Ende Woche 5 / Anfang Woche 6 – Grow Diary Mimosa x 🍊👊🏻 Barney’s Farm Die Woche lief vom Wachstum her wieder richtig gut. Die beiden Pflanzen haben nochmal ordentlich aufgebaut und sind auch noch ein Stück in die Höhe gegangen, typischer Stretch in der Phase. Ich habe außerdem nochmal etwas Erde nachgefüllt (Light Mix von Plagron), um den Wurzeln weiterhin eine gute Basis zu geben. Bei der vorderen Pflanze habe ich leicht entlaubt, damit das Licht besser in die unteren Bereiche kommt. Habe aber darauf geachtet, es nicht zu übertreiben. Aktuell bin ich weiterhin sehr zufrieden mit dem Verlauf. Jetzt wird es spannend zu sehen, wie sich die Blüten in den nächsten Wochen entwickeln und wie die Buds an Masse zulegen. Days 35-42 (Day 36) Some minor problems starting to arise here. A few times this week it got up to 90+ degrees which I think may have caused a bit of heat stress in some of the plants. I’m seeing a bit of cupping/crinkles on some of the fan leaves and some of the new growth is looking pretty gnarled and twisted. I hear windburn can cause this too so I’m turning my fans down to low speed. This could also be a problem with humidity so I’m going to turn off my humidifier, dim the lights and raise them. During my last feeding I mulched in some worm castings but it seems like they’re keeping the soil/coco from drying out. Pots are still decently heavy and even the surface is still quite moist but they aren’t showing any major signs of overwatering. I figure it will only be a few weeks before the castings break down so I will just leave it. A few of the plants are starting to show yellowing leaf tips which is probably some kind of micro nutrient lockout from my PH being slightly too high. It could also be from nute burn so I will water in 6.0 until I see some runoff. Although the most likely culprit is potassium excess. I’ve been feeding potassium almost as much as nitrogen so far. I know that can cause the yellowing of leaf tips by locking out trace minerals. It can also cause leaf problems like crinkling. Excess K can even cause water retention! Will water at 6.0 until run off next watering. The lst is coming along nicely. It was a good idea to remove the first two sets of branches (not leaves). Now I have 4-6 perfectly even stems coming from each plant that I plan to top one more time each. (Day 37) Today I’m going to vacuum, clean, wipe down and spray all my equipment in the tent. I’ve been letting the floor get quite dirty and I haven’t had the chance for a thorough clean since last round. I’m kind of surprised I haven’t seen any powdery mildew yet. I guess the prevention spray is working because the room has to be infected from my last crop. (Day 40) I was reading that you can foliar spray whatever you are deficient in for an immediate uptake. I‘m going to try that with my current potassium excess since it locks out trace minerals. I’m going to foliar feed a bit of phytoplankton at 15ml/L and some MagnifiCal + VeloKelp from Remo nutrients both at 5ml/L. The cal mag is not organic but as long as it’s not going into the soil and doesn’t contain chlorine I’m fine with it. I’m also going to be changing the light cycle to 18/6 for the remainder of veg. This will be their first dark cycle so they can properly foliar feed. Edit: humidity shot up to 85% a few hours after foliar spray. I went to top dress everything today and I mixed up the plants while doing so! So the ones I was unsure about I gave 1 extra tablespoon. I won’t top dress again for at least 10 days. Might give a light tea sometime next week. I also tilled the shit out of the top of each pot. It had a hard crusty layer on top that was keeping the medium from drying out properly. I’m not going to water again until everything is bone dry. Then I will water until slight runoff at 6.0 ph with some Dr. Marijane bacteria/root probiotic. I’m starting too see a lot more of these abrasions on some of the bigger fan leaves. It almost looks like thrip damage but I’m 100% sure it’s not a pest above ground. It could be bulb mites, which I found in my worm castings but I can’t check until the roots are more established in their pots. The leaves themselves are cold and feel damp to the touch. I haven’t even seen a fungus gnat since I last fed. I’m hoping it’s related to the K excess and clears up with the troubleshooting. (Day 41) Just ordered a wire cube rack to prop my plants up with and help evaporation/root warmth. Each cube is 11.8”x11.8”x11.8” and it comes with 16 cubes. So it will fit just perfectly in my 4x4. Depending on the size, I might order another one for the flower room where I would need 25 cubes.

Oh man, she hit that supersoil and fucking took off! I went up to my cottage for the forth of July weekend, and she had just exploded into flower. Gave her a good watering when I got home with recharge, the video is a 3 hour timelapse after her watering!

Still doing their thing drinking a lot of water these days probably need root pruning soon.

she grew up very well in her last week fel process of vegetation to flowering ... it measures 120 cm ... I am happy for her ... she has only fed herself with tap water ... and hope that she gives us something good in the future outdoor ....

Weathers been great, a little cold in the mornings, but sunny and 25c every day. Flowering looking great, close to week 5. All the LST done, now to just sit back and wait. Heavy top dress of compost mixed with 70/30 Gaia Green PB/AP (20Tbsp). Weekly spray of BT/Lactobacillus/Epsom, occasionally soil drench of Lactobacillus as well, which is 50% molasses (1-2 Tbsp per gallon). Still seeing tons of moth / caterpillar eggs on mesh netting, but the wasps are making short work of them. Nice even (almost) canopy is making for some great uniform flowering. **Bonus last picture** I had an extra GC FF as a "backup", planted same time but early flowered due to root bound 7 gallon I assume, notice all the single bladed fan leaves, stress maybe? Just harvested, looks good, but I'm sure my main plant will be much better.. Early flowering was sure nice.

New week and the queens are going stright into maxprayer after mixing the new Big Bud Powder Tank with EC 1540 & PH 5.77. Lights are at the crowns with around 1000 PPFD and on the second floor around 850-900 PPFD. This week I will shift up the EC to 1650-1700 onto the peak, but lets see if the drink EC 1540 properly 😎😇😅 Edit: After 2.5 days with the new EC and Big Bud, nearly 20ltrs had been consumned by the ladys like a Mai Thai or Pina Colada 😇😋😅 I will now slowly raise the EC to 1700 this week or at least trying to, another topic is a bit of Lightstress used to the Super Zillions queen in order to stop stretch and start trichome and big bud production.

Hey guys back with the update, everything is going smooth the buds are forming very well. They're all golfball size. Just ordered a microscope so I follow up the trichome development. This is a great strain from a great seed company in Canada, 34 street seeds. I have had great results from germination to harvest with their strains and these Cookies are no different. Nice tight nugs, some great tasting hard hitting smoke 💨 They grew easily enough, no disease or weirdness that couldn’t be solved by proper NPK. This would be a great strain for beginners looking for an easy harvest, with some good bud to show. I definitely did not maximize the potential of this strain this go around, but I still have 2 seeds from the 5 and it will make it back to my garden again. ❤️🇨🇦😎💨

09/21/24 - Purple Punch 👊 & Green Crack 💚 Both these girls got the lollipop 🍭. All the winners stayed 🏆 😂. They got a bump up in the PPM, and we also increased the TPS Signal for the 3gallon dunk to now 3ml. 100% Bloom juice now. Runoffs are in the 6.3-6 4. So they thriving. 09/24/24 - Purple Punch 👊 & Green Crack 💚 Both these girls are drinking heavy, and already starting to see frost on the PP. We have them a top feed of just pH 7.2 water, to hit the 6.4 runoff.

Vamos familia, actualizamos la tercera semana de floración de estas Thunder Banana de Seedstockers, salieron las 3 de 3, 100% ratio éxito. Aplicamos varios productos de Agrobeta, que son increíbles para aportar una buena alimentación a las plantas. Temperatura y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos dentro de la etapa de floración. La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 3 ejemplares seleccioné los 2 mejores para completar el indoor, cambié el fotoperiodo a 12/12 y también apliqué una poda de bajos, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento, las flores están empezando a formarse.
