Day36, 37, 38: Seems to be growing a set of leaves per day now. Super growth! Stretching to the top. Day39: I had a hiccup with the camera. For some reason it stopped responding at 04:30 in the morning. I only realized it much later. I still don't really know why, but reseating the data ribbon fixed the issue. Day40: After fixing the camera, I decided to take this view again. The Lady is starting to show some nice growth and this view will show it best. If you look carefully, you'll see that her branches are not green, but rather reddish. Definitely related to genetics :) Everything else is within limits. Plus, the leaves look super healthy. Day41: Here you can see the stem colour better.

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. YEEEEEEAAAH BOOOOOI, my fabric pot arrived as i expected so i re-potted my baby about 8pm tonight, i used the same CANNA TERRA PRO Soil as before to fill the fabric pot (Soaked it in water then let to drain) and the transplant went smoothly. A video and photo have been uploaded showing it in its forever pot, and i also installed a proper oscillating fan. 14/09 Checked in on the baby this afternoon and looks like shes handled the re-potting just fine which is great news! Everything else is as per usual so will just throw some update photos on. 15/09 Today I checked in on the baby as usual and everything's looking great, she grew a noticeable difference although that's hard to tell in the photos. I gave her a good watering so the humidity came up to 70% for a short time but that's nothing to worry about. Temperature sat around 22 degrees Celsius all day. Photo's show the top and side views for reference. 16/09 Once again the LSD baby grew a nice amount over the day and is looking stout and healthy. The stem is already hardening off and very thick for its short size so i decided to begin to pull her over using LST as i will need to focus on keeping my plant growing low and across due to the space available in my cupboard. Everything went well during the LST so i have put photos up showing what i have done. Temp and humidity is usual. 17/09 Today after work i decided to finally get the mylar roll out and patch the ends of my cupboard as it was pretty rough with tinfoil. I cut out cardboard walls to shape of the existing ends and then lined the edges with carpet tape. I had someone help hold one side and we just placed it down swiftly flat onto the card. This mostly pulled it tight but its not perfect. Other than that, everything's going as per usual and i've uploaded some update photos 18/09 Nothing much to update today, everything's looking good. The weathers been pretty shit so the humidity is up but thats not a worry right now and summer coming up will eliminate that problem. Have updated a couple of photos, basically the plan is to train the plant along the cupboard as low as possible before tipping. This way i can utilize the short spaced cupboard. 19/09 Updated the photos! Everything's looking good, the temperature that is showing is the evening temperature 'which is affected slightly as the cupboard is in a garage. A little low but will only get better as spring comes in. 20/09

She is very well and is taut and for connoisseurs she betrays a mother with small and rounded leaves. We started with growth fertilizers that we give in small doses together with the rooting agent throughout the vegetative phase. So this lady giant just started the pre flowering strech, but she forgot she is already 6ft tall, WTF ! HAHAHA I went for a heavy lollipopping and defoliation on day 40 in hopes that she would stress and stop stretching since i do not have any more space for her, but as you can see next week, it did not work as planned.... haha stay tuned

Her effect is much more sativa as well. ✔️Pheno 2 : The strawberry taste is much more pronounced. In this phenotype, there is a not at all unpleasant mint aftertaste !! ✔️Pheno 3 : the effect is felt very quickly. In a few seconds, you find yourself in a state of joy. It's very nice !!!!

So the second week started and I start with grow technique and try to bend down the main line to give more light for the lower sights may increase the yield and potency. Definetly try to make several main colas and If it will be necessary I will use some ScrOG method too. I will update the second week in the second part of the week with more photos about how they reacting the start of the LST. After the natural grow style this is definetly more work and care but I really enjoy to make work with her. UPDATE #1: Start to give more nutrients. Enchanced root developers, high dose, vitamins, hormones, everything. Bend down her allday-everyday, like every 4-6 hours. I updated some pictures and videos before the week II second part. This next weeks crucial about the LST, so try to maximize the observation and acting fast if it is neccessary. Even cutted down 1-1 fan leaves because they blocked the light way so I think this will also maximize the reach of the light. Definetly exicting.
