grow room adjustments this week. plants are now more spread out under a total of 5 600w HPS lights. 3 fastbuds plants have an additional 45w LED light. by week 3/4 they will occupy my whole grow space and an additional 3 600w HPS lights will be added. Plants are looking healthy and 10 or so have been topped for the first time on day 8. dinafem cookies are looking very good in structure. will upload pics every day until harvest! thanks for looking. UPDATE day 12 veg, they are looking beautiful better than i expected. there are 36 in 15litre pots now and i cant wait to make my final grow room upgrage next week and for my room to be looking like a forest! im hoping for 2-3kg off these girls and only time will tell. i will keep doing daily updates until harvest

Just another week of 24/0 veg in their new 4in pots. They've hit the stride past clone stage I'd say and are shooting up. They are ready for a leaf stripping and training about now. They're about out of room in the clone spot. They can hit the lights in there though cause they are just 10w shop lights and don't seem to do anything bad, even being right on the bulbs. So 3 rows of strains going vertical in the pics, like Bruce is the three pots on the left, Orange Blossom Middle, and Krishna on the right. Then horizontally three feed lines, so one of each strain is getting each mix. 3 part AN in the front row. Lucas method 1:2 GH micro:bloom in the middle row. Then GH maxibloom only in the back row. Not sure I am seeing any difference yet but they did just get a transplant and are probably doing fine with the leftovers in the coco for now. We'll start to see more of a dif soon in the bigger lights in the Veg space. Or we won't see a difference and everybody is getting maxibloom only, all the time!

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had rain the previous night and intermittently throughout the day. Temperatures were in the low 70's with cloudy skies. Day 2 we had clear skies sunshine. Temperatures were in the low 80's. Day 3 we had partly cloudy skies, low humidity, and temps in the lower 80's. I watered about 1.5 gallons from the hose. Day 4 we had lite showers in the morning, partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 80's the remainder of the day. Day 5 we had showers in the early morning until afternoon. Then it was mostly sunny with high temperature around 79. Day 6 we had lots of sunshine and temperatures in the low 80's. I watered about 2 gallons from the water hose today. Day 7 it was mostly sunny with temperatures reaching 82°. This week was successful. The plants nearly doubled in height. They've weathered all the rain and are thriving.

Today is the last day of week 1 flower. I've been working on raising the ph in the medium of Zorro x Purple Punch 2, she was showing a Calcium Deff in the previous post. She was getting the same feed as the others ph 6.2 but instead of running off around 5.8 like the others she was swinging right down to like 5.2-5.3 so she's been getting a separate feed with neutral ph and her runoff comes out at 6.2 now which I'm happy with as I move into the second week of flower and where I got them all to with today's feed. She has shown no further defficiciencies since. Other than that they have all been doing what they do best and they have been happy all week, only really disturbed them to feed them, until today. Today I gave them a little training and bent their branches away from each other. Also today I switched their feed up a little but I've not added the changes to this entry because today is one day and the values are for the whole week but the changes today are as follows.... I took out Cellmax Rootbooster - pots are well rooted and I'm leaning towards flower production now as I come into week 2 of flower. I added Cellmax Flower Stimulator at half strength - easing them into flower power mode! I added Cellmax AlgaMax 1ml per litre - The kelp keeps stress levels minimum and I've done a little LST plus the last 2 days have been around 20 celcius which translated to 26 - 30 celcius in my tent. I alternate all watering one with feed and one without so long as they are in good health. Other than that not much to report, growths good, bud formation is on schedule with lots of pistils although they are 9 weeks old so they already had nice lady gardens 🤭 Thanks for looking in One Love💚 Fire Farmer🔥👨‍🌾

So it's the day 9 of flower start of week 2 and she is really starting to stretch!!! I'm trying to only feed her a couple litres at a time to reduce the amount of humidity in there and to make sure she dries out a bit more regularly...so far it's staying around 45% which is pretty damn good 😁👊 So day 13 of flower 31/08/21 and she is FLYING! even after the heavy defoliation!! I've still got about 9 days of upward growth to go she's staying quite squat though perhaps because she's 60% indica or maybe I should have vegged a week or 2 longer.. first grow live and learn lol Last feed she had was Monday 29/08 and she drank 4L of full dose nutes and so far so good no burn 😁🔥stays at 2ml per litre of bloom feed for another week and I also picked up some "Rezin" to stimulate trichome production that will be going in next time More pictures to follow next week! Plant fuckin enormous especially if you look back at how it started. Node spacing is pretty wide and it's not a leafy plant BC the fan leaves are literally there on each bud site, light penetration clearly isn't an issue just gotta feed this amazon and pray at this point. She also smells like lemons

trimmed back some large fan leaves to let every bud get some sun pulled off some sucker growth below the net looking good, starting to get stronger smelling

I like to take CBD especially in the form of oil but we thought of growing some CBD autoflowering both for medical use, for cooking etc. and to send to the most anticipated contest of the year in terms of autoflowering, the annual Barcelona autoflower world cup. Our Green Cure F1 Hybrid Automatic seems to be just right for us, let's see if it throws fire. Growing projects for autoflowering plants ----- As for autoflowering plants I really love preserving the Main Cola. So I will try to make the plants grow well or badly without affecting the main cola. Nowadays topping autoflowering plants is very accepted but it is not my favorite thing to transform a baby born to finish in 10 weeks into a baby that finishes in 14, I say at this point I do photoperiodic. But in times of people who only grow autoflowering everything is permitted for goodness sake if you want to do it, do it I won't be the one to stop you. Also because the results are excellent nothing to really discuss about anything except time. All this to tell us that I recommend for example fimming on plants that tend to grow tall to give power to the lateral branches, LST as much as you want, I don't like too much spread out I need space. HST and splitting are with experience. These are my tips not the absolute truth please do not mistake me for a great wise holder of the truth I speak as I see it. The first week went only with Power Roots 1 Ml/l and Pure Zym 1 ml/l from now on we will start with ALga Grow. The plants were transplanted shortly after germination because the biodegradable pots were very small. The soil is Plagron Pro Mix 100% organic renewed with 30% new soil and 20% Perlite added. She suffered with under watering practices and heat stress no doubt but seems to be stabilising with no further deterioration. Double Kush Cake Feminized is come to the end of her growth spurt reaching 60cm her gaps aren’t filled and won’t likely be filled with due to the stress she was under! From now until the end the lady will be fed sparingly every five days with 1500ml of nutrients and npk

Day 144 23/09/24 Monday (Start of week) De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag today. Seeing her starting to really take shape now, buds forming well, trichomes now flooding in. She's looking good 😍 Day 146 25/09/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron PK13-14. (Note to self/ I am loving the Scrog method for fems 😍💚) Day 148 27/09/24 Friday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today.
