This week I switched over to 12/12 light cycle to begin flower stage. Cycled through a sequence of blue, red, and purple light to develop taller (red) and fuller (blue) foliage, using both (purple) at times as long as I could keep the temp under 79F. Man! once I switched over, they began taking off! Some of the more dominate branches began taking over and blocking the smaller ones in record time. I had to add a couple filler lamps (1 LED & 1 CFL, both white) to even things out a bit. NOTE: reverting back to actual Plant-to-Lamp distance (vs Screen/Net-to-Lamp).

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Week 4: Girls have responded well to nutes. Defoliation started this week. White spots started showing, After research we believe this to be because of our hard water and getting water on the leaves. We also started LST using fishing line, however this did not work so we removed it.

I have to dry the buds in the dark at 20 degrees in 50% humidity 💯

Der Stretch ist jetzt vollständig abgeschlossen und die Pflanzen haben ihre endgültige Höhe erreicht. Die Blütenstände sind inzwischen überall gut sichtbar und fangen an, sich richtig zu entwickeln. Gerade im Vergleich zur letzten Woche wirken die einzelnen Buds schon etwas ausgeprägter. Insgesamt machen die Pflanzen weiterhin einen guten Eindruck. Eine einzelne Blüte wirkt allerdings etwas ausgebleicht, was möglicherweise auf zu hohe Lichtbelastung an dieser Stelle zurückzuführen ist. Das wird weiter beobachtet. Bei einer anderen Pflanze zeigen sich außerdem leichte gelbe Spitzen an einigen Blättern, ansonsten sind aber keine größeren Auffälligkeiten zu erkennen. Durch die mittlerweile sehr offene Struktur nach dem Lollipopping kommt weiterhin viel Licht in die oberen Bereiche. Die Triebe stehen stabil und die Blüten sitzen schön verteilt über das gesamte Zelt. Aktueller Stand: 🌱 Blütewoche: 3 📏 Stretch: abgeschlossen 🌸 Blüten: entwickeln sich sichtbar weiter und beginnen an Größe zuzulegen 💡 Auffälligkeit: eine Blüte etwas heller/ausgebleicht, vermutlich möglicher Lichtstress 🍃 Nährstoffbild: vereinzelt leichte gelbe Blattspitzen, ansonsten unauffällig ✂️ Struktur: Unterbereich weiterhin stark ausgelichtet, Blüten gut verteilt Jetzt geht es hauptsächlich darum, die Pflanzen in Ruhe weiterblühen zu lassen und die Entwicklung der einzelnen Blüten im Auge zu behalten. Die nächsten Wochen dürften vor allem beim Bud-Wachstum interessant werden. Am reinen Gefühl her würde ich davon ausgehen, dass der Ertrag nicht schlecht aussehen sollte. Ist aber rein intuitiv und ich lass mich natürlich überraschen, ob sie mich durch den Winter bringt oder nicht :D

Nach wie vor nahe zu täglich mit knapp 200ml gegossen pro Pflanze. Heute sind mir die leicht nach oben gewölbten Blätter aufgefallen, hab die Lichtstärke um 25% erhöht auf 50%, Abstand blieb bei 25cm (Hersteller Angaben) Letzter Tag der Woche 2, Licht auf 75% und 30cm Abstand

Pretty smooth week. Realizing I should've done a bit more defoliation around trellis level where I've got a lot of little budsites competing for space. Dosidos 1 (purple-er pheno) - beautiful plant with lots of frosty little buds. Nice colors in the pistils this week. CBS - still looks sickly. Gave her a shot of the Neptune's Harvest this week but she looks about the same. Despite her yellowing and mottled spots on the leaves her buds keep filling in. BttF2 - Looking pretty good. She's closer to the light than the other 3 but doesn't seem to have any issues with the extra rays. Dosidos 2 (frostier pheno) - Also looking healthy and dripping with trichomes. Accidentally got a little resin on my hand and it smelled like Sweet Tarts.

Didn’t do much this week except watch them get wider and greener. Oh I did snatch up a great deal at a second hand store and got myself a little green house for shelter in bad weather. Still no idea who’s male and who’s female. Will there even be any signs before I flip them in the tent? I’m a total novice with photoperiods. One big learning this week though: Indoor need less nutes than outdoor. Marshall (the Purple#1 I’m keeping under FC1500Evo on 18/6 schedule indoors) looked like he might have had a little too much. Flushed with plain pH’d water two days ago and looking much better today. (last 2 pictures)

Holaa, empezaremos este seguimiento desde la 4ªsemana. (ya que lo comencé y no fotografíe desde el principio, servirá para aprender) Son dos esquejes que me regalaron los cuales no estaban identificados. Estamos en invierno en mi país por lo que tengo problemas con la temperatura, ahora cambie mi iluminación led y está aumento la temperatura a 20ºC cuando esta prendida que es algo mas aceptable en comparación a los 16º o máximo 18ºC que se llegaba con el anterior. Ahora falta corregir la temperatura con el led apagado, estoy pensando que haré. Esa será la principal dificultad de este cultivo. Si alguien tiene alguna recomendación será bien recibida!

Helloo, planties are roughtly 3 week into vegetative growth. Into second week our cat snucked into the tent and being the motivated gardener she is, dug out quick one and speedy chille, we put them both back into place gave planties some water, and with time they recovered, speedy chille got most stress, but being photoperiod, recovered slowly aswell, still the shortest and very loved. :) so everythings good Royal kush has the strongest smell of them all, few leafs we defoliated we grind in our hard and smell a deep green canna scent. Northen lights is the leader in hight since begining When planties grew 5 tops we topped them, began doing LST and a bit of defoliation, bended stems away from the lamp and taking off leaf that blocks light reaching tops. The stems hardened and remind me now more of a tree

Tuve improvisar y arriesgar una plaga, con unos guias de sauce que tenia de una poda del jardin, no le logre guiar par a toda la carpa pero me servirara para cosnstrastar los resultados, ya se ven muchos mas tricomas consireblamente.

It was a rough week for the girl. We had bad weather this past week very high humidity and lots of rain. I also dealt with some powdery white mold which I was able to get under control by using baking soda and water and removing lots of leaves. The buds are much more dense and the trichomes are starting to turn milky. Ideally I would have liked to keep this plant in the ground one more week but we have more nasty weather coming so I will be most likely be pulling this girl in the next three days. It has been about 11 days since I have given her any nutrients and she has received a lot of rain water. I pulled some of the lower branch when I found the PWM just in-case and I have those dry right now.

A lot of TLC this week and she has bounced back! 😁Really had to dial in and give her the best environment possible. Flowers started to pop up below the canopy so I’m guessing all the defoliation was successful and she is coming back stronger than ever. Will watch for fox tailing as buds form to see if she is reacting from severe light stress early flowering days. Notes from the week: 9/15: Cut burnt tops off her today. Trimmed a lot of the burnt leaves. 9/19: She has recovered nicely from the light stress/burn. Flower stage does not seem to be affected to much. I have noticed some purple calxys and upper leaves near some tops seem to be fading and showing some purple as well. 😈

day 85. Sorry haven't posted in a while. Things are ok, still defoliated here and there, removed some lower branches from all about a week ago. Bridal party was having some kind of P or K issue, like medium is too hot or some type of minor lockout, or ph issue. I have used BlueSky organics compost tea amendments,and just threw it in a 5 gal bucket of water without a compost tea bag, when the 5 gal is empty I just refill with still the amendments in the bottom breaking down, along with bluesky organics organic booster.

Week 4 of flower. 5.8-6.0 pH 450ppm 65-68 F water temp. 72 F tent temp So… the back two plants aren’t stacking like I had hoped. They may end up being popcorn queens. But they are nice and frosty so a long as they produce decent compact and frosty buds I’ll be happy. The front two are finally bursting into flower. The Mimosa X Orange Punch (front right) is looking good and it smells really unique already. I hope she stacks up some nice buds.
