much anymore to check them though because they are screened and Scrog’d out. But if the res and water is sparkling I’m hoping the rest is...lol well that’s it for this week! Cheers! 💨

ciao a tutti, le piante sembrano stare bene. Da quando ho tolto lo scrog non mi sembra ci siano state molte differenze nella struttura generale delle piante, sembrano stare su anche senza l'aiuto della rete. I fiori hanno iniziato a formarsi, ma ho alzato la lampada di qualche cm perché la punta dei fiori della purple punch stavano diventando albini per la troppa luce (che stava causando il problema), mentre nessun problema nella glookies. Le piante sono alte all'incirca 40 cm e sono molto simili per superficie occupata, tuttavia la glookies ha una settimana in meno di vegetativa rispetto alla purple punch, la quale essendo a forte predominanza indica (10%-90%) si è allungata meno nelle prime settimane di fioritura rispetto alla glookies (30%-70%). La purple punch rimane comunque a mio avviso più compatta e ramificata rispetto all'altra pianta. Ho aggiunto 20 litri d'acqua con la quantità di fertilizzanti scritta sopra e ho aggiunto infine direttamente nella soluzione circolante 15 ml di pH- poichè il pH aveva raggiunto un valore di 6.6. edit giorno 25: si inizia a sentire un certo odore super dolce. Il pH si è assestato sui 5.9 prima di versare 10l d'acqua con l'aggiunta di 0,8ml/l di floragrow 1,6ml/l di floramicro 2,4ml/l di flrabloom 1ml/l di calmag Le piante sembrano stare molto bene👌

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Here’s the current nutrient mix: • System Clean: 0.5 ml/L • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • RO Water Conditioner: 0.8 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid: 2.1 ml/L I’m keeping the pH at 6.1 and TDS at 556 ppm, and so far, the plants are thriving. This week also included a thorough system clean, ensuring everything runs smoothly as we enter the final flowering stages. 🌿 Bud Development: Pure Magic! The bud formation across all the genetics is nothing short of incredible. Every plant is thriving, and the canopy is lush, vibrant, and full of potential. I’ve raised the PPFD to 750 for this stage, with temps steady at 25°C and RH at 63%—keeping the VPD dialed in at 1.11.
