Day 78 - Starting week 12 and her final week and man o man she’s gonna be amazing. She’s almost to the percentage of amber trichs that I’m looking for so she’ll be getting the chop this weekend and planning on doing it Sunday, just waiting for her to dry out. Day 79 - She ambered up quite a bit the last 24 hours and she’s almost dried up so will most likely do the chop on Friday. Nice, fat and dense buds and can wait to give this girl a try. What an easy grow this has been. Day 80 - Decided I’m going to give her until Sunday now for the chop. Going out of town for two days and don’t want to rush chopping her tomorrow night. So ended up giving her 2 more gallons of cold plain water and the way she was drinking, she should be ready Sunday evening. Day 82 - She’s actually fattened up quite a bit more the past couple days and on track to chop tomorrow. Heading out of town for the night and she’s pretty much dried up and should be good for an evening chop.

The top buds are still fattening up but slower than last week. In the lower branches there are also many smaller buds that have started growing. I guess the plant is fattening up those as well. The flowering time of this strain is between 9 and 10 weeks, so it still has at least 2 weeks to fully mature. The top buds are looking nice and frosty, and the smell is outstanding! More pics will be added after wednesday. I lost my Sanlight dimmer key and waiting for a new one to arrive. And taking pictures with the growlight at 100% is no bueno 😐 🌿🌿🌿 Mid-week update Allright so my dimmer is replaced and I can take more pictures of this frosty lady ✌️ The trichrome production on this plant is more than I have ever seen sofar. My microscope broke down and I'm waiting on a new one to arrive so I can inspect the trichromes more closely. We're entering the ninth week of blooming so the plant should be ready within 2 weeks.

I cut the plants, remove the remaining fan leafs and hang the plants upside down inside the dark tent for 8 days. After 8 days I trimmed the buds and put them into glass containers with boveda packs. I burped the containers everyday for 10 minutes (first two weeks twice) for about 4-6 weeks.

28 days later....worm poo and coffee grounds not made much difference to colour of leaves, although all are growing nicely...trying some spirulina powder next to see if that helps

Unfortunately, all three are yellowing, showing signs of deficiency already. I'll continue to monitor them for any changes. I think the cause was they were in their peat pellets getting straight water, then when transplanted into their 5g pots which were pre-moistened with straight well water that was ph'd to 6.2 but had zero nutrients. They have now received one feeding and will get another in 2-3 days which I hope will help to bring their color back. 10/10- All three Tropicana Cookies are still not where I'd like them to be. I'll give them another feed tomorrow and see if that helps. They are so small and young at this point that I don't want to feed more often until I know that their roots are developed a bit more. 10/12- Today I fed the girls with a 10min. fill cycle, during which I monitored the moisture level of the medium via a soil hydrometer, then drained the system. 10/14- There goes the first week for the Tropicana Cookies and honestly, it could have been better. With this being my first attempt at 'Hydro' I fully expected to have a few hiccups along the way and this is just one of those that I will learn from and move forward! Fractal was harvested on Sept 12. Due to extended period of high temperatures and humidity with more rain expected every day following another hurricane. The other gals were showing disease. That was the determining factor to chop all outside girls down. Fractal hung in the dark for 2 days. Because her grow family experienced bud rot and wilt, she was examined carefully for any disease. She was disease free. Fractal had a long vegetative phase. Probably too long since I started my outside grow in April so they would be hardened off before I went on vacay in May. Three months of veg caused massive vegetative growth. The various breeder notes on photo period seeds indicate late September or October harvest. So that was in the back of my mind during this grow. 👉 Note for next year start seeds later in spring. 👉 Plan start date based on counting back from the vernal equinox. 👉 Based on such a long growing season, Autos may be preferable to finish quickly and not have extended vegetation phase before flower. La produccion de resina no decae, el futuro es prometedor, cada vez mas cortas las actualizaciones porque este grupo quiere la copa y me deja sin palabras.

The girls are still wanting a good bit of calcium nitrate so I’m keeping it steady, the smell is great and the buds are entering the mid flower stage nicely. Might even be seeing some hints of purple forming in the core of the Queen’s buds. Watching your plants flower is just a good time, show your girls some love today. cheers

Week 12, Day 83 from seed and 3rd day of flower.....The 5 day of this week officially marked the start of the flowering season!! So I flushed both of these bad boys with ph'd water for two days and then today I switched them to 12/12. I gave them their first dose of bloom nutrients and then lollipoped them as you can see, pixs . Grateful no issues to report for the past 3 weeks have been trouble-free!! I'm going to leave the MH bulb in for an additional 2 weeks to prevent any stretching before switching to the HPS. But so far they are still loving their environment. I'm also in the process of keeping clones of fat banana and hulkberry while i try this new strain of Peanut Butter Tree.

day 42: LOTTA leaves, had to defoliate 2-3 times. they started to show their first pistils a couple days before the Ayahuascas, hope I can do a harvest before May,(the Peyotes) but it seems really tricky..unfortunately I need to leave them for a week in April.
