🌱 Nectar Drip Update Week 8 from Seed · Week 2 Flower (12/12 from seed) Quick recap for anyone joining us now: This run is a 12/12 from seed experiment, meaning each plant chose on its own when to enter flower. Because of that, flower timing is not perfectly synchronized — and that’s an important part of this grow and of the decisions we’re making. We’re working with an exclusive collaborative genetic pack, not commercially available anymore, bred for stability, vigor, and resilience. What you see here is a real-world expression of those genetics, grown without chasing trends or hype — just observation, patience, and consistency. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding (Why We Changed Nothing) This week, we deliberately changed nothing. • Day temperature: ~28 °C • Relative Humidity: ~65% • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • Plant height: ~40 cm to ~80 cm • Lighting: LED Many growers would say these temperatures are “too high for flower,” but context matters. Under LED lighting, leaf surface temperature typically runs 2–4 °C cooler than room temperature. Because of that, we focus on leaf VPD, not room VPD. The plant is what matters — not the number on the wall. We are not chasing numbers. We are paying attention to them. The plants are responding perfectly: • Lush, deep green foliage • No signs of stress • Strong internodal structure • Uniform uptake across different phenotypes When the plant is happy, stability beats adjustment. That’s why the nutrient recipe stayed exactly the same. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — Why This Week, Why This Way This week marked an important decision. Normally, defoliation would happen around day 21 of flower. But in a 12/12-from-seed run, there is no universal day 21. Each plant entered flower on its own schedule. The room was getting dense. Airflow was being restricted. Light penetration was becoming uneven. So we listened to the plants — not the calendar. We opened the canopy, improved airflow, and allowed the plants to: • Breathe better • Receive more uniform light • Push growth upward instead of inward We’ll be honest: 👉 We went harder than planned. But it was a conscious decision, not an emotional one. Leaves removed were healthy — not sick — which tells us the plant had energy to spare. The remaining structure is strong, clean, and well-shaped. ⸻ 🛠️ Training & Recovery • Structural branches previously damaged were taped last week • All repaired nodes bounced back perfectly • Plastic clips are still being used dynamically — on and off — to guide shape, not force it This tells us everything we need to know about the genetics: stable, resilient, forgiving, and strong. ⸻ 🔮 What We Expect Next After a hard defoliation, plants tell the truth quickly. 09 October 2018 - Day 106 Crystal was trimmed and nugs left for a week to fill out. 10 October 2018 - Day 107 pH good 11 October - 2018 - Day 108 Kolas are dense and thick 12 October 2018 - Day 109 Removed from Tent and hung. 13 October 2018 - Day 110 Drying nicely , Humidifier added . 14 October 2018 - Day 111 Further trimmed and added to discs for overall ventilation 15 October 2018 Day 112 Rotating Tiers to make sure we dry evenly

She's turning out pretty nicely, alot of colas .. they might be small but they are enough for me... plants are starting to smell strong.

Day 57 - The girls are bursting with flower....... looked abit light (the main tops looked a light green, showed signs of nutrient deficiencies), so upped the Dutch Master Gold One Flower, it's 1000 ppm now.... thinking about Defoliation... outside temperatures are middle of winter, 0oC to 20oC (32oF to 70oF) .... but typical high low is 5-15oC (40-60oF)......... surprisingly the LED's warm the tent upto 20-24oC, this is important point.... i am running the lights, 6 pm to 6 am... 12hrs lights on all night, and all day is night mode...... during the day is the highest temps of the day... and during the lowest temps, they have the light heat ....... Day 61 - I trimmed em .... this was the third defoliation..... things are starting to get sticky..... ah i'm just going to wing it.... they are 2 months (8 wks) from seed.... idk what i'm doing....... i did some serious stress bending today, and had to put afew tie downs in..... my theory is to hurt em as much as i can without killin em.... to make em harder, stronger, faster, more stressed, so they can survive anything..... grow em stronger...... the smell is zero in the home, but once i got them out for their 2 week haircut, they started producing some strong wet kisses, that were sticky and wet.... the aroma of heavenly ladies was abundant...... 😎😎 idk... this tastes so good.... it's like some kind of weird berry combo goodness.... i'm vaping vanilla custard atm and this is so good with vanilla custard.... vanilla custard kush n cookies... haha watch the video......... 😎

Week 11-12 going good alot of Leaf growth had to trim to prevent mold ..looking

D76 - 14 DECEMBER Well, unfortunately once again I had mold problems. Had to chop her early so I´ll trim and hang her to dry today. D90 - 28 DECEMBER Exactly 2 weeks later and the buds are all nice and dry, everything put to cure now with Boveda 58% humidity control packs. The medium-tiny and very tiny buds weighed at 15.1 grams and the medium to big sized nugs weighed at 33.2 totalizing at 48.3 grams. I´m happy with the result, I thought it would be worse. Let´s see how she goes into curing now! 29 JANUARY Finally, after a proper 30 days cure I´ll be doing the strain review. Thank you so much for taking some time to check my diary out. All 18 CANNALOPE HAZE plants from DNA-GENETICS continued thru week 6 to develop their BEAUTIFUL flower crowns. The plants on the right under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED-Lamps from SANlight are in general a little more uniform (all have almost the same height). The plants on the left side under the Lumatek PRO 600W are developing well, but some are smaller and some are taller. The production of flower seems to be on PAR now between the two sides, but thats hard to judge only by looking at them. In the end the weight will tell, who produced more flower. 😃 I still give only PURE tab-water, without any PH correction, since the BIOTABS nutrients are adjusting the ph-value and work for the FULL-CYCLE, its unbelievably easy and convenient, I LOVE IT! 😎 The Ambient Q240+ from HOMEBOX is now nicely filled by the plants and they continue to grow well. 😁 The Lumatek is still running at 100% at a distance of 50 cm from the top of the plants. The two SANlights at 60 cm distance were so strong (first signs of light bleaching) that I decreased the power by dimming them to 80% during week 6. I am curious to see how the test goes on further...

"Chugging" along this week. Weather is hot, girls are loving the all time drip system. Forgot that my nutes and hot sun dont mix well and created a bad case of algae. Will monitor more often and maybe increase the drip flow

Muy motivado y feliz por la oportunidad de cultivar esta sativa 90% colombiana de la vieja escuela cruzada con una índica afgani, promete producción y potencia... a jugar! Esta temporada tengo varias plantas que comparten parentesco, en el caso de esta cepa comparte genes con otro de mis cultivos "Colombian Gold" otra sativa originaria de la Sierra de Santa Marta. A los dos días de poner la semilla en una servilleta humedecida, ésta germinó, ahora pasa los primeros días de vida a la luz tamizada de una ventana, dentro de un par de días comenzaré con luces eléctricas para todas las plantas, esta temporada voy sin piedad con las luces, he montado dos COBS azules de 450nm para modificar desde el inicio la forma de la planta y hacerla lo más chaparra posible. 3/11 Week 11 a day early due to visitors day 28 of Flower Her buds building and coning as any proud female would like. No signs of any deficiencies and the tips are ok so leaving all nuets as is. Halfway to projected harvest date according to Fast Buds, we believe them. Having some humidity issues due to our funky weather. Humidity running higher than is safe on lights out , 60-70%, so installed one small dehumidifier but getting a larger one today to add to it. That is pretty much it, hope for better pics later!
