Hi everyone this week whent ok I have stopped feeding for now because of a high PPM in the soil. I tested the runoff and it was over 1000 ppm . I'm not going to flush it because I will just drown them and that will have no air . They have showed no sign of being burnt and seemed to be pretty happy so just going to feed plain water with 6.5 ph . This is why I normally grow in coco perlite naw because of all of the problems . Don't get me wrong I've been growing in soil for 15 years and I have learnt to get the right recommended soil for cannabis and just feed it ph water. Mixing your own soil just ends in high PPM . Catching up to the Alaskan purple now very bushy have had to tuck and trim quite a few leaves this week by the next morning it’s always twice as full started getting buds this week just the first hairs but right on track the bud blood and igniter work well for helping in transition 2 feeds per week now

🌱 Week 2 — Purple CousKush Auto | Pheno A | The Little Rebel Finds Her Way Every grow has that one plant that keeps you guessing. When Purple CousKush Auto Pheno A first emerged, she immediately stood out from her sisters. Instead of developing the classic central growing tip, her apical meristem seemed confused, almost as if nature had decided to improvise. At first glance I honestly wondered if she had naturally topped herself, if the main shoot had stalled, or if she was simply going to remain a tiny mutant. Rather than intervene, I decided to do what every grower should occasionally do… Nothing. Sometimes the best decision is to step back and allow the plant to tell her own story. A week later, she has done exactly that. The strange beginning has transformed into one of the most interesting phenotypes in the room. Instead of forcing a single dominant leader, she has begun producing multiple vigorous growing tips from the center, creating a naturally compact structure that already looks fuller than expected for her age. She may be smaller than her sisters, but she certainly isn’t weaker. In fact, she seems to have invested her energy into building a sturdy frame with very tight internodal spacing. The stem is becoming thicker every day, side branches are developing evenly, and the new growth is vibrant, healthy, and full of life. Her architecture is completely different from the other Purple CousKush phenotypes, reminding us why growing from seed is always such an adventure. Every individual expresses the genetics in its own unique way. This is exactly why I love documenting these grows. If I had judged her during Week 1, I might have assumed she would never become anything special. Instead, patience has rewarded me with one of the most fascinating little plants in the entire 8×8 Adventure. Sometimes the odd ones simply need a little extra time before revealing their true personality. Environment remains stable inside the tent, with temperature, humidity and VPD staying right where I want them. The Plagron substrate continues to provide an excellent home for healthy root development, while the Zamnesia ecosystem keeps everything running smoothly under consistent lighting and airflow. For now, there is nothing to correct. No stress. No intervention. Just observation. I’ll continue letting her write her own story while I simply provide the conditions she needs to thrive. If Week 2 has taught me anything, it’s this: Not every champion starts with a perfect beginning. Week#7 Day#44 Update: shes looking nice and bushy from the ponytailing. I gave her a half a gallon of water and she drank it right up . I gave it to her day 42 I believe I noticed her leaves droopy. I still have not topped her yet there’s atleast 13 main arms needing to be pinched out currently. I’m still riding the fence with whether I’ll top dress feed her and keep her in this pot for one more month or will I transplant her up and boost the feed proportionately with the increased pot size . Week#7 Day#45 update since I can’t seem to stop riding the fence on the methods I want to use to grow this plant I decided I atleast needed to do a heavy defoliation to expose those growth sites to encourage more branching . I could continue with ponytailing & defoliation for a while I just keep kicking the can around on whether topping will make this healthy vigorous growing plant better . It’s already doing everything I could ever want in terms of lateral growth . Could it stand to be a bit more vigorous on the upwards growth ? Sure , however I’ve still got 3 ladies maturing up in this tent that I need to move out so I’m sort of happy shes not requiring a lot of leg room know what I mean ? I think as the fan leaves grow out I’ll pony tail up each top again . Week#7 Day#46 No changes Week#7 Day#47: started pony tailing her tops as the fan leaves get large enough to pin up I’ll cover as many as possible to let those lower growths get growing . Week#7 Day#48: still pony tailing tops 😁 we’ll make her into a Week#7 Day#49: those new fan leaves neeed to be pony tailed but are also incredibly yellow . I wanted to try putting the dry amendment at the bottom of my planter but for the sake of time I won’t experiment & have wasted a 2 weeks considering I knew last week she “ should be getting hungry “ & it’ll take 1 week of top watering before these dry amendments are available to the plant so she may stay e looking deficient. I gave her 2 heaping tablespoons & watered her in with 1/2 gallon of ph’d water with (organic)cal mag .

Week 6 of flowering 10/23/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 6 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Defoliated a little. Noticed a PH of 4.8 in runoff, same as the late stage of flower in my previous grow. After lowering feed EC, CalMag on max strength, flushing with 0.8ec nutes for 3 days in a row, nothing changed and PH stayed the same. Read in a forum thread about constant low PH in the rootzone when growing in coco. Got great info about CEC, water, nutrients and little chemistry from a detailed explanation. (https://www.icmag.com/threads/recurring-problem-with-low-ph-in-coco.338385/page-2#post-10843765) Flushed plants with tap water + calmag, PH 6.5. Used 120L total for 4 plants in 2 days. 1st day: flushed after lights on, did not water until 2 hours before lights off and flushed again. Runoff PH went up a little, but not to the correct range. 2nd day: flushed after lights on and checked runoff EC + PH, of each plant. Fortunately, PH got corrected to 5.8, and I returned to automatic watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff). Thoughts: In the last grow, I thought I had a problem because of salts buildup in the media with constantly low PH in late flower. I didn't fully correct the problem till chop day. Same problem here in the same stage of flower without the salt buildup. After reading every forum I could find about the problem, I understood that my bloom nutes were the main problem because of their chemical composition. The coco ability to exchange ions lead to the low PH in the rootzone. It got worse quickly because I did not use any tap water with the feedings, so the PH could swing easily and drastically without resistance. After I looked online for the T.A. feeding chart, I saw they used TriPart Grow till week 7 of flower, the Nitrogen type they are using will up the PH. CocoForCannabis chart that I'm using, has not enough nitrogen to combat the bloom nutes PH down effect in flower. It gets even worse with RO water because there are no minerals that can resist PH down. Now I'm using 30% tap water with rest RO water, T.A. TriPart feeding chart with calmag and silica. Hopefully I have corrected the problem for the rest of the grow. It wasn't easy, because there were lots of variables that worsened the problem quickly. Now I'm checking runoff PH and EC daily. Update on next week :)

Getting a very strong Oder from them..almost smells like cat piss 🤣 ..also noticing a pretty purple shade on them too! Hopefully I can harvest in 3-4 weeks, 1 of the plants is over 6 feet tall! this shit looks fire .. 💯✌️🏼

Day 32 ...This girl was too big for her 3gal container so I bought 40 Litre rubber totes to use! Drilled holes around the container and tied a ton of branches to the sides of the container with pipe cleaners. Plant was about 3 inches tall tied down and a 16 inch canopy. Follow as I veg this beast for another 30 days!

New week starts. 🌞29.03 Both 'Gorillas' got their final topping today. 🌞30.03 I tightened my flowers too weak and they've straightened their brunches back. Now I will wait them to become thirsty to make LST again. 'Gorilla's leafs are too thick and curly, they need LST as fast as possible. I'll make it for two days. 'Critical' was healed already and it starts growing again. 'HulkBerry' is a biggest one. 🌞31.03 Clean water spraying. 'Critical' reaches 'Gorilla's size, it's fealing OK. But 'HulkBerry' is huge! It will cover all other plants from sun if I woldn't do nothing with it. So I decided to slow it's grow with HST training. When it become thirsty (this sunday) I'll break its upper brunches (second knot). Then I'll wait it to heal and will break the lowest ones. This should hold it's grow and will give more time to others. I'm really excited to do this, because it will be my first HST. 🌞01.04 Clean water spraying. My girls didn't receive watering for three days now. I'll do LST and defoliation tomorrow, then I'll feed them. I'm planning to do a Supercropping to my 'HulkBerry', specifically two brunches of an upper knot. It's main-lined and healed already, it is four week of vegetation so I decided the time has come. This procedure will slow it's growth and give more light to the lower crone. Upd: I didn't wait for tomorrow and made all trainings today. Supercropping of 'HulkBerry' turns the best, it looks like I've made it well. 'Critical' was topped for the second time (2x2 scheme). All plants got their first defoliation and were pulled by garden wire (LST). Now it's time to water them with their wery first 'GHE' nutrients in a 'first roots' doze. 🌱'RG'#1 - Defoliation + LST; 🌱'HB' - Defoliation + Supercropping + LST; 🌱'CR' - Defoliation + Topping + LST; 🌱''RG'#2 - Defoliation + LST. Upd_2: I took a photo in a 8hrs after all I've done. All girls are turned their leaves up, all looks great. 'HB' is big and hard, as if nothing happend. It's success! I'm happy with how it turned. It was a good day. 🌞02.04 'Critical' is growing too slow. I think this because it lost a half of its crone when I accidantly broke it. And then it had his topping after a few days. Now it is a smaller one. But it already got his final form, and new leaves starts to get bigger visually, so I think it's not a problem and it will take what it should. No procedures today, nor watering. Spraying with water as usual. I think about giving them 'GHE SeaWeed' in a form of a spray. 🌞03.04 I watered my babies with 'GHE' nutrients in minimum concentration and gave them a drop of a 'GHE Diamond Nectar' to try. Next watering will be in a 'First leaves' dose (Gro/Mic/Blo - 1/1/1ml per l. plus 1.5 ml/l of D.nectar). Mb I'm giving nutrients too slow, but I have time and patience and I don't want to overfeed them. Next watering will be on wednesday, the first day of a week. Next time they'll get full 'Vegetation' dose, but one time after one (nutrients-clean water-nutrients). I still remember few times when I overfed my plants. So this time I will be more accurate. I made LST today to all my girls and sprayed them. Also I deleted four biggest leaves from 'RG'#1. 🌞04.04 At the evening (For my plants. It's a morning for me) I defoliated all my girls except 'Critical'. Its because when I removed trays to sit them well - 'CR' pot had more waight in it. So 'Critical' drinks less then others and need bigger crone before I'll make transplantation into the large pots. Defoliation went successfully and they got LST after it. 'RG'#1 has asimetrical look, half of its brunches are smaller. I turned it around cos I think it's temperature fluctuations near the ventilation chanels fault. So here we are in the end of this week: 🌱'RG'#1 - LST, Defoliation; 🌱'HB' - LST, Defoliation; 🌱'CR' - Nothing today; 🌱'RG'#2 - Defoliation. _____________ Week ends.
