Plants grew fast. They're ready for going out now but they have to wait 2 more days. I had troubles finding balance between watering and nutrition. I'm waiting for some good soil in two days and I will transplant these girls in their 3g pots outside. I hope they make it two more days in this poor Cocomixture and that they survive a transplant in far richer soil in the sun.

Ich habe auch eine neue Lampe und zwar von Mars Hydro die T600 Ich denke sie müssen sich erst ein wenig an die neue Lampe gewöhnen denn die hat um einiges mehr power als die letzte die ich selber gebaut habe ich glaube deswegen hängen die Blätter ein wenig. Ich habe zwei Blätter da ist eine komische Farbe drauf die man auf den Bildern ersehen kann einmal ein wenig bräunlich und einmal ein wenig braun hat jemand eine Idee was das sein kann. Nächste Woche werde ich die Uhr umstellen und sie in die Blüte schicken.

Purple CousKush Pheno B is definitely becoming one of those plants. Week after week, she has maintained the same quiet elegance that made me like her from the beginning. She isn't trying to dominate the room. She isn't trying to become the tallest. She isn't demanding constant intervention. She's simply growing. And growing beautifully. This week, I'm looking at her and seeing something I really love: consistency. The plant is healthy. The structure is beautiful. The foliage is incredibly lush and deep green. The flowers are developing exactly where I want them to be. And those little developing buds are starting to take on that beautiful golf-ball-like formation, with the flowers becoming increasingly defined along the branches. She is simply... on point. Exactly where she should be. And honestly? She's a delight to grow. 🌸 Week 6 Flower – Right Where She Needs To Be Purple CousKush Pheno B remains around 96 cm, keeping her firmly in the more compact category of the 8×8 Adventure. But by now, I've stopped looking at her height as a limitation. It's simply part of who she is. She's built a compact, balanced architecture and she's using it extremely well. The branches are carrying developing flowers. The bud sites are becoming more pronounced. The structure is filling in. And the entire plant has that beautiful feeling of a flowering plant moving confidently through her cycle. There is no rush. No drama. No obvious need for correction. She's just progressing. And at this point in flowering, that's exactly what I want to see. 💚 That Green... Let's talk about the colour. Because honestly... look at her. That deep, lush green is one of the first things that catches my eye every time I look at this plant. The foliage has that rich, healthy appearance that makes the flowers stand out beautifully against it. And I'm starting to think there's something bigger happening here. Across this 8×8 Adventure, I'm seeing remarkably lush foliage on a lot of these girls. And while genetics obviously play an enormous role — enormous — I'm increasingly convinced that the quality and consistency of the nutrition program are also contributing to what we're seeing. Good genetics give you the potential. Good nutrition helps the plant express that potential. And when the two come together under a stable environment... That's when things get interesting. So this week, I definitely want to give Plagron some extra love. Because I'm genuinely impressed by the overall health and colour we're seeing throughout this run. But let's be very clear: It starts with genetics. Without good genetics, there is only so much a grower can do. You can have the best environment. The best lights. The best nutrition. The best equipment. But you still need a plant with something worth expressing. And these Purple CousKush girls are giving us exactly that. Genetics first. Then cultivation. Then environment. And when those pieces come together... you get plants like this. 🌸 The Buds Are Starting To Look Like Little Golf Balls This is probably my favourite visual change this week. The individual flowering sites are becoming increasingly rounded and substantial. Those little clusters are beginning to look almost like small golf balls forming along the branches. Not finished flowers. Not mature colas yet. But clearly developing structures that are gaining shape and volume. And surrounded by those beautiful white pistils? Absolutely gorgeous. The contrast between the deep green leaves, the developing green flower structures and those bright white hairs is something I could photograph all day. Every week, the flowers become a little more defined. A little more substantial. A little more recognizable. And that's when you start realizing just how quickly flowering is moving. She's building. Quietly... but she's building. ? Those White Hairs The pistils remain beautifully prominent across the flowers. Bright. Fresh. White. And reaching outward from the developing calyxes. They're one of those visual indicators that make the progression of flowering so easy to appreciate when you're documenting the same plant week after week. You look at a photograph from several weeks ago. Then you look at her now. And suddenly you see it. The flowers have changed. The structure has changed. The plant has matured. She's no longer simply starting to flower. She's becoming a flowering plant. And we're getting closer and closer to seeing what this phenotype ultimately wants to become. 🌿 No Need To Touch What Isn't Broken One thing I particularly appreciate about this phenotype is how little she asks from me. The canopy doesn't look like it needs another major intervention. The structure is open enough. The flowers have space. The foliage is healthy. Air can move through the plant. Light can reach the important areas. So I'm not going to manufacture work. There's a temptation in cultivation to always be doing something. Cut this. Move that. Remove another leaf. Adjust something. Change something. But sometimes... the plant is telling you to leave her alone. And I'm listening. She's doing beautifully. So she gets to keep doing beautifully. 💡 Light, Structure & Flower Development The lighting strategy remains consistent, with the Future of Grow Black Series providing the primary overhead light and the Lumiflora system adding light beneath the canopy. The interesting part now isn't whether the plant has light. She does. The interesting part is how she's using the environment we've created. Her compact structure gives her a naturally efficient architecture. The flowering sites are distributed through the plant rather than being buried inside an excessively dense mass. And with the canopy management we've already done earlier in the run, we're now in the phase where I want to let the plant use the space we've created. We're not chasing perfection. We're not trying to expose every flower. We're simply giving her a good environment and allowing her genetics to do the rest. And she's doing exactly that. 💜 Same Genetics. Different Personality. Sat 7/8: - Transplanted a runted Purple Lemonade auto into a small plastic pot (1/2 litre), from 3 gal fabric pot. Put it back in the veg tent where there is more room. It is wasting space in the flowering tent. Suspect over watering early on as issue. - Shifted a Grapefruit auto from the veg tent to the flowering tent to replace the Purple Lemonade. A little early, so it is on a pedestal to reach the canopy. - Planted a Fastberry and a Gorilla Cookie auto. - Harvested 20g wet from the CBD20:1 (8w). Sun 8/8: - Changed light cycle from 18/6 to 20/4. - Fed plants, varying mixture by plant age. CBD20:1 is now only on water at every feed. - Tied main stem down on Grapefruit auto (3w). - Set up endoscope camera to capture the Grapefruit response to LST. - Continued lollipopping Strawberry Pie (5w) and Kosher Cake(4w). Tues 10/8: - both the Gorilla Cookie and the Fastberry seeds popped. I’ve put them under icecream containers in the veg tent so they don’t dry out too quickly. Wed 11/8: - Small targeted watering with no feed. Thurs 12/8: - feed plants that needed to be watered. Sat 14/8: - Harvested the remaining CBD20:1 at 9 weeks, 73g wet - Harvested undersized Lemon Pie at 8 weeks, 26g wet. - Planted a Gelato auto and a Wedding Cheesecake auto from Fast Buds. Week 6 Flower – A Hard Lesson: Bud Rot Quick Recap – From Seed to Here This Lava Cake run started beautifully: • Germination was smooth and fast using the Cannakan with Aptus Regulator and Start Booster. • Veg went strong, with both phenos thriving under the Black Series LED and later joined by ThinkGrow and Lumatek support. • Transplants into 11L fabric pots gave them space to expand, roots looked stunning. • Early flower (weeks 1–4) brought explosive growth, thick white hairs, and dense colas forming under carefully tuned nutrition — Aptus base inputs with Plagron complements. But the same density that made these flowers shine also made them vulnerable. High humidity swings and airflow inconsistencies created the perfect conditions for bud rot (Botrytis cinerea) to sneak in. What Happened This Week Despite our best efforts, phenotype two (Lava Cake #2) showed visible signs of bud rot. To protect the garden, she was harvested early. Infected material was thrown straight into the trash (not compost — spores spread too easily), and the healthy parts are now drying in a separate, controlled space. Phenotype one (Lava Cake #1) remains in the tent. She has minor spots, but overall is swelling and pushing forward. What to Expect / Not to Expect Going Forward • Lava Cake #2: She’s drying now. Expect about 2 weeks of slow, careful drying under controlled temps and humidity. With bud rot, extra caution is needed — we won’t rush, but we’ll also make sure nothing risky makes it through. Expect reduced yield because of the early cut and loss of infected colas, but quality and safety will come first. • Lava Cake #1: She will continue swelling in the tent. Expect daily monitoring, improved airflow, and cautious optimism. If she stays strong, she could still finish beautifully. • The Room: We’ll dial in airflow and humidity management even tighter, keeping CO₂ and temps in check, and prepare the AC unit to avoid these swings in the future. Closing Thoughts Bud rot is a tough enemy, but also one of the most important teachers in growing. It reminds us that environment control is just as vital as genetics or nutrients. Yes, we lost part of this run, but we also gained experience that will make every future run stronger. And sharing this openly might help others spot it sooner, act faster, and maybe even save their crop. Because bud rot was present, we’re being extra careful: • Drying in a separate, controlled space, away from the main room. • Temperature kept around 18–20°C, with humidity 50–55% — steady and stable. • Gentle airflow moving through the room, never directly on the buds. • Daily inspections to ensure no hidden spots continue developing. The goal is a slow 10–14 day dry, preserving as much aroma and quality as possible, while making absolutely sure nothing unhealthy makes it through. With bud rot, safety comes first — anything questionable goes straight to the trash. 👉 Why whole-plant drying? By leaving the plant intact, moisture moves more gradually from stems and inner tissues to the buds. This slows down the drying process, prevents overdrying, and helps preserve delicate terpenes and flavonoids that give Lava Cake her unique flavor. Especially after a bud rot scare, a steady, controlled dry is essential for both safety and quality.

Check out these lovely Lemmosa ladies! 😍 The buds are covered in trichomes, spreading out onto the leaves. I'm growing three, and each one of them has a slightly different smell. They now have a strong odor. They smell like skunky lemon gas. One of them has a fresher lemony gas smell. The buds form tight and dense, and spaced out from each other. The hairs (pistols) have started to change color on the tips of the plant. This is the 5th week into flowering, so it seems early for the colors to change. But, this is the best grow for me, so far. With this being my fourth run. They only needed a few leaves trimmed. I fed them FLOWER as a nutrient tea. The lights are now on 10, the highest setting.

Should probably start my 2 week flush at the end of this week but I want to harvest this plant and my other one(which is 2.5 weeks behind) at the same time so I'm probably going to try and push the feeding another 2 weeks until I start the final flush, trying to have this stay in flower for 10 weeks, the breeder says flowering period takes 8-10 weeks so I think I'll still be just fine. This week went well, the plants are slowly starting to fade and colors are starting to come out. Gonna follow through with my original plan and continue feeding lightly for the next week or two until I start the final flush. I also raised the lights a bit this week mainly to help and give more light to my second plant that stretched so much its main cola is hitting the grow light, and also to help prevent any foxtailing from occurring.

Black Lobster - Cipher Genetics Week 6 Bloom 🌸 The changes in her bulking are becoming less noticeable as the days go on, so this means her bulk phase is coming to an end. She has developed medium sized flower that is completely covered in trichomes, she's incredibly sticky and her gassy blueberry scent lingers on you for a good few minutes after you brush up on her! Her pistils are turning amber and her colouring is becoming more deep green with dark purple tips, the sugar coating of trichomes (she is 100% bred for hash/rosin) makes it look like something from outer space! She's really beautiful! 😍 Temperatures have started to drop now, which is perfect timing for these girls as they all have about 3-4 weeks of scheduled bloom left. ✂️ I've removed her lowest most side stems that were too far behind the canopy, they will only cause problems and use up energy that could go upward. Other than that, she is in great health 👍🏻 💧 Watered every three days with 5L of RO water, nutrients were mixed individually, in order and then finally pH'd to 6.3. I've altered her nutrients to meet her needs for late phase of bloom. 💡 PPFD: ~900 ♒ VPD: 1.46kPa 🌱 Days from seed: 102 🌸 Days in Bloom: 41

This plant was a dream to grow, wish I'd taken cuts. Halfway through dry at 7 days. Drying at 55 - 60 % RH and 17 - 19 degrees C. I anticipate she'll be done between 10 - 14 days total dry time and I'll then trim and update weights on this Harvest. 133.75g total after trim. She's a nice smoke, very happy.
