I wasn’t sure what to expect from this friend of a friends moms seed bank but she had some little gems stashed away have to say they’re looking like a promising strain. Handmade soil: - potting mix, pearlite, fish/seaweed slow release pellet emulsion, lava rock, compost, cow manure, chicken manure, worm castings, dolomite lime, Epsom salts, Bio-Char & Seasol Gold liquid fertiliser to wet.

I thought I would see some more explosive growth after the first few weeks of veg went so powerfully but things have slowed Now I’m thinking it’s either a small plant with small features or the transplant to fabric and also indoor lighting change may have stunted her The plant has pronounced knuckles at every joint on the main stem and every off shoot tends to grow in slight elongated zig-zags as they reach outward also noticing what I would call ‘odd’ internode spacing and flower site spacing. Going to observe

Looking into Eco-oil and need oil treatments for thrips and aphids noticing more and more damage and starting to appear in colonies of about 10-20 under certain leaves Happy with overall flower development although wishing the Plant really expanded and stretched her arms a bit more

Aphid population has doubled noticing heaps of damage in the form of silvery shiny marks or imperfections on each leaf the plant might be responding as I’ve noticed the hue of green starting to become deeper/darker

For a stunted or small plant it’s got big character beautiful colour and intriguing looking buds can’t wait to watch over the next few weeks as trichs begin to sprout and buds begin to cluster Noticing a mild smell now really fruity sweet notes but expecting that will develop

Nothing much more to do maybe a little more defoliation but really just waiting for the fun stuff watching sugar leaf progression, trichome population, stigma density and colour overall bud fatness to develop and really find out what the terp profile will develop into. It’s gone from really sweet fruity notes at a mild intensity to a really fuely, cheesy, skunky or ‘hydro’ smell at a medium intensity im hoping it finds an equilibrium for those fruity notes to shine through but at the moment no matter what happens these buds are going to be great quality.

Having a few dramas with the aircon unit in my tent. Apparently they don’t make an air conditioner small enough for a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.0m tent. I don’t have the ability to setup a ‘lung’ room (because tent is inside a big shed) so, the portable ac is situated inside the tent. Dealing with stale dusty shed air as well as negative pressure inside the tent from the A/c means constantly sucking in regurgitated stale air. Extraction fan on low trying to limit negative pressure between A/c cycles. **Symptoms** - A/c doesn’t maintain temperature (when light’s on tent reads 27° when set to 18°) - A/c doesn’t regulate humidity (In Dehumidifier mode temperature drops significantly 13°L-17°H at night 20°L-24°H day and humidity drops only to 60% and only while A/c is ‘in cycle’ humidity rapidly returns to 80% when not in cycle) **Speculation** Portable A/c is a minimal 2.0kw yet has the power to recycle large volumes of air putting it inside a small tent means it has cycled the air from the tent nearly instantly not giving the A/c compressor/magical-inner-workings enough time to do their thing, together with tent placement and no lung room the A/c seems to struggle keeping temperature or dehumidifying Thinking of keeping dehumidifier mode on and also buying a dehumidifier so the temp and humidity are down more consistently but until I can change location I’m stuck dealing with 13° nights and barely workable humidity or 80% humidity at night and tolerable temps haha what a conundrum after spending on an A/c

These golf balls are starting to enlarge! every little part of the flower is swelling and looking more and more amazing by the day :D I didn’t realise just how much of the bud forms in the last two weeks of flower but I’m seriously impressed! going to keep the nutrients up until the last week (basically one more feed) and then flush with straight PH water for the last week Can’t wait to have a second run of these girls without the inherent ‘first run’ issues. Have learned a lot already through this grow, going to make a few adjustments between now and next run hopefully increasing yield and quality Big thanks to anyone reading/following along it’s great to be part of a community of deadset botanical legends thanks for all advice that has come my way already, it’s helped overstep some otherwise lengthy trivial pursuits ;) Cheers guys and gals StoneJackson

I love this little indica strain I don’t what it is but it’s got great buds it’s been a pleasure to grow and I can’t wait to smoke it. One more week should do it then the long slow cure! If you notice the new.. ‘net’ It was too bushy in there, I cut the net and removed all the plants from the tent this week, used 4 lengths of rope and hung a 1.2mx1.2m piece of concrete steel mesh from the roof of the tent. This helps hold the walls of the tent from being sucked in from the negative pressure generated by the A/C in dehumidifier mode. Now the spread of every plant is much better I can tie back to points on the mesh because of the rigidity even push the arms down slightly bowing them out at the bottom and hold them in place with zip ties opening up the centre of the plant and making for a more aerated and even canopy. Cheers for following along so far leave a comment or like when you pop into the page so I know who’s following the journeys

Still watching the thrichomes but no amber colour yet, this is the start of 9th week flower. Strong savoury smell and dense buds not as fury as I was hoping but lovely looking Nugs none-the-less. I’ll try to pull at 1/3 amber but watching the cloudiness looking for well balanced effects.

Watching the trichomes very closely I’m seeing a lot of amber ‘heads’ still plenty of cloudy tri’s, even some are still transparent. Next few days week max If anyone feels like chiming in leave a comment with suggestion or tips on when to pull, curing Methods or just anything in general here to learn and share
