Finally back to the garden after 4 weeks away. They were really in need of love by the time I got back to take care of the garden. BIG NEWS! Now running a California Lightworks Solarxtreme 500 as my main light. Will add a second SX500 light into the room once I start flower. Hit the LST on the again and just making sure they are getting fed and lots of love. Will have to push back my starting flower by another few weeks. See how the recover

This was when the plant was first moved to new grow space. I had to do a good bit of defoliation on week 4 as the plant was getting too big for its old space.

So this is how things are looking at the end of Week 8,going into week 9. Definitely one of my best grows yet, no issues whatsoever, great strain to run, if I like how she smokes (which I'm sure I will) I will definitely run her again.

This is plant one and two, plant one cane down 5 days before plant two so didnt get the exact wet weight, 5 days into hang dry plant one weighed 250g, plant two was cut down and chopped for box dry, weighed 200g for the heads and 300g for the lower plant produce, will update when dry and tested

Hello Growmies, Week 3 for our Watermelon Candy by Zamnesia is unfolding with promise as we observe their transition through pre-flower. Opting for low-stress training over topping, we're guiding their growth gently to maximize their potential. The plants have gracefully reached our SCROG, and with two already skillfully trained, they are demonstrating adaptability and robustness. Through the canopy, we see an even spread of foliage, indicating that our LST approach is on point. The structure of the plants is sturdy, showing that the careful maneuvering through the SCROG mesh has been well received. The greenery is lush, leaves are perked up, reaching for the light—signs that our Watermelon Candy plants are in their element and thriving. Our environmental management has mirrored the successful strategies implemented with our Epic Buzz and Red Banana Pudding strains. Daytime conditions are meticulously controlled, with the Tent-X system maintaining VPD within the ideal range for healthy plant activity. However, as we've noted with our other strains, our nighttime VPD control presents a challenge. The data indicate a discrepancy in maintaining optimal humidity levels when the lights are off, suggesting that our current setup is not fully regulating the environment during these crucial hours. The intention to integrate the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is a move towards rectifying this issue, with the aim to achieve a seamless 24-hour environmental control. The transition to this enhanced system will ensure that our Watermelon Candy plants receive the same level of consistent care throughout their entire growth cycle. Their current robust state and the proactive steps we are taking to fine-tune their environment have set a strong foundation for the weeks to come. This haze is super sugary, has a piney pungent smell and vapor is thick and flavorful and smooth. This plant had a smaller LED light for most of its life until week 8 when it was put under the 400watt HPS which may account for why its yielded so much less then her tent mate. Very nice uplifting and psychoactive heady effects. Lessons learned for me this grow are; use smaller pots & monitoring run-off and water enough for run off is important for soil to not get salt build up. I learned a lot in this grow and am so much more confident and ready for my next grow which should be coming pretty soon! A more difficult week. I've been battling the water consumption on two of the girls. I ordered and hooked up the Blumats auto watering system. I followed the instructions to a T but they don't work on those settings for this type of plant. They must be recommending for succulents cause the girls dried out right away with the settings. So I've been slowing dialing it in the get the proper amount to release. This girl is doing fine with the water. Prolly because she was stunted and doesn't need as much. Been growing these in greenhouse while I didn't have space under the mars hydro was taking full advantage of the sun happy and healthy and cutting my veg time in half

Coming along nicely - weekly nutes continue. Training the 4 offshoots and trimmed at the 3rd node. She is long on most sides so it will be interesting training her back to get ready for scrog.

Para empezar es buena variedad un poco tardía de lo que dicen pero me encantó cultivarla , aún con la plaga de trips que sufrí las 2 últimas semanas aguantaron y sacaron unas flores alucinantes. Las flores aparte se ven resinosa y tienen colores llamativos. La planta pues si creció vigorosa, no es muy frondosa y es resistente. Fue una genética con la que disfruté bastante y es bastante fácil de cultivar. These are the replacement crew for the left hand side of my tent. They have been growing for around 1-2 weeks in 1 gal pots and then 1 month in the final 4gal. They are currently running on veg nutes for the first week or 2 of the flip, then they will join the other side with a 1000pm flower version of the Mega Crops. For veg I run part a/part b at a 1:1 For flower i run it at 2:1. Ill be slowly removing bud site growth that is closer to the bottom. Also will remove all the lower leaves around week 3 or 4,depending on foliage.

Trichomes are coming along.nicely. looks like its gonna go over 60 days. Most of the pistils are still white despite flowering for 42 days already. PS. Sorry guys i cannot answer to the comments due to having a problem verifying my email. The lil plants in the pot are clover (cover crops), help retain moisture and good for small living organism

Melon Gum has been loosingva lot of leaves. I think something is effecting the roots. I did a solution change and rinsed the roots in a H2O and water mix. 🤞🏻it helps resolve the issue enough to get to the finish. Updating two days early but wicked happy with the progress so far. Starting to understand the strain and what it likes to be fed so just trying to adapt to it and really lock in on a smooth feeding schedule. Have been against pruning in the past but couldn't resist attempting "Nebulas Manifold" and finally topped after the 6th node finally developed this morning. Topped on the 3rd node with leaving a stump for connection and trimmed the remaining nodes below. Was pretty surprised at how much they were reaching when I check in on them tonight but happy to see they're still crankin. Time to wait for the 4th node and top again.
