Apr 09: Things are chuggin along, i think light may have been a factor in the brown spots, seeing similar symptoms on one of the other plants but very very minor in comparison.... I think it was too little calmag, i may have locked them out mid veg by using high concentration of nutes without watering till runoff (i now know, that is a no-go), and light stress. i have had them under 850-1050 ppfd when flipped to flower... one of them is loving the light, one is big and bushy (had to defoliate later than i wanted), and one has good bud structure but pistils seem thin, and growth seems slower (the one with the brown polkadot party on its body) so thinking it may be stunted. either way, im seeing denser buds, and im learning the ropes, thats enough for me :) Apr 12: Last feed day... Trichomes look just about ready, will do 2 runoff waterings 48hrs apart, then 24-36 hr darkness... Will try to post trichome pics.... Super excited to see the improvements from this run vs last run...!

Added a second LED having some temperature issues. Changed my set up that brings in cool air, getting close to where I want it.

She’s the biggest out of all plants! She started a day earlier than the other fastbud plants but is growing twice as fast too! Seriously a beast! 💯 looking forward to seeing what she blooms like!

Day 8 - First official day of veg and both ladies are right on time for a small adjustment in lighting, PH and nutrients. 10ml of Hydro A & Hydro B were added to both buckets (10L of water in each bucket) and the Milwaukee PH controller was set to work. Starting at a PH of around 7.8, it slowly worked down to a perfect 6.0 over about 50minutes. The lights were readjusted to be 60cm from the seedlings who are all between 8-10cm tall and the intensity of the lights increased to about 70% brightness. Day 9 - Cheech is taking nicely to the adjustment in light and nutrients, but CG 1 is looking a little bit too perky. Going to give her 24 hours to adjust. Day 10 - We have finally renamed CG 1. Fellow enthusiasts, meet Venezia. Day 12 - The root systems are clearly visible in the ladies today Day 13 - The ladies are looking well today. Venezia seems to be showing some light signs of heat stress with slight curling of the leaves. The lights are due to be adjusted tomorrow to account for the seedlings growth over the last week.

10.02 • watered all plants with 0.8L 12.02 • watered all plants with 0.8L 14.02 • watered all plants with 1L 14.02 • i flushed the yellowing Black Domina with clear water with EC of 0.8 and checked the EC of the drain, it was 1.8...so i assume EC in the pot was like 2+, perhaps it was too high and nutrients had a lockout....PH was perfect (6.8)....perhaps the cause of yellowing was a lockout or N deficency...i have no clue... 16.02 • 3 of 5 White Ice are turning red/brownish...must be their genetics...

December 20, Day 106 This week is a big challenge week. Nutrients are changing. Strawberry Gorilla: Day 5 Drying Gorilla Cookies: Number 1 is nearly ready for flush. I added plain water to the reservoir today. I want to start clearing out the soil of all of its nutrients. This is living soil, but ice been spending the last 3 months adding bottled nutrients. I'll most likely keep plain water for the week and then I'll use Flawless Finish. For now it's just plain water. Her buds are really starting to look great. The pistils are starting to shrivel up and the aroma is getting super strong. She's still shedding leaves. None today, but I haven't really inspected her much. Not much to inspect to be honest. She looks great and is just packing on weight now. Number 2 is being moved to Overdrive today. Big Bud has been removed. Overdrive will be used for the next two weeks. Then flush. Her colas are huge and dense. There's a couple tops that look to be well over a foot long. However, those tops are too close to the light. So I'm sure they will foxtail on me. As long as the rest of the plant doesn't foxtail, I'll be very happy. It really doesn't look like I'll see any foxtails, but you never know. She got a full top feed with Overdrive and Recharge. Reservoir refill as well. It was indeed empty this morning. She is still a super thirsty girl. I'm still unsure about defoliating at the end of flower. I've been getting a lot of "don't do that's". I'll keep the question open until it's time for me to defoliate if I do at all. Maybe I'll defoliate just a couple days before harvest. I'm definitely taking all the fan leaves off before harvest. I just have to wait for the reservoir to dry out and the soil to dry out some. Number 2 is her beastly self as ever. Nothing really to report today. Great cola production, smell is getting stronger and her water intake is as strong as ever. She hasn't touched the reservoir yet. It seems like an every other watering, the reservoir is completely left alone. She's already down to 22% moisture level. It's crazy how thirsty she is. Maybe a little less. Gorilla Cookies: Number 1 looks like she's almost ready to go. Flushing has commenced. I removed the wick system and emptied the reservoir. Now it's top feed Flawless Finish for the next week or two. I got some trichome pics with my new microscope. My photography sucks, so the majority are blurry. I'll post the good ones. Number 2 needed a top feed today. The reservoir is just under half full now. Around 1.5 gallons every other day. It feels more like a gallon a day. She's still super thirsty. The buds are getting pretty dense and heavy now. A couple branches are starting to get weighed down. One of them will absolutely need support. The others should be fine. At this point in the grow, it's really a matter of watering and clearing out the dead leaves. Not much else to do except stare in awe of the masterpiece of a tree I have created. She has amber trichomes, lots of cloudy and just a few clear. She will be ready in about 7 or so days. She looks great! More weight gain. Especially in the lower buds of the canopy. I'd also like to note how vibrant her pistils are. Such a bright orange with the light they look like they are glowing. Number 2 is insanely thirsty. She needed another gallon of water and a full reservoir refill. So she is definitely drinking a gallon of water now. There was a bit of runoff, but not much. Today she was at 20% moisture content. I normally wait for 15% to 18% but today, I really wanted some runoff. The goal is to get both the wick system active and the soil to reset itself with more moisture. That should last a couple days. Other than that, her colas are insanely large now. They are dense and fat. Although, the tallest cola absolutely has light burn. The very top is white and fluffy. Definitely bleached. Now I know what that looks like. However, the rest of the cola looks fantastic. Just the very top is no good. That's ok though. There's plenty to go around. She still has like 4 weeks left. Including the flush stage. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.5° RH: 43.3% VPD: 1.50 kPa December 24, 2023 Strawberry Gorilla: Complete Trimmed and jarred at 41 grams. Gorilla Cookies: Number 1 is doing well. There was quite a bit of runoff yesterday. Well, more than I thought. I think I need to wait for her to really dry out before another flush. She hasn't started fading yet, but I expect it to start in the next week or so. She's still packing on weight from what I can tell. Not much, but the lower branches are starting to lean a tiny bit. I can assume a bit more while she finishes up. Number 2 looks fantastic. Her colas are getting fatter everyday. Also, I'm not seeing any swelling yet. Just growth. She will be needing a top watering tomorrow. The bottom feed system is working, but not as well as I'd like. Other than that. Not much going on today. Just trimming Strawberry Gorilla 1. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.5° RH: 45.8% VPD: 1.44 kPa December 25, 2023 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 1 Curing Gorilla Cookies: Number 1 got a full gallon top flush. Not much runoff as I expected. I'll wait a good 3 to 4 days before I flush again. She doesn't seem to be ready for the fade yet, but her leaves are starting to lighten up a bit in some places. I expect her to start fading in a few days. She has a good week left so there should be some really pretty colors before the end. Also, her buds are definitely getting heavier. I have a couple more branches that are starting to sag a bit from the weight. Number 2 got a full top feed today. No reservoir though. That's more than half full. Her colas are getting huge. Every single one is super dense and identically shaped. They are all around the same size as well with the exception of a few larger ones in the back. The largest will definitely suffer light burn for the rest of the grow. However, it's still getting super fat. I'll just cut the bleached parts off when I harvest. Still a super nice cola. I'm wondering if I should have kept up with the Big Bud for another week. But I believe Overdrive is for the bulking stage and not Big Bud. So maybe I did it right. Who knows. Lol. Well, the plant knows. Anyway, she has a great smell and I couldn't be happier with her progress. The lowest parts of the plant are pretty underdeveloped. Those will most likely just go in the trim. Or I'll grind it up untrimmed and keep the kief. We shall see. Maybe I'll stick it all in a separate jar and smoke that while the rest is curing. 🤔 I also need to mention the one cola who is suffering light burn and crazy bleaching. It's only that one, but it's still pretty bad. A lesson for me as well as what it looks like for future reference. I wonder if that one cola will cause any issues for the rest of the plant. It might be too late for Gorilla Cookies 1, but The Beast has plenty of time left to bulk up and pack on weight. Strawberry Gorilla: Day 2 Curing My hydrometers are all wrong I think. None of them have the same reading, and I have no idea which one is the correct reading. They are actually pretty far apart in the humidity. 10% swings. Almost 20% in one case. It's ridiculous. And they all came from the same packaging. Shame. I just need to guess now. Great. Anyway, I'm working on it. I'll figure out which one is the most accurate and base use that for a basis. And I'll use the reading from the other ones to set a basis for them. Gorilla Cookies: Number 1 is looking good. She's hanging out finishing up. No water needed. Her lower buds are really putting on weight. Unfortunately, I wasn't paying attention and accidentally bents some branches with my leg. Some buds got popped off and a single branch broke. She doesn't seem to be affected by it, but I'll keep an eye. Honestly, there's nothing I can really do now. She's in the home stretch. She could even be harvested in the next couple days. But I'll hold off for the next week or so, maybe less. Number 2 is the same deal. Looking great, packing on weight and being her beastly self as always. She needs no water today and nothing else. Tomorrow she will be getting a dose of recharge and I think it will be the last dose for her in this run. She has about a week and a half left of bloom before the maturing stage starts I think. @ 1.4 kPa Stretch is over I am removing leaves on bottom of plants and also removing any buds that aren't receiving light. I am always removing a few everyday instead of removing all at once to prevent stress. Also adding grow fertilizer for a while as I have feeling the leaves lost a bit color.

SATURDAY 8/11: It's late Friday night..early Saturday morning..might as well start week 8! All systems are 'GO', and it's looking like I'm about 10-14 days away from starting the flush on WW#1 and maybe EM#1. I'm salivating 😍 I just gotta get these temperatures down a bit more.. SUNDAY 8/12: Yesterday I ordered a couple of 15.0 UVB 26w CFL bulbs to suspend over the girls that are the closest to finished..try to get them to ooze some more THC for me. Today I started germinating 7 more White White Autos from CKS and 4 more Candy Cane Autos from CKS. They will also be planted in 5gal fabric pots. They will be grown in the veg tent and moved into the main tent as space becomes available. The current crop will be harvested in waves, so I'll just employ stools for the new arrivals until everybody's been harvested from the current crop and I can lower the light again. MONDAY: I'm really starting to see the effects of the heat stress from this past week. So many dead or dying leaves. Temperatures are staying below 90 at the canopy and closer to 80 at the floor during the day..varying between 83 and 87 for most of the day and climbing to about 89 by sunset. It drops to 78-80 for 5 hours of nighttime. That's a shitload better than the mid to high 90's of last week, but the damage, I'm afraid, has been done.😢 EM#1 and WW#1 aren't gonna have enough vegetation left to do much else and I want to trim away the necrotic shit before it reaches the sugary stuff. There might be enough lower leaves left alive that I can just harvest the main colas and let the lower regions be for another week of swelling and flushing, but if not, they will get one more dose of tiger bloom and cha ching in 2 days, then two days later I will flush them really well and trim off all the dead shit. Let them dry for another day or two and flush them one more time really well and put them in the dark for a day before harvesting. EM#2 still has a good bit of green in her big fan leaves and will probably perk up and show me some more bud development.🙏 EM#3 hates anything above 85 degrees, so I'll probably never make her happy..😟 WW#2 and EM#4 don't seem to have been bothered by the heat near as much.👍 CC#1 and CC#2 don't like the heat at all..but they are killer dwarves and will pull through just fine.👌 I mixed up 7 gallons of ph'd water with calmag, bud candy, big bloom (no nitrogen), and a very heavy dose of boomerang and douched everybody really well. TUESDAY: The crispy girls got a big haircut today. I cut away most of the necrotic stuff on EM#1, EM#2, and WW#1. Buds should stay pretty for another few days...and wow are they pretty! The 3 plants still have enough foliage that I've decided to let them bask under the UVB lights for a day or two between flushes...see if I can't get them to ooze a little more of the good stuff. I moved them into the areas in the garden with less PAR..mainly 660nm reds and the UVBs. I also raised the lights about 2 inches. Pretty sure that EM#4 and WW#2 are within a week of finishing as well. So far, I have 3 new WW and 2 new CC sprouts planted. One WW has emerged thus far. She shall be called "WW#3" unless she earns a nickname. New photos and video clips were taken today. WEDNESDAY: I had a 100% germination success rate with the 7 new WW's and 4 new CC's! They all got planted today, but I ran out of soil (still waiting on Amazon shipment) so I had to plant several of them in smaller pots and will have to transplant them to 5 gal pots when the Happy Frog and Coco Loco arrives. They are in the veg tent for now, but it looks like I'll have plenty of room for them all in the big tent within a week or two. WW#1 and EM#1 got flushed with 6 gallons of ph'd spring water today and will have another day/night to bask in the UVB and deep red lights, then I'll put them in the dark for another day before lovingly hacking them to bits. 😜 EM#2 isn't quite ready yet..various up-close looks at her 14" cola told me that she still has time..probably only about 20-30% cloudy trichromes now, so more Cha Ching for her tomorrow! EM#4 is in a hurry to finish..betting tomorrow will be her last nutrient dose. EM#3 is a slow-poke..maybe two more weeks or more to fully fatten her up. CC#1 is gonna be a quick one for sure..maybe another week or 10 days at most. CC#2 might be 2 more weeks. THURSDAY: Mixed up a 2 gallon batch of early flowering nutes for the CC's and Bush Bitch, 2.5 gallons of late flowering nutes for WW#2, EM#4.. and I decided that EM#2 just isn't ready yet, so she got late flowering nutes as well. The pots on WW#1 and EM#1 were still very heavy, so they were allowed to soak up the reds and UV's for another day to hopefully dry out a little more. FRIDAY: WW#1 and EM#1 are still hoping for a reprieve from the Governor, but it's not looking good for them...their sentences are set to be carried out at dawn. Last night they were stripped down and taken into lights-out solitary confinement to await their execution. They were given no last meal and when asked if they had any final requests, they asked only that they be cremated in a series of small fires spanning a couple of months. 😏

What a fantastic week. Very impressed with the progress of the ladies. Still no nutes added to the Plagron soil mix, will probably start them on a light dosage of the Top Crop auto feed in the next few days if they look like they're calling for it. Wedding Cheesecake particularly vigorous. Amazingly, one of the Orange sherbert is popping pistils and all four smell surprisingly strongly of orange sweets at only 14 days old!! Can't wait for the next week.
