The journey begins

2025 Fastbuds GreenHouseGrow has come to an end. Its been an absolute roller coaster of a grow. So cool to watch them grow from sprouts to absolute giants around 8ft tall. They're a great and easy strain to grow and I could only imagine having them in bigger pots how much bigger they could get. I ended up harvesting them for fresh frozen and immediately put them into the deep freezer after trimming everything that didn't have trichs on it. Excited to do some bubble wash and make FreshFrozen and drysift Rosin/Hash. All in all highly recommended and Happy Growing.

I am busy all weekend, so I wanted to make sure I got something out of the grow (just in case). I might use a good portion of this harvest for rosin and for when friends ask :) That is if the second plant lasts until next week. I cant ask my wife to keep an eye on water, roots, or bud.

Esta semana, ya recuperadas de la poda apical y Fim les hago la poda de bajos o lollilopping, entutado y Scrog. Es mi primer cultivo y se me han descontrolado las sativas en altura y en cantidad de plantas, pero voy a ver si me apaño y saco Al menos buenas copas... He regado 2 días con fertilizantes con 1.1 de ec y otro con solo agua y enzimas. Hoy comprobé el ec del sustrato midiendo el agua sobrante y algunas plantas me ponían 1.8 ec y otras 2.5 ec... Me aconsejáis que siga regando para que sobre agua por el macetero ? Estoy usando maceteros de 11 litros y estoy regando 500ml, excepto esta última vez que les he echado 1.5 litros y solo les salió del macetero unos 250ml. Soy todo oídos y muchas gracias

We successfully completed week 8 and things are starting to get interesting. The buds have grown significantly in size over the last days and the smell has gotten much stronger. I think I also need a new air filter… The leaves did some coloring in the past week which makes this beauty look even more handsome. I optimized the air intake of my tent this week by replacing my one 100mm tube with two 130mm 3d printed light traps so breathing is much easier now and the vent can run a bit less fast.

👉 This year, RQS launched 5 new regular strains. The seeds are packed with10 pieces. 38 seeds out of 50 turned out beautiful (see my previous diaries). 👉 Before I put the plants into bloom, I took 2 cuttings from each plant. As soon as I knew which were the female plants, I deleted the male plants and the corresponding clones. 👉 Now I am going to raise the cuttings and flower the female plants in 5 new diaries. This diary is about the Exotic Witches # 1, # 2, # 4.

Week 2 of flower is in the books and all 3 girls are looking extremely healthy. Perfect time to start packing on the weight. There are tons if bud sites that will get tons of light due to all the defoliation I've done. I've never defiliated plants this much before and I'm curious to see the difference in bud production below the canopy level. I love trying new things and experimenting with these plants. Always coming up with new ideas on how to do things and making things easier along the way. Can't wait to see how much I'll get off all 3 and see the difference in phenotypes.

🐞 Week 4 Update: LST, A Little Helper, and a Funky Mutation! 🌿 Week Update: Shaping her up! 🐞 Welcome to Week 4! The plant is growing nicely and we are officially starting to shape her up. I had a little ladybug patrolling the coco and hanging out on the leaves always nice to have some natural pest control on duty! But the most interesting thing this week is a strange little leaf mutation on one of the new growths. The Details: Development: She is vegging well and taking to the substrate nicely. The roots must be getting well established because the top growth is really starting to push out. There is a really funky leaf mutation happening on one side (check the close-up pics!) where the leaf looks twisted and almost double-layered. It doesn't seem to be slowing her down though, just a cool genetic quirk! Structure: I started some LST (Low Stress Training) this week! Using some wire ties to gently bend the main stem down and expose those lower nodes to the light. The goal is to keep the canopy nice and even before she gets too tall. She took the bending like a champ and is already turning her top back up towards the light. Health: Overall health is great! The leaves are holding a beautiful deep green, no signs of nutrient burn or deficiencies so far. The ladybug friend 🐞 is a very welcome sight to keep any unwanted pests away from the tent. I'm keeping a close eye on the mutated leaf to see what it does, but otherwise, she's perfectly healthy and happy. Next Steps: I'll continue to adjust the LST ties as she stretches and keep monitoring the moisture levels. I'll probably up the feed slightly next week if she keeps responding this well. Hi everyone 🤗. Everything is going great 👍. There are no defects or anything unusual :-). Today the Blue Cheese Pheno 1 became the first time rinsed, and now only gets 0.4 Ec water for the next 10 days ca :-). Everyone else needs a while. otherwise there is not much to report this week. 2020-07-27 Waited all week to post. Haven't changed nutrient levels at all. The plants are drinking at a normal rate and sit around 700 ppm and 6.0 pH on the regular. They've actually become more much stable, they are starting to get so sticky and smelly already. I can't remove them from the tent anymore to change water so I just put a water pump in there, drain it as much as I can, then flush with tap water, drain that, refill. I think the UC Roots and Great White will keep it healthy. The roots did not get out of hand at all on this grow but the upper plant absolutely did. It's right up to the top of the tent, I keep having to smack it down and bend it down... I have noticed there are pure white tipped buds forming on plant 1. Supposedly this is a good sign: https://www.leafly.com/news/growing/white-tips-on-cannabis-buds I feel like the buds aren't as fat as other people by week 5 of flower but I accidentally have so many growth tips, I think some of the growth is misguided right now. They are thickening up but not as fast as I expected. Looking forward to harvesting in 4-6 weeks!

I did some LST. It is a very open plant i think this is from her sativa haze parents. Also did some defoliation. Her main cola is really stacking up very nice. i hope and think this is going to be a nice huge main cola. You can see the difference in genetics really good compared to my DP plants. Tento týden už jen Winter Frost pět dní a začal jsem na 3 ml na litr a po dnech snižoval až na 1 ml/l..a teď už jen voda.. jinak to vidím určitě ještě týden.. pořád to roste a pěkně prorůstá.. spokojenost 😄

This has been such an incredible learning experience, back in December a friend and I got bored and decided to build a tent with some scraps in my garage and a single CFL in a reptile heat lamp 🤦‍♂️and try and grow the seeds I had been sitting on for a few years. The cfl broke almost immediately and poor little lato spent the first few days of her life in the dark waiting for a cheap led from Amazon. At the beginning of this grow we had no idea what we were doing and honestly no faith we could grow anything but mid bud but it was just abt the experience. Both of us spent most of our days researching and learning about cannabis and organic growing. We ended up deciding on a small company called Dragonfly earth medicine and used their full line of bacteria based nutes/supplements (radiant green, fat flowers, brilliant black, lush roots and natural Mystik) to make teas with worm castings and molasses. I wet trimmed a couple nugs just to see what I prefer seeing as I’ve never done this before. Got everything hung up in her tent with the exhaust fan on the lowest setting. Hopefully everything goes well. I know I started this diary late but thank you guys for all the support if you have any questions or feel like I’m missing anything feel free to reach out.
