Week 4 - Sometimes You Got To Lose To Gain Phase 2 - I took off the fan leaves so that the plant would redirect its energy into the stem and branches rather than the leaves. I also cut of the top heads so that the energy would go into the development of the 2 heads below.

Bad vent and lack of temperature and humidity Control. High temperature because of 600w HPS.

So this one started slow but healthy. She was a sativa that expected much more leg space and warmer humid climate which i fixed later. Needs LsT. I hit it with my concoction to keep her short it worked. Dense nugs especially for sativa hybrid. Not loud but tropical sweet. I needed 11 weeks min for flower could run 12 even though I seeded mine. Tiny sativa seeds like the original ibl bred by jaffa seeds uk and brought to me by Pevseeds. Not bad for under a cheap 120w led quantum and 3 gallon grow bag. I should have went with 5. The roots were amazing dense.

Feb 15th All three plants are doing well They have all been bent over to grow sideways Feb 17th More LST, all is well. Feb 18th Changed out nutrients This week I added 18l of nutes with slightly stronger mix at 75% strength. I will change on next weeks update Feb 21st Plants have used approximately 6 litres since the 18th They are all looking healthy but for some reason they aren’t growing in length that much. They are producing many new branches but the branches are becoming to compacted close together.

Day22: As said in Week3, I will not keep this perspective for the whole grow, as it doesn't really show the size of the plant. But it gives a nice view of how to top leaves grow :) The flashes that you see in the video is the humidifier. It pumps out vapour every hour for 15mins. So basically a quarter of each second of the video will be when the humidifier runs. Day23: I changed it, as I wanted to see the size as well. Day24 - Day28: Happy, healthy growth.

Plants are requiring more and more of a feed to put on development. I tried to slightly lower the N balances but some of the plants showed deficiency. Raised the N back up and deficiency went away. Plants are fed almost daily, no watering in between. pH ranges from 5.7-6.5

First day of week 6, i have to say these ladies are FASTTT! VPD 1.15-1.23 lights on VPD 0.97-1.05 lights off. The 70x70 area is 101% covered although id say 72x72cm because i added some self made growbox wall extenders i have started thinking adding the trellis net now or some days later to tilt the colas alittle just slightly for better light absorbtion for lower buds under the main shoots isnt a bad idea,under canopy view is magazine cover worthy MAN :D as you can see they are on fabric pots above plastic draining pot holders, the runoff is collected downthere and each of the pot holder has a plastic tube glued with water resistant superglue so after every water all the runoff water is collected from a pump with just a push of a button, the irrigation watering system is also connected and works pretty nice i have been giving them the water also by a simple push of a button with irrigation seem to love it (its not a automatic feeder connected to a reservuar i have two waterpumps one for watering one for collecting runoff i simply put the water intake plastic tube in my water bucket & press the button manualy, worth mentioning all of them have been reciving the same nutrient solution and same water although pheno#1 have been streching 4-6cm more than her sisters and she developed abit of blueish leafs even the soil in all 4 pots was from the same 2 soil bags and mixed very well before filling them so soil manifacturer excess nitrogen mistake is also not possible, i feel it is the phenotype but just to make sure there will be no excess nitrogen in the end i watered her with the exact same water amount as her sisters but 260ppm less for her this time just to make sure the blue is gone soon.she will be fine and emerald in few days. From today the UV FROST is ON from now too. Oh i forgot to mention thrueout the diary they where never topped only trained with these red clips besides the pheno3 that came topped "from god" since sprout and i wouldnt recommend topping autos (btw pheno 3 is a monster and smells wayy more LOUDA than the siblings.) although the pheno1 remains the main subject further on she got fuel to shoot for the stars and we rlly dont want that in this compact mini research area dont curse me for the substrate choice :D this stuff translates a bit of that earthy taste to the buds and way less attention than coco.

Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Dont you love when you have a flat canopy with 4 plants. So we are half way threw week 2. Not much to report they definitely aren't stretching much. Wish I let them grow a bit more. They all bounced back after the stripping before rhe flip. Especially the Fasr Buds plant they are thriving which makes me excited to run some of their other photo periods

i thought she was dead long ago because this was a shit year in europe to grow things, tomatoes all died and this lil fella stand strong in between the trees with, sometimes, less than 5°c with rain and wind ^^ now im happy to harvest around 5 grams XD hoping next year will be better a little bit purple, gon chop her down soon.

Cut of some leafs found some bugseggs on the bottom of some, but no infestation so no panic. Still no sunny weather.she is starting to look frosty pink and has a Sweet grapefruit smell. 😙

I was really wishing for the pheno on the seedsman website but I guess I would have to just hunt through many more blueberry seeds to find that one. Overall I enjoyed the grow.

Abandoned outside for 10 weeks Survived 2 heatwaves Only water Impressive

A few of the zed blacks hermed..spreading pollen into the flower tent. Already seeing some seeds develop. It is what it is. I should have done a better job checking on them. I kept the Zed blacks that only had a couple flowers on the bottom but tossed anything that had flowers growing up the majority of the plant. Some of the most famous strains in the world were self pollinated so I don't have issues with a couple male flowers. They're just trying to improve their fitness as nature intended. The plants are doing very well. A few of the bottom leaves are dying which is normal...senecense! Sucking up those nutrients. I've been liquid feeding using the fish, seaweed, humate and recharge. I have saved the males and they are trying to reveg. Still popping out a few flowers which I'm cutting off. 1 rainbow belt. 1 zed black. 3 hash plants The hash plants are smelling incredible. Definitely a few keepers mixed in here. Maybe 3/7. Hopefully the quality of the flower backs it up. Zed blacks have 2/3 I'm interested in. One is very very low yield. Unless its a really high quality plant I'm gonna toss it Rainbow belts are both smelling ridiculous. Super frosty. Good yield. One is slightly more frosted than the other. The zkittles pheno has pure Skittles smell with a little lemon cleaner chem to back it up. Probably my keeper!

This lady has been a joy to grow. She has been so happy and packing on the bud every minute! Only problem I see at the moment is she is getting heavy and she's starting to lean!!
