Hello GD Crew!!! I’m glad to finally be back with a new diary. A LOT has happened since my last diary. The large room I was using back then got infested with spider mites. For a while I thought I had them beat, but they came back with a vengeance. So I thoroughly cleaned my 2x4 tent and set it up in the opposite side of the house. However, that part of the house is also now my new man cave and was under construction until a few months ago (its still not completely done yet, but close enough). I have also switched back to LED lighting. I’m using a pair of Spider Farmer SF1000’s (100w) LED’s. I was using a 315w CMH fixture but felt I was getting better results with my old blurple ViparSpectra’s (both of which have died). Also, it was getting too hot in the tent with the CMH. To be completely honest the best weed I’ve ever grown was using a 1000w HPS, but that could possible melt a 2x4 tent and I’d be tripping circuit breakers all the time again. After a lot of research it looked like the Spider Farmer SF1000’s were the best bang for the buck in the LED market these days. They have the right components (Samsung LM301B diodes and MeanWell drivers) and have great specs. I was able to purchase them on Amazon Prime Day for $129/each (USD). For soil I’m using Coast of Main Stonington Blend Grower’s Mix. I had been previously trying to amend and reuse old soil or mix old soil 50/50 with new soil and in retrospect that was a mistake. The PH was totally unpredictable as were what nutrients were available or deficient. I felt like I was always trying to fix soil problems and one thing would lead to another. So, from now on its fresh soil in every pot. I’m using 3 gallon pots with self watering reservoirs at the bottom. In addition to the Coast of Main Stonington Blend I’m also using Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. I filled the 3 gallon pots with the Coast of Main Stonington Blend first, then dig out a hole in the middle about the size of a grapefruit and filled that hole with the Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. Then I planted the seeds about knuckle deep in the middle of the Seedling Mix. This seemed to work great, both pots had small seedlings appear in 5 days. This diary will focus primarily on FastBuds BlackBerry, but I am also growing a DinaFem Critical+ Auto at the same time. I’ve grown both of these strains a few times in the past with mixed results. But, I’m hoping this grow will be far greater than those in the past. My plan is to allow the Coast of Main Stonington Blend act as the ‘super soil’ it is supposed to be and not add any additional nutrients. I will however be adding RealGrowers Recharge on a regular basis (I love that stuff, it really makes a difference) and will probably also add some CalMag once in a while. But that’s all. Additionally, I do not plan on doing much training with these girls. I will LST bend them over at a 45 degree angle around the time they hit their flowering stretch, but that’s all. Bending at a 45 degree angle gives better exposure to lower branches and allows those lower branches to produce larger tops. Hoping for the best!!! Please feel free to comment and follow. Sometimes it may be good, sometimes it may be shit. When you don't care for your plants it do be shit. Let this be a lesson for the future and also for those who think growing its just placing a seed in the ground, if you don't care for it, you get weed but not the highest grade. Altho i must say all of the auto's from this round were pretty good at smoking with the exception of one that tasted like a fart in a jar lost in the ocean for a decade, that meanwhile was eaten and shat by a whale, not good, but the others were pretty good, enjoyable to say the least.

Plant is too large for tent. Flowering underway and starting to develop frost on leaves. Not much smell. Lower leaves slowly develop brown edges and wilt/drop off. Slow flowering strain it seems.

Vegetation Phase - Week 5 Week 5 marks a bittersweet milestone. RIP to the Marienkäfer homie — gone but never forgotten. Their watchful eyes and pest-snacking legacy will forever live on in the tent. Meanwhile, the Donutz gang is thriving and about to hit the next big step in their journey: the 7-liter pot upgrade. Updates & Changes: RIP Marienkäfer: Nature giveth and taketh away. The tent feels a little emptier without our little guardian, but pest pressure remains nonexistent thanks to their diligent work. Transplant Time: The plants are moving up to 7L pots this week, giving their roots the room they need to expand and thrive before flipping to bloom. This upgrade will ensure a strong foundation for the explosive growth coming soon. Watering: Still sticking with reverse osmosis (RO) water for maximum control and cleanliness. Plan for Flower Transition: After the transplant, the plants will chill for the rest of the week in their new homes to recover and adjust. Week 6 will cover the flip to flower. With the clean lollipopped structure and solid root development, these plants are set to focus all their energy on producing hefty main colas in the Sea of Green setup. Observations: The Donutz are stacking beautifully, with healthy green leaves and strong stems. The SOG canopy is filling out, and each plant is shaping up to deliver a uniform, productive grow. Next Steps: Monitor the plants closely after transplanting to ensure they adjust smoothly to the 7L pots. Maintain stable environmental conditions to avoid stress during the final veg phase. The eighth week of flowering for the Cherry Cola RF3 is here. The Cherry Cola RF3 has burnt tips, I probably over-fertilized it, so I think I'll just use water for the next few waterings. The Gorilla Z Up is shooting up exceptionally high, forcing me to set the lamp at almost maximum height to avoid causing light/heat burn, which means that the other two below are no longer receiving the optimal PPFD. The Strawberry Gorilla is just starting to flower, so I'm 4 weeks behind with the Strawberry compared to the Cherry Cola. 👽👽👽

Tropicanna Banana is all done. 2 weeks in the jars to cure now. got just over 2 ounce of this plant so not too bad. should be a good daytime smoke.

Welcome to my Sour Strawberry(ies) one was meant to be snipped by now. Instead im going to put both in either end of a very large pot and weave them together in a 50cm2 scrog Veg Days 0-6 0-3 &0-2 Seedling Days a few on smaller pheno. DAYS 9-15 As you can see. Both are in the same pot i cut off my finger badly. So, no hard work is allowed while stitches are in. And uppotting and mixing soil will just be do much work. I'll wait a week but, I will separate them into different pots so they can recover individually making sure each separate needs are met. And once I've a stable balance. I'll put both on either end of a big 50xcm2 pout (bout 30L) Edit Day 15 and 12 Pheno 1 & 2 both in 2x 1.7L pots. FLMING'ed both plants after 20hrs of a rough upppot a lot of stress but, they're pushing through. Pheno 1 &2 i removed 1st sets of nodes and pheno 1 i removed the nodes directly underneath the Flming point. Thanks to my sponsor from Spider-Farmer for the great product. Plants are growing much more of a rapid pace. Its a great light SE5000 im using it at 100% 90% on hot days. And it's great. Day 42-49 (Day 42) Just watered today but couldn’t go until runoff because I didn’t have enough RO. I forgot to add the probiotic too. Nonetheless, everything is starting to recover from those weird deficiencies and is looking super healthy. Plants are really bushing out now too. I had to top the zkittlez and BBB#3 again as they are just getting too big. Nothing is definitively showing sex yet but I’m seeing clues. Shouldn’t be long now. If I get 4 females or less I will use 10gal pots, 5-7 fem 5gal pots and 8-12 3gal pots. I need to stop overwatering. Even though it doesn’t look too overwatered, it is much better to water a little bit each day at lights on. This will help keep the humidity down as well as deliver optimal oxygen to the roots speeding up plant growth considerably. (Day 45) Gave an EM1 spray down today. The beneficial bacteria is said to overpopulate surfaces so powdery mildew and septoria can’t form. Something seems to be really working as I haven’t seen any yet. (Day 47) I sealed up the tent and am running both dehumidifiers and it’s keeping the RH around a safe 70% night and day which is right on track with VPD. Plants are all looking super healthy. Deficiencies have pretty much all cleared up. Cold nights I’m running 600w and warmer nights I’ll run 400w. I was asking around Instagram about white ash/good burn and a few different people assured me it has to do with mineral content of the soil. I was told the three best products for clean ash is glacial rock dust/basalt, oyster shell flour and langbeinite. I already have langbeinite so I’ll grab the other amendments today and top dress. I grabbed the amendments and also got some Destiny Organics dark matter super soil, coco and some beneficial nematodes. Top dressed each amendment except langbeinite and mulched in some coco coir. (Day 48) My shelf came in today and I think it may be to big for the 4x4 tent. Each square is 12”, not the 11.8” advertised. I could wipe down my flower room and set it up in there which would give my plants a good adjustment to the new lights before I flip. Or I could set it up in the veg tent but that seems like a huge hassle as the need to be moved and flipped soon anyway. I wish they would show sex already so I can toss out the plants I’m not keeping. For flower I am considering starting over fresh with the new Destiny soil and coco mixed with some amendments. I’m concerned that my current mix might be too hot. I could also dilute it with the Destiny/coco mix. Those little bulb mites that came in with the worm castings are a little concerning as well. Some say they are just beneficial composters aka “worm bin mites” and others are telling me they’re predatory bulb mites which destroy crops like garlic. I’m leaning towards beneficial composters but in another grow I watched them devour a seedling before it sprouted. Gotta check the current roots but the plants aren’t quite ready to be transplanted. (Day 49) Got everything in the flower tent wiped down and sprayed with alcohol then EM1 few hours later. Got the shelf set up and got all my temp controls set up and running. I put the controllers outside the tent this time and will patch any light leaks. Gave a lite compost tea at 830ppm and a velokelp foliar spray at 6ml/L. This will be the last veg feeding before I transplant into their final containers on the 31st. BCTG#2 is a confirmed male and I pulled him. No one else is showing definitively. Roots looked super healthy with very few mites but I’m not 100% convinced they’re all clean. I saw a few mites on leaves today too. Saw a bit of droop after the move but they all look happy just a few hours later. Took a few clones from some sucker branches on a few of the blackberries.

Straw-Lectric Lemonade-STRNG Seed W18 F9 3/8-14 Harvest week 3/9 Straw-Lectric Lemonades are in the closet hanging to dry. With summer temperatures outside this week, the humidity in the garage was over 75% and the temps in the garage were in the mid-70s. I did not want mold after all this work. In the closet with the air conditioner running and the door closed, I can achieve 54-60%rh and temps of 66-74F. The SLL were #1 37’,’ #2 56” tall and 4 inches from the lights and #1 overshadowed by the Cadillacs. I flushed 3x with flawless finish before harvest. I used 577 wet trim of all 6 plants in the strawberry collection in bubble hash. I was in awe as the bagged leaves swirled in the washing machine, the water was Kool-Aid red and later was a deep wine red. The strawberries show their true colors. The larger buds are dense and weigh about 3g each. These were harvested on 3/9 and dried for 2 weeks dry weights taken on 3/27. Straw-Lectric Lemonade 1 350g wet 41g dry Straw-Lectric Lemonade 2 338g wet 36g dry. This totals 77 grams or 2.75 ounces. The yield is like my previous auto harvests. For a photo period strain I think the yield would have been larger per plant given their size. The taller Cadillacs overshadowed these as they were pushed to one side. The smaller harvest and more water usage is confirming my preference for growing autoflowers since the harvest is about the same size but is finished in 8-10 weeks seed to harvest rather than 18-20 or more.
