The buds are getting bigger everyday and are spread very nicely. This strain is growing very well so far and should be great smoke

Day 43. so main change, i lost my mobile and i had really loads of photos and videos of ex grows. i blacklisted it, but still... from now i will reduce amount of post and updates, it is stupid, but i cant risk ... Girls all week on diet, looks like only one Gorilla is starving a bit and would need more, but in my plans last watering with molases this time only. They already had runs with silica only. cal mag only x2. Think worm castings was an isue, control garden grows really fine, will be my smallest plants ever, they will have 3 weeks in total for veg. Happy growing and dont loose your mobiles, huge pain .... Day 48. Gorillas are really nice and i cant denny it, but .... Cookies are worst experience ever... They just dont want to grow and show up new issue the second you fight one.... I even made control garden with more than years old beans of Incredible Bulk and bagseed Strawberry Cough. Both strains grow ok, but not Cookie !!! Thats honestly wrong genetics, unless someone prove me wrong, open for your advices ... Hard training again, still on pure water diet with calmag or silica or molases as small bonus while no feed for two weeks + .... Lights are out because training took longer than i wanted. ... Next week they go to 24 hours darkness and light is changed to 12/12. That was last week of really hard training, now i will wait for green mass of leaves to cover stems and hope they will make some buds ;)) Choose your beans wisier than me ... Happy growing !!!

Finally it's harvest time! I really can't wait for this strain to finish drying...it smells so delicious... Gave them only water with some clean fruits which is basicly humic acid for 10 days not because of some 'washing' just because i want to reuse some of the earth to keep some of the established beneficial bacteria and want it drained of most fertilizer Actually i don't believe in 'washing' ...i don't wash my garden tomatoes too...neither did i with my outdoor cannabis plants that grew in the ground and i found no evidence of any difference in harshness or taste Next week some update with final weight and of course a smoke report

This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!

Day 39 flower!! Not a whole lot to report, just watering every 2-3 days ph 6.5 tap water Top dressed with gaia green bloom 284 with about 2 tablespoons per gallon and then about 2 cups of worm castings. I didnt use All purpose this time around as Im trying to taper off the nitrogen. Hopefully that doesnt come back to bite me Hopefully the girls are done come May is what im hoping for

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. The buds are early in flower but still stretching. Thick white stigmas popping out of all the bud sites. And there's a beautiful purple color that's beginning to show on the early sugar leaves. I defoliated only a couple of the largest fan leaves off the main stem. The were bigger than my hand and blocking nearly all the lower sites, so I felt it was beneficial. The spacing has been good on all the branches and I haven't needed to remove any other foliage besides the big boys. I did also remove the absolute lowest budsites because at this point there wasn't any chance they would ammount to anything

Despite so hot outside flowers are doing okey , I over watered for 2/3 days so I took out the flowers out the tent for 6/8 hours to allow better ventilation .

This one is foxtailing hard lol. I think it's ready like the malana bomb as there is some amber on the calyxs. Should be cutting boxing day. Smells sweet as the name suggests looking forward to taste.

She has been doing better then her sister ... pH issue as usual and over watering too , my tent is bigger and I've got the temperature dialed in was at 55 lows and 65 highs for a week which hurt the whole garden a lot .. glad things are better and once it's healthy next week hopefully I'll flip her over to flower and get this show moving along quicker .. thanks for stopping in canna family .. cheers

Day 20 - Transplant into her 38L airpot with GrowCaps!! I used 3x packets (I wish I'd asked for more) and mixed it with the coco. I also made a FIM cut. Day 21 - After a few hours in her new pot.

Day 63 Flowering : I think I am in the final days with this beautiful, easy to grow , fun to train and potent smelling Queen. She has been really responsive to her training and stayed put once flowering began. Her bud structure has been excellent to fit into my environment too. Node spacing was nice and tight so no long gaps between the growth. I did run into a bud rot issue that was resolved quickly and not shown up again with the Rh at 40%. The trichromes are milky and there are some Amber's knocking around too so when the lights go off this evening, I will begin their dark before chop time. Smelling her sweetness and feeling the sticky solid buds has me excited to get a sample of her as soon as she is dried. I cannot wait to see the final , cured result soon. I am looking forward to the next run of this strain in Sweet seeds auto xl version along with Gorilla girl xl and sweet cheese too. Excellent work guys.

03/18/24. Entering week 4 wow. Times flying. Nothing really interesting to update on. #2 is driving me crazy. It seems like she’s always getting upset about something. When I think I figured her out.. she’s like nah, here’s some other strange leaf issues. The other 2 seem perfectly fine. Im thinking now maybe from me cutting back on food before because she seemed over fed-now she’s too hungry. Her leaves seem a bit pale in certain areas now with tiny reddish coloring on edges. Aside from that it seems like she’s still doing her flower thing. All 3 seem frosty and the leaves are sticky and smelly lol. Going to feed #2 a bit heavier than the others for now. Forgot on post earlier to say- Light at 18 above at 75%

Week 8 is starting ! Bella is getting very dark (but wonderful) colors. She is flowering fast ! Gigi is making her flowers bigger and bigger. Patience is the key but I can’t waiiiiit !! Grow ladies ! Grooow ! Quick cleaning was done (dead leaves, 🍁 cutting the small « suckers » so the big flowers get the energy)

11/4 Week 6 Light training to get the buds in light and keep her dry. Watered 11/3 one gal @6.5PH - Fish Sh!t 5ml - Karo syrup 5ml Just keeping an eye on her 11/5 Gorgeous smell coming off her purple buds, reminds me of a taffy shop. Drooling over her Growing well got her into the canopy better. 11/7 Update and bragging! Watering/feeding day today, she loved it! She is turning so pretty! The deep purple looks like fairies stole in the night and are using the little brushes to color her leaves. He hairs stand tall! First strain I have seen with them this tall. The smell is sweet with a warmed fruit smell...for those that bake, closest I can come. Still have some questions as if this is a true Runtz. From her coloring and bud development and her leaf shaping she is a good match.
