A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

Defoliated both plants, and did some LST. I removed the tape on the stems, they are healing nicely! Also found some odd grow behaviour on the #1, looks cool tho 😁 29-3 Temps: 19.8 to 22.9 degrees Humidity: 58% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. 30-3 Temps: 19.2 to 22.8 degrees Humidity: 58% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml.

Seems like this was a bubblegum variety strain judging by the smell and structure of the plant. I would recommend it, If I knew what it was.

She grew 17cm this week. Over doubled her height. Lets see what she does in the next couple of weeks. I note she got a LOT bushier. Also her leaves are VERY broad and indica like for such a sativa strain! 😶

Day 7 & 2 of the NHLs still havnt popped, transplanting the one NHL that did pop today! Day 12 think 1 of the orange sherbet have nute burn so flushing it out and dropping the dose a little hopefully that helps!

Week 8 Veg – Go Big or Go Home! 🌱💪 Hey, Grow Fam! 🌿 What an intense week it’s been in the grow room! This was one of those “go big or go home” moments, and I decided to take it to the extreme. I’m holding off on flipping to flower for just one more week because the plants are filling up the space beautifully—I can’t help but push things to their limits and see just how much these ladies can give! 😎✨ This week was all about maximizing growth and creating the best canopy I can. I did a light defoliation, just here and there to open things up a bit, and then came the bending—LOTS of bending. 🌱 I’m working hard to create an even canopy, though with all these different genetics, we’ll see how close I get! 🤞 Regardless, I’m giving it my all, and I’m super pumped to see how everything will respond in the next stage. The final touch this week? I ended it with a bold 36 hours of darkness to prepare for the big flip next week—flower mode, here we come! 🌸 What Went Down This Week: 1. Canopy Work – Bending and training all over the place to try and keep things even. It’s a real challenge with different genetics, but the payoff is going to be worth it! 2. Defoliation – Just a little bit of leaf removal here and there to help with airflow and light penetration, prepping them for that final veg stretch. 3. 36 Hours of Darkness – Closed out the week with a full day and a half of darkness. The 36 hours of darkness is a technique I like to use to help signal to the plants that it’s time to transition from veg to flower. 🌒 By giving them an extended dark period, I’m mimicking the natural shift from summer to fall, when daylight hours start to shorten. This kick-starts the plants’ flowering hormones (phytochrome), helping them shift into flower mode more smoothly and quickly. In my experience, this method helps speed up the flip, reduces early flowering stress, and often leads to a more uniform bloom across the canopy. It’s like giving the plants a little nudge to let them know, “Hey, it’s time to bloom!” 🌸 This technique is especially useful for growers like me who want to maximize the efficiency and performance of their plants. 😊 4. day 49 just pure water phed down. it is day 51, morning before lights on, I might chop today. I use a zero water filter pitcher got off walmart. My humidifier is only a sonic wave. If you use regular tap water it will get gunky in a sonic humidifier. If you have a heat humidifier that boils the water the mist should be clean. These are the 2 types of water humidifiers. Researching best water filters this "zero water" also comes with a free ppm meter! yay! Other water pitcher brands; the water still has ppm. So water misted will still have ppm contamination. You can easily used distilled water only, and reverse osmosis. I just fill a 4gal office water jug with the pitcher and fill my humidifier when needed. I do not use a humidifier in my entire grow up to this point when I chop, I need the perfect rh or this whole effort can fail. growing up to this point only requires 20% effort, chopping now for the 2 weeks dry is this 80% of crucial determination, succeed. A lot of tasks are required today for a clean chop. I feel confident, observed my cross seeds with pink paradise and one with a slightly open caylex looks dark enough for successful germination. I figured 8-16 seeds may be created, 3-4 buds were potentially pollinated. Many growers don't understand when creating genetics with female/female there is a slight chance of herm. You lose 50% of your genetic function. Just water last 2 days, no humic no folvic, 1st time entire grow ha! There is a lot of cleaning to do, remove the trees, clean the entire tent and environment with bleach water, hacksaw. I am very proud of my grow. I have sampled 3 of the strains, dr. thunder legit made my lips numb but it could have just been the terps removing my skin cells from the sticky filter, no lie. This is my best grow to date. I did this for you, and to document hype or not under the best conditions I could give my plants, full max potential, although I wish I had more lights, I am not looking for industrial lol, this is how I grow. Learn a lot on youtube and podcasts there is many good content and I may dab into it. You can have a room full of growers and you have 1 seed in your hand, they will all tell you that their way is correct ;) and the best way. Oreo is stinky AF, Bridal is just amazing glad its massive, just not into sativa but the test seemed slight sativa with majority indica, pink untested, dr, thunder just a lip numming plant aha, its very nice, all 4 amazing appeal like advertised, and excited for next run. Either crosses from this or other copycat genetics. I will give you beautiful glamout shots today, the sizes of the plants, My guesstimate bridal 1lb, thunder 1lb, pink, 0.4lb, bridal 0.5, I am ambitious off 640w lm301h, and 4x 20w blurples daisy chained. day 51 4 chopped see you in a few weeks :D
